In pursuit of refining our marketing strategies, we’ve thought of amplifying our PPC and SEO efforts to increase our digital sales. Fullmoon Digital has helped us fulfill this goal by initially conducting in-depth analysis to identify vulnerabilities and broken SEO links. They’ve then focused on redoing our meta tags and designer descriptions, optimizing our content by highlighting our services.

As for our PPC pipeline, Fullmoon Digital has taken over our Google Ads account by changing our bidding structures. We regularly collaborate with them to provide them any information that they need to further our PPC campaigns.

Our metrics change depending n what we want to achieve within a particular time frame. Since fashion retail is an industry with ebbs and flows, we often manage our expectations and focus on which areas we want to optimize.

Fullmoon Digital has strived to meet these changing needs, and the overall results have been great so far — especially considering that we’re their first client in the fashion industry.

We’re always in touch with Fullmoon Digital since most of our work is collaborative. We communicate via email and hold weekly meetings.

We discovered FullMoon Digital via referral from our current web host. They felt Full Moon would be a great fit for us, and they were right.

We began with a few introductory/fact finding meetings. They took the time to fully grasp our structure, goals, core values, and our blind spots. They custom-tailored a solution that is perfect for us. They handle all of our online advertising, including Google and Social Media. We meet with them weekly to fine-tune our strategy and set goals for the future. Our growth has been great, and we are hitting the goals we set at launch.

What was the team composition?

I meet weekly with the team they have assigned to us. That team consists of an account manager, Google Ads expert and a Social Media expert. Each meeting has an agenda beforehand, and a follow up afterwards. Things move very fast at our company, and I really, really appreciate that I can reach out to that team and get quick responses.

**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our website is less than a year old, but it is performing like a much more seasoned site. Our ROAS is higher than we expected at this stage, and our acquisition costs continue to drop each month. We have been profitable right out of the gate.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I meet weekly with the team at FullMoon Digital. I get an email in advance with the meeting itinerary, and a follow-up email with bullet points afterward. The live dashboard they provide makes it super fast end easy to keep tabs on the data points I care about.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What has really meant the most to me is that they actually care about our success. They've put a lot of time and effort in developing our strategies. They care about the results as much as we do. They always return calls and emails. They listen. They feel like an extension of our company family.

No, we are happy.

**BACKGROUND**
Introduce your business and what you do there.
GUNNAR Optics is a digital eye strain glasses company. My role was president and chief marketing officer.


**OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE**
What challenge were you trying to address with Fullmoon Digital?
Since there were no other eye strain glasses on the market, we had to create a new category. Consumers wouldn’t know what to search for, and we needed to create an entirely new set of search terms and develop brand and product awareness. We wanted help to increase our visibility across various search platforms.


**SOLUTION**
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did all of our paid search and much of our SEO. Essentially, they acted as our full-funnel marketing assistant and supported everything from digital acquisition to conversion, retargeting, and remarketing. They also found appropriate contacts to add to our direct email campaigns.
Another major part of their involvement was keyword research. We had some thoughts on where to start, but their insight into larger search engines yielded a lot of important information that helped us determine which terms were most useful. They built out a three-month marketing calendar that included our targets, primary posts, contributions to our social media messaging, and follow-up posts. We then revisited the calendar each month to make adjustments to ensure we stayed on track.
What is the team composition? 
Their owner worked with us before he founded Fullmoon. When he broke off to start his own company, we left with him. That was about three and a half years ago.
How did you come to work with Fullmoon Digital?
I only worked with the owner. He was our direct point of contact and worked very closely with me and my team. I know he had a team that worked under him, but I can’t cite its exact size.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $3,000–$4,000 a month. We had a primary contract with them, but also added intermittent tasks that were outside that contract. In all, we spent at least $50,000 with them each year.
What is the status of this engagement?
The collaboration started before their inception, but the collaboration with Fullmoon probably started around February or March 2015. I left the company in March 2018, but the partnership was ongoing at my departure. I’m currently in conversations with them to start a relationship with my new company.


**RESULTS & FEEDBACK**
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our traffic and our revenue grew consistently over the course of our collaboration. By the time I left, we saw at least a 20% increase in revenue and around a 40% boost in traffic volume. There was nothing negative about the collaboration.
How did Fullmoon Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
They did very well throughout the years of interaction with them. We had regular weekly calls and frequent updates. Whenever we faced a rapid string of changes, they were in continual conversations with us to help us through. We used Basecamp as our primary management tool, and general email for daily needs. Even though they weren’t in the building with us, they felt like a part of the team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their attention to detail was really good. They brought new things to us all the time, and we had a very collaborative relationship. We knew the brand, and they had the wherewithal to help us grow. Project management and their ability to keep us on task were major selling points. They were very proactive and kept us accountable, especially as we approached deadlines for important campaigns.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything they should change. We learned a lot as we went, and they leveraged their connections to get us great customer service with some third-party vendors. We got good direction and other useful perks from them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be organized. They will help keep you on task, but it’s important to be prepared to keep up with them. Let them steer the project on the digital strategy side, but they will only be as successful as you allow them to be.
