Project management was complicated, and there was often a lack of clear responsibility and communication. We decided to get rid of the project leader role as soon as we had the internal resources for this, and the work, with the time, improved a ton! We also had an engagement manager who always had an ear for our needs and did his best to improve what we wished for.

Migrate approximately 50 complex Lotus Notes databases to Sharepoint online and decommission Lotus Notes.

We have been partnering with Future Processing for some time and the experience was always very positive so we decided to leverage that partnership for this project.

Future Processing was responsible for providing technical solutions, Sharepoint online development, functional testing, UAT support, go live, post go live and turnover to support. Most of the developed applications had an approval workflow and the ones with more data used SQL.

5 developers and 1 QA.

Applications were migrated as planned. The results were aligned with the goals and expectations.

Deadlines were met as planned and the collaboration was very good. We communicated in daily stand up meetings with MS Teams, email and Azure DevOps.
