I am the Business Development Manager of Bianor.com - a software service company.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fram Creative?

Bianor was collaborating with a Swiss design studio on a time-sensitive project, but due to resource shortages the Swiss company could not proceed work on the project. To keep our project time-frame, Bianor needed fast on-boarding of a reliable and effective design partner.

How did you select this vendor?

Fram Creative were recommended to Bianor from a software company within our network of partners. Bianor also had previous experience with Fram Creative, but on smaller tasks for our website.

An NZZ owned company requested Bianor to rewrite their web based platform, including software consultancy, new architecture, data migration to AWS. Bianor took over the engineering. Design activities were entrusted to Fram Creative after the previously-selected Swiss studio dropped from the project.

Fram had to effectively onboard the project and to immediately gain speed, so that engineering deadlines are met. Fram did what it takes - client interviews, user stories and documentation review, discussions with our engineering team - and within the same week came up with few versions of design for each of the main pages. Throughout the project all stakeholders were absolutely thrilled by Fram's creativity, agility, straightforward open communication and tempo.

Bianor worked directly with the Project Manager. The team was comprised of two more UI/UX designers.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The client on the project set the goal to be number one on the niche market the platform is operating. Fram set the grounds for that outcome with the user-friendly, intuitive and efficient design.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

These guys are unique professionals - creativity and punctuality, business focus and artistic contribution - all goes hand in hand. The project required timely communication and with Fram all ran smoothly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their team's creativity and ability to deliver under pressure were absolutely impressive. Fram provided three variations of UI on short notice and all of the variations were excellently presented and well-thought of.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None I can think of. The team is a source of great inspiration.

We have used Fram Creative services for creating UX/UI design for a mobile application that Bianor has been developing for a very large and important customer of ours.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to create a functional and user-friendly interface to correspond to the specific customer's requirements. We hired Fram to design the UX and UI of a mobile application. They designed all the possible user flows and states based on our requirements.

How did you select Fram Creative?

We have previous working experience with Fram Creative. The most recent job we did together was an internal employer branding project which they implemented precisely and on time. This gave us the confidence to involve them as a subcontractor for the current one.

Describe the project in detail.

Design of the UX and UI of a mobile application. For the user interface design, Fram Creative had to comply with the already existing visual identity. Their work also included creating a functional prototype which was used to conduct usability testing in order to validate the usability of the mobile app.

What was the team composition?

Fram Creative had assigned a project manager who was in direct and constant communication with our team. In addition, we were holding regular meetings with Fram's unit to make sure all team members are on the same page and aware of all details.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Fram Creative did their part of the project in a very timely manner, within the previously agreed schedule. This allowed us to stick to the plans and warp up the whole project on time, which is of extreme importance for all Bianor-managed tasks.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had perfect communication from Day 1. Fram Creative team and management are very responsive and always react fast to all upcoming changes and requirements. Being in different time zones with the customer did not hinder our communication and work with Fram.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their passion for what they do and the eagerness not just to fulfill the tasks but to add value to the whole project based on their experience and know-how.

Are there any areas for improvement?

We did not experience any failures while working on this project with Fram Creative, however, as we all strive for perfection we are constantly looking for details to improve.

They were recommended by business friends and their website and portfolio looked remarkable.

We had multiple meetings to acquaint them with the topic on hand, as it was very specific. In addition, our industry is characterized with a very strong subculture and our target is known to have low tolerance towards anything non-endemic in nature.

We worked with the director as well as multiple designers, who were always present at the meetings.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Due to reasons completely unrelated to the outstanding work of FRAM, we were not able to implement the rebranding on time, but essentially every single one of their different propositions was superior to our brand assets at the time.

Everything was done in an extremely time-efficient manner. They communicated with us constantly for multiple days to understand our vision and industry specifics, before retreating and not bothering us in any way until they were done with a vast array of different variants.

I personally loved this, as I like not having to micro-manage a project in a field I have no amount of expertise in (like graphic design). In the meantime, as we later found out, they had focused the recourses of the entire company into the creation of an outstanding number of different options for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As our target audience is so difficult to address in an endemic way, I had never expected a company that had no prior experience with working with it, to be able to produce such incredible results, especially in such a short span of time. Their versatility surprised us the most and the ability to deeply research a subject matter.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I honestly have nothing to say here.

I have met Marina on several business events and I already liked her enthusiasm and understanding of our business. This created trust. And when we urgently needed help in this field, she was the first one for me to reach out to. And she immediately took the job on.

The project was relatively small, but for us very important. And I had no idea how to create a briefing. Fram Creative was very pro-active and suggested that they would create an example. They actually did some research in order to come up with a great landingspage.

I don't know. But this is what I like. The company took the assignment and provided me with a timely delivery. I had contact with two people. The owner (Marina) and another person. I suppose the designer.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Fram Creative delivered the whole project in a timely and professional manner. They actually provided us with three designs so we had a choice. The design is currently implemented and is live. There were no other itterations needed. We were immedately happy with the results.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I mainly discussed the work with Marina (the owner). She asked me several questions and I provided feedback. We had online-meetings, some phone-calls and e-mail exchanges. The project was quite small. This was effective.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The enthousiasm, the communication and the results. My colleagues are normallly quite fussy about design results. But in this case everyone was happy right away.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No topics for improvements in this case. They have handled everything in a timely and professional manner.

I’m a senior product manager at Emerchantpay, an online payment service provider and a one-stop shop for everything online-payments related.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fram Creative?

We offer a virtual terminal to our clients and we needed help with the UI/UX design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with the UI/UX mockups and wireframes to prepare the mobile-based version of our app, because we wanted to make it more usable — we also improved the web version of this solution with their mockups. We wanted to be able to use it on all handheld devices including smart POS devices.

