The project took 6 months where we initially thought it would be max 1-2 months (unforeseen circumstances happened, so I'm not upset about it). I did find it difficult to properly explain my vision for the project, but I think that's more of me not knowing what I wanted. It would have been more helpful if they had more examples of websites in my niche.
Also, for whatever reason, my initial wire transfer payment to their bank in India got stuck (I don't think it's their fault either) and I still wasn't able to recover it :( So I had to pay a little extra for this project. We ended up using PayPal.
