I’m an accounts assistant for Gold Bank Limited, which focuses on gold refinement.

What challenge were you trying to address with Freelancer Groups?

We went to them because we wanted a customer-facing mobile application developed for Android and iOS.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Freelancer Groups did it all for us, from design to development. We just told them what we wanted. The app provides current accurate gold, silver, and platinum prices.

They also developed our new website and made a system for invoices and purchases.

What is the team composition?

We’ve only worked with Anand (Business Analyst and Project Manager, Freelancer Groups).

How did you come to work with Freelancer Groups?

One of our prior designers knew them. She was from Delhi also, and she knew Freelancer Groups through a friend of a friend.

How much have you invested with them?

We paid them £18,000 (between $10,000 to $50,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Freelancer Groups between July to August of 2019. The app has launched on the Google Play store.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The app is running perfectly at the moment, and we can’t complain. It has truly benefited us. Before, we couldn’t communicate with our suppliers. Now that they’ve got this app, we can put daily comments on it. It saves us a lot of time, and everybody knows what the price is. 

How did Freelancer Groups perform from a project management standpoint?

I can call Anand day or night. He’s just brilliant.  I live in the United Kingdom, and he’s in India so there’s a time difference of five and a half hours. He’s always available, and I’ve joked with him about never going to sleep. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Our point of contact is fast, dedicated, and prompt. If I want something to get done, it will be done. He won’t linger on it.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Everything’s just perfect. His English is perfect, and we can understand each other well. His communication is brilliant, and he gets it right the first time. We don’t have to keep on reminding him, or anything.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

People looking to get their work done quickly should go to Freelancer Groups. Anand knows about everything to do with IT (not just mobile apps). He’s just done our website as well. The only downside is that Anand is in India. If he were here, we would need him constantly.