We told them our problem and showed them what we currently had. In an iterative fashion, they sent us suggestions, mockups, and wireframes. We used Adobe XD for them sharing the results of their work and it was our developers that took it onwards.

What is the team composition?

There are three people assigned to the project. Initially, there were UI/UX designers involved and the CEO who is also a chief designer.

How did you come to work with Fram Creative?

We found them by chance. A colleague of mine was searching LinkedIn for people who deal with UI/UX in Bulgaria. We did a POC with Fram Creative and chose them.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent less than $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2020, and the partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It was very easy to work with them from the start. They delivered in a timely manner and the results have been good — we still use their designs. The user feedback has been positive as no one has complained.

How did Fram Creative perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is great and the communication is very easy — they’re well organized and responsive. We communicate via email, Skype, and phone calls.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their communication and speed of delivery are impressive — they’re a breeze to work with.

No, they’re doing great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Give it a try. They’re still a relatively small company in the Bulgarian market, but you’ll be pleased with the results.

One of the main challenges of the project was how heavy it is going to be with all the products we offer. We needed to categorize them and figure out how to present them so we do not confuse the user with too much information.

We managed to fully develop the website in the set timeframes and launch it. Currently, the website is leading our sales and we are analyzing user behavior to make sure that the experience is optimized. So far we have amazing customer satisfaction rates.

Both teams have worked previously together and have experience delegating tasks and solving problems. We were communicating with Fram regarding all creative aspects and they were very open about progress, ideas, and explaining thoroughly when needed.

They are very open to critique. When we had a different vision they would pick up the direction very fast and bring in amazing ideas.

They can offer a full customer experience. Currently, they work with partners but having development and marketing in one place is going to be a good direction the company can aim towards.

Creating a design for a mobile app and platform that allows the user to order food for home from a wide variety of new and exclusive Mish Mash restaurants. The Fram Team had to create a great user experience that can set us apart from other similar apps that are already well established in our client’s minds. Also, to create a delicious user interface that makes the user want to proceed with ordering or visiting locally.

We had 1 UX expert and 1 UI expert. They were both project managers and we communicated with them on daily basis. Any other information was passed to the team through them.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our app is on the verge of being released. We haven’t still presented it to the audience, so we are yet to see how successful it is going to be. We are happy with the work that the team have done and cannot wait to show it to the world.

Fram are very effective in their communication. They are masters of lists and creating a structure to clear out a picture. The workflow was easy and smooth. No problems occurred.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their work ethic. The team follows their values and it really shows how much they cherish a project and they never want to disappoint. Also, they have very creative solutions to problems that are not even part of their sphere of expertise. They hold real value.

They can be braver with their ideas because they are really great. We received 2 concepts for each task we set. One we designed and one they offered. We always ended choosing theirs.

It was through a personal connection with the Founder of Fram Creative Solutions - Marina Shideroff. Knowing someone as a person doesn't mean they will get the job done but Marina really amazed me with the results her team accomplished.

In detail, we were in need of Logo Redesign, Corporate Identity Redesign. It becomes quite difficult when you are in the Law industry to apply creativity and innovation. The formality of my project was worrying me as we were not sure we would find someone to embrace the seriousness of our brand.

I was lucky enough to get several proposals for my branding from all team members. Seeing their creativity and different approaches in styling was a great pleasure.

The physical outcome is impossible to be shown but my clients always compliment me on my branding. Some of the great feedback is that it is welcoming but doesn’t lack seriousness and professionalism.

The workflow was not that complicated and all my corrections were fixed accordingly and in-time. Overall the whole process went smoothly.

Marina is and her team are really creative in their own way. The team houses experts with different views on the world and they all show it through their work. If you need your brand to show personality, they are the right people!

To be completely honest I had no major remarks. Their attitude towards my project was great and there were no delays or denied feedback.

Communication was spread between a UI Expert and a UX expert. Additional team members were helping out in the project but we had no contact with them.

We did achieve the goals that were set for the project and we met all our targets. The outcomes are still coming as we are keeping the same branding.

Very effective. Our team and the Fram crew were on board and keeping the other side updated at all times. When there was miscommunication it was addressed straight away and there were no delays in the workflow.

I found most impressive the trust and communication they instantly build with our team. They are very adaptive and fastly grasp ideas and methodologies.

We would love to see them push the boundaries of UX/UI, they showed us out of the box thinking and it was brilliant. They can be true innovators in this industry.

Creating user experience design and user interface design.

How did you select Fram Creative?

We were searching for the right creative agency to build a solid relationship with and eventually a long-term partnership. Fram got to us with a recommendation which really helped us build trust with them.

The goal was to improve the UX/UI of an existing platform. We started off with regular weekly meetings clearing out the main UX flows of the platform and choosing the right UI design.

Fram continue to support the our dev team during the development process by providing what they might need or help in solving problems they might come across.

What was the team composition?

On this project, we worked with two UI Designers and two UX designers. In addition to the team, there was a project manager to keep track of the progress, due tasks, and elimination of missed deadlines.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our work went smoothly and the outcomes are client satisfaction. After the improvement of the UX and UI, we managed to optimize the client journey and the results are ongoing.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective, both teams were very flexible with communication channels and deligating tasks. There were no delays on both sides or loss of communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The ideas of the team are impressive. They truly are the embodiment of a creative agency. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t receive the usual template ideas.

Differation in 2021 is a difficult task for every business. It is almost impossible to be innovative but Fram managed to raise the bar and bring something to life that leaves a mark on the user.
