For many years now, we've partnered with Fungi Marketing to assist our manufacturing tech clients with web optimization including SEO, PPC, and organic ranking optimization. Most recently, we had a client who just asked us to revamp their entire B2B website. With such a big task, we leaned on Fungi to help make sure the transition from old site, to the newly designed site was seamless.

With Fungi's leadership, we were able to increase the speed of the website. We also saw visitor traffic increase over time.

I’m the marketing consultant for a medical nonprofit. We provide free medical care to people who don’t have health insurance.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fungi Marketing?

We didn’t have a website.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fungi Marketing has built our WordPress website from scratch, and we’ve worked with them on content development. They’ve also provided monthly maintenance for the past three years and given us analytics reports.

Online donations are the site’s main feature. We want to make sure that people can easily donate because we run off donations. Another key feature is to make sure that patients know their eligibility for healthcare. Since volunteer doctors give the medical care, we also need potential volunteers to understand the requirements.

What is the team composition?

We work primarily with Ryan (Founder & Chief Automation Architect) and Julie (Technical Marketing Specialist). We don’t know the teammates in the background; Ryan and Julie are our main points of contact.

A board member recommended them. We chose them because they were willing to work with a small nonprofit and had experience working with healthcare systems.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen increases in every area. The most significant is the donations we’ve received online. In three years, we’ve received over $50,000.

How did Fungi Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

Since we have limited knowledge and funds, they’re great at recommending what’s best for us. If we have to choose between two things, they give us a list of what we could do later or what needs to be addressed quicker. Overall, Fungi Marketing is a great partner, and they treat us like a big client.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They treat us with respect. Although we’re a small nonprofit, we’ve gotten a red-carpet service. Moreover, Fungi Marketing is responsive and acknowledges our limited knowledge in the field. They hold our hands through the process and make good financial recommendations.

No, I can’t think of anything to improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be honest and share your information so you can work from where you’re at. They can’t do their best work if they don’t fully understand your situation or needs. Even if you don’t know how to say it correctly, just share your goals and let them be the experts.
