 Functn took a lot of time to understand our target audience and used this understanding to create a new website that better addresses and expands it. After an extended process concerning our corporate identity and online media presence, we moved on to the design. Shortly after, the programming began, followed by gradually filling the website with content. We received excellent advice and support at every step of the process.

We have great website visitor numbers, received lots of feedback from our community, and are ranked at the top in certain areas of Google search.

functn was our leading agency for our website relaunch. In the first step functn creates a master design. From this framework we have started the roll-out in more than 25 countries. After the relaunch process functn has developed to our content creation agency. Main topic of this cooperation is the creation of 3-5 digital promotions per year.

The Kotányi website in more than 25 countries, at least 3 digital tailormade campaigns per year.

The project management was in every part of the project great. Functn gave us always the perfect overview about past and upcoming milestones. If the speed of the project has to slow down or speed up (because of challenges on our side) functn adapt their project plans.

The goal was clear: we wanted a new website that met current standards, had a functioning web store, boasted a modern design, technically met all SEO requirements and scored with an intuitive UI. Functn was a reliable partner in all aspects. From planning to web design and development.

Particularly challenging were the conversion from Typo3 to WordPress, the development of a functioning and customer-friendly web store, the connection to our ERP system and complex data structures.

Functn was able to master every challenge well and we were very satisfied with the end result. Since the relaunch, we have already made several design adjustments, added new content elements and have received ongoing support from functn.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Webshop sales have increased by around 30%. Since the relaunch, SEO performance has demonstrably improved and the number of monthly website visitors has also increased.

Communication: It is important to mention that the website relaunch took place during the corona pandemic. The project launch still took place in person, but most of the rest of the collaboration was virtual. We had regular meetings and, depending on the topic, consultations in specialist teams. Communication took place via Slack or by telephone. Functn was always available and response times were very short.

Time management: Of course there are sometimes small delays, but important deadlines are always met. If not, it's usually because we didn't deliver information or data on time. Functn has often implemented our requests at short notice with impressive speed.

Documentation: Functn documents requirements and decisions very precisely. This meant that progress was always visible and easy for us to follow.
 
Organization & Team: During the relaunch, we were supported by the CEO. We were then assigned our own project manager. We were in constant contact with the developer and the graphic designer. Everyone did a very good job, knew their way around the project and were not only competent but very helpful.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

There are now many professional web agencies that have a very good reputation. Functn is one of them. It is therefore not surprising that they know their work and have a very competent and skilled team.

However, what clearly sets Functn apart from other competitors is the way they respond to customer needs. Our needs are discussed and recorded in detail. Functn works out proposals and solutions that often exceed our expectations. They take our requirements and then give them that certain something with their creative & innovative approaches.

But what impressed us the most? The functn employees took the time to explain procedures and processes to us. Not just superficially, but in detail. In particular, they explained the technical aspects in an understandable way. We in marketing learned a lot from them and were able to develop a technical understanding that helps us in our day-to-day work.

Through their willingness to explain things (sometimes multiple times), their patience and, above all, their professionalism, you can tell that Functn is passionate about what they do.

Small bumps in the road are normal in any long-term project. This is normal, but there is nothing to mention that goes beyond the scope.

The website has been entirely rebuilt. A key objective was to utilise overview pages for products, materials and sectors as landing pages. The performance of our search engine optimisation (SEO) is subject to continuous monitoring and improvement through the implementation of appropriate measures. We gained valuable insights into the most relevant keywords and content, which we subsequently optimised.

We have received a great deal of positive feedback from users of the website.
The website has achieved higher rankings in search engines, resulting in an increased number of customer inquiries and a higher number of job applicants.

Excellent agency that has designed and implemented our online store. In addition to the perfect web design, we constantly work together on improvements and receive input or direct support in all digital matters such as google ads, social media, SEO, and newsletter marketing.

Online business was a totally new thing for us, we thought of it more as a service to our existing customers but it developed into much more and also boosted sales in our brick and mortar stores. They helped us grow our business and stay connected to our growing number of customers, also outside of Austria.

The project was finished just in time, very good and frequent communications. Best part are pro-active suggestions on how to develop the project further after initial project was finished. It is an ongoing process.
