• We needed a branded digital platform for Activia in Ukraine that could serve multiple purposes in one coherent experience: present the product catalog, communicate the brand’s scientific credentials around probiotic benefits, host an ongoing content hub, run promotional mechanics, and engage users with interactive tools. The previous setup wasn’t flexible enough to support all of these in an integrated way. We also wanted a platform that could house campaign mechanics — specifically a 21-day challenge without requiring a separate microsite each time.

The platform covers the full digital presence for the Activia brand in Ukraine. Key deliverables included:

• Product catalog presenting the Activia product range with relevant attributes

• “Self-Care Academy” — a content hub with articles filterable by topic (Probiotics, Lifestyle, Beauty, Digestive Comfort, Microbiome) and by expert contributor

• Brand science section presenting Activia’s probiotic credentials, and an FAQ addressing common consumer questions

• Interactive Gut Health Tracker — a multi-step questionnaire developed in partnership with the Ukrainian Association of Dietitians, returning personalised results across five health profiles

• Activia Challenge promotional module: a 21-day campaign mechanic with code registration via Telegram bot, tiered prize system, bi-weekly and monthly prize draws, winners display, and campaign rules

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

The platform successfully runs as the central digital touchpoint for the Activia brand in Ukraine, handling both evergreen brand content and time-limited promotional campaigns on the same infrastructure. The Activia Challenge mechanic — with its code registration, prize tracking, and winners display — is live and operational, running the current campaign from February through April 2026. The Gut Health Tracker, developed with the Ukrainian Association of Dietitians, adds a credible interactive layer that supports the brand’s health positioning. The Self-Care Academy content section provides a structured, filterable content experience that supports SEO and repeat visits. The site operates consistently across devices and handles campaign traffic without performance issues.

Frontmen managed the project with clear structure and reliable communication throughout. Given that the scope included both standard brand platform components and more custom interactive features — the Gut Health Tracker and the campaign mechanics — keeping the workstreams coordinated was important. They maintained regular progress updates and flagged dependencies early when the campaign module and Telegram integration required closer alignment on our side. The project was delivered on schedule. When we had revision requests, they were handled promptly and without escalation.

Their ability to combine what are effectively three different types of product in one coherent platform: a brand website, a content hub, and a promotional campaign engine. Each of those has different logic and different user expectations, and the result holds together as a single experience rather than feeling like separate pieces bolted together. The Gut Health Tracker was also a more involved deliverable — developing it in partnership with the Ukrainian Association of Dietitians added a layer of coordination that they handled well.

The platform is now one of main communication channels with our international partners. B2B clients across our target markets have direct access to all the technical data they need to evaluate and specify our products, which reduces friction early in the sales process. Internally, the platform has consolidated how we present ourselves across markets, which previously required multiple fragmented materials.

A dedicated project manager coordinated between our team and theirs, kept the work moving through multiple parallel streams – architecture, design, content integration, localization – and maintained regular reporting so we had visibility on progress. 
When questions came up around market-specific content requirements or technical taxonomy, they engaged substantively rather than just passing the issue back to us. Delivery was on schedule and aligned with the agreed milestones.

Their ability to handle the information architecture for a technically complex, multi-market product catalog was the most notable aspect. Presenting pipe and railway product specifications in a way that is both comprehensive for engineers and navigable for procurement teams – across three language zones – requires genuine structural thinking, not just design and coding. 
Frontmen approached that challenge methodically and came up with a system that works in practice. They also showed an understanding of B2B communication logic, which isn’t something every web agency brings to the table.

The project ran well overall. Early alignment on content taxonomy for the multilingual sections took more iterations than expected - clearer upfront documentation on how product attributes would map across markets would have saved some time. That is partly a shared responsibility, but a more structured discovery phase at the start would have helped. No significant issues with execution.

That kind of discipline at the discovery stage is not universal.

We wanted to create an intuitive and user-friendly system, and the Frontmen team successfully implemented it. There are many CRM systems on the market, the implementation of which is a difficult task. This requires significant costs and efforts. 

After discussing our goals, desired structure, and possible solutions, we splitted the project into sprints and made a UI development plan with the designer while the developers implemented the CRM system on the platform. Figma, Javascript, Laravel Framework and Php were used effectively, efficiently and creatively.

After that, the team offered design options and prepared a detailed technical task to develop a PHP website that could answer our requirements. The Frontmen team has also developed a separate Research portal within the site, which has a special features: keeps track of registered customers, sends emails, allows us to automate many processes.

After launching our website we saw a 80% increase in traffic and visitors stayed on the site pages twice as long as before. We received a lot of nice feedback about the design of the website and the ease of finding the right information on it. Thanks to the updated functionality of the site, our employees spend three times less time working with clients.

We found 10 potential developers for the first round and asked to provide a short presentation of the new project. There were cheaper offers but Frontmen already had a similar project so they understand our market and our business goals.

We started with the backlog we sent them for quotation so there were not a lot of questions. After some time they provided the b/w mock-up then a colourful design according to our brand book. During the different stages of the project there were various teams but we had a good project manager that aimed all negotiations at her side. Sometimes we had conference calls with them if they want to determine some complex questions.

In case of market changes our deadline has shifted earlier so we asked to hurry. We received the MVP for the required date and the rest in two weeks. It was totally acceptable for us. We are satisfied with the Frontmen's work. Now we launched the second stage of the project. I highly recommend Frontmen as developer.

As I wrote before our income and quantity of transactions increased. For example in December we increased for 34% comparing to previous year, in November for 55%, and in January for 184% (comparing to the previous year).

The management style at Frontmen is one of prioroties of their perfect service. Among the tools of communication we use Teamwork programm, where we schedule all our tasks, comments, files, and timing. For fast communication we use Telegram chat, it helps to fasten some daily tasks.

We appreciate to the friedly and active communication of Frontmen team, they are always ready to explain any issues, and meet all our needs, as a customer. If necessary, we carry on Skype calls, to discuss important stages of the project with all our team.

The most impressive fact about Frontmen is their multifunctional and complex attitude to our needs. They don't just realize our separate tasks but analyze all facts, which can influence the final result.

For example, we started to work with online promotion, but realized that our website needs to be rebranded, to make some functional improvements, to be more convenient and modern for the consumers, and in such a way we globally improved our results for promotion.

They pay attention to all stages of our online development - such as UA/UX design, technical problems of our website, and other issues which can be improved. We like their proactivity during the project realization and their commitment to our success.
