As a new business owner in the Data, Analytics and AI space, having an online presence is indispensable for generating new business and demonstrating content leadership. For me, having a website to support my LinkedIn profile has therefor always been a part of the plan. However, finding a party to execute that plan while making the journey easy and cost efficient was a challenge. Primarily because it is my first website, and I don’t have a clue about its return on investment.

I was very happy therefor when The Free Website Guys reached out to me and offered their help. Because their excellent support during the journey, the way they standardized both the process and the technologies used, and the tons of experience they bring to it, getting the website up and running was a very exciting and pleasant experience.

Everything was communicated timely and in a way I was able to understand. We needed an entire website from scratch, FAST. We were extremely booked and didn't have much time to supervise the project. Over the course of a single month, communicating solely through email in my spare time, they threw up the most attractive website I've seen in my industry. It loads fast and pops right up on the first page of Google too. We needed a way for clients to easily find us and contact us, and this definitely did it.

We've received a boom of engagement on our website, including longer interactions, sign ups, even client engagement. Also strong social proof, as the website quality conveys expertise, authoritativeness, and trustworthiness.

For a project this large, it was finished much earlier than expected -- no corners cut. Sven completely communicated the timeframes and progress updates, while keeping in mind it was our busiest month. He did it all with minimal supervision and responses from our end.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Services like this don't really exist anymore, especially not at this quality. If I were a giant enterprise and paid what it was worth (a LOT), I would've been just as happy as I am now with the outcome. As their name suggests, this was entirely free. I paid for the webhosting which was only 30$/yr, and I wanted to buy a plugin kit from another company which the Free Website Guys actually set up for me as a bonus.

No areas of improvement to suggest, I'm still completely baffled that the website they provided is ours.

There are not enough wonderful things I can say about this amazing group of people.  By accepting my application, they have taken the dream of my new business and brand to a whole new level that I would never have been able to imagine on my own. They are all very pleasant and courteous to work with.  Not to mention extremely knowledgeable and willing to help, which is especially appreciated to someone who is not tech savvy in the slightest. The video's and step by step instructions are very easy to follow.  I would recommend The Free Website Guys to anyone.  I know I plan on using their services in the future, should I ever need them. I found Free Website Guys through someone who recommended them to me via LinkedIn. At first, I thought that it couldn't be real since making a website is usually quite an expensive process. However, as I was just starting my own company, I really needed a website and decided to proceed with it. I am very happy that I did so, as I had a fantastic experience with them! They built me a brand new professional website, and besides that, they always kept me up to date, completed everything quickly, and the communication with their staff was very pleasant and positive! The Free Website Guys assisted me in getting a web domain set up, and then walked me through the process of picking a theme for my website. Afterwards, they did all the work of loading that theme into website, and then gave me a detailed explanation of how to let them know how I wanted to customize the build and layout of the website. 
When all that was done, they then provided me another detailed explanation of to edit and customize the website to my liking. The communication was very clear and consistent.

There were a number of different steps that Sven laid out, that gave a pretty clear depiction of the progress that would be made with the completion of each step.

During each step of the project, I was consistently debriefed and updated on what exactly was taking place and what the timeframe for completion would be. If I had any questions, Sven would respond in a very timely manner with clear instruction or explanations.

What I found most impressive was the level of care and detail these guys put into their work. Although this particular service is free, they give you the same amount of customer service, professionalism, and care as they would for a paid service.
