We saw how professionally our project was being handled by the vendor team, and communicating with them about anything we wished to address was an easy task, since their team was always ready to clarify information for us. We used Google Meet to go about discussing work and sometimes, for brief kinds of communication, we relied on emails. The team was always on time for submitting work according to the set timeline and when they had to update us with the progress and how things were looking.

For what projects/services did your company hire Foreignerds INC., and what were your goals?
We hired Foreignerds to develop a custom software portal based on NetSuite for our business.With ever increasing business, it was getting harder to keep track of everything. We needed reliable software that could not only manage our resources but also take care of various other aspects of our business - orders, sales, marketing, etc.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We filtered a couple of agencies that had hands-on working experience with NetSuite. Foreignerds was one of them. We discussed with them our requirements and it was decided that we would go ahead with their team to handle our project. The deciding factors were mainly their vast knowledge in software development and extensive portfolio.

Their team first understood our requirements and gave us a detailed plan and timeline that they would follow through. Once the milestones were determined, their team started developing the software and it’s different modules. All of our requirements needed work in the development and design aspects and a customized script was also prepared.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were a few software developers who worked on the design aspect and we also had NetSuite experts work on the project. Our project manager overlooked all of the processes from the beginning till the end of the project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
With NetSuite’s latest functioning capabilities, our business was able to move the processing time for orders from 4 days to one day, and in this process, we were able to significantly reduce our full-time staffing count from four to two. From the point of view of business growth, we had grown by about 60%. Even though our work force was making 60% more sales, we wanted to have an advantage of utilizing the NetSuite technology, in order to prevent hiring more staff.

The project was managed in the most professional and effective way. Every request of ours was met quickly and they did everything in the exact way we wanted them to. The communication was smooth between our teams and they were very much on time regarding submission of work and updating us about the workflow and the pace at which the project was going. We communicated through emails and had calls frequently through Google Meet.

The way the vendor team worked with enthusiasm and wanted to give their best for our project was very impressive. We have collaborated with various vendors in the past but no team has been as easy to work with, as it was with Foreignerds.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
They can work on the software they use for project management - the ones they use are quite hard to deal with. They can adopt some easy to use tools that are open source and easy to work with.

We discussed our requirements with them and it was decided that we would have their team work on our project because they had developed a good number of software applications previously.

During the initial days of the beginning of the project, their team first took the time to understand how our firm worked and what exactly we were aiming to achieve from our requirements. They then sketched out initial designs and mockups for the software.
Once they were approved, they converted them into a fully functional software application. Their team gave suggestions and inputs whenever they felt like the project could work in a better way and their insights seemed to perfect our project. They met all of the deliverables which were to create a custom software that could streamline our business processes.

We worked closely with a project manager, who supervised the work, all the way from the idea creation stage to the implementation stage and we also worked with front end and back end developers.

The quality of work done by Foreignerds was excellent and we were happy with the outcome. We had received the exact kind of developmental support we were seeking from their team. They were with us all the time. Guided us gently through the project. The software they developed has improved our efficiency by 10% and reduced the man hours by a good number.

The project management style was smooth and communication was highly effective between our teams. The tools of communication that we mostly used were either emails or Skype - sometimes Microsoft Teams. The vendor team respected timeliness since they got the work done on time and nothing was ever pending, on their end.

The most impressive thing about Foreignerds is that they delivered exceptional results and we were happy to have worked with them. Their knowledge in this industry is extensive and they were always keeping us updated about the trends in this field and teaching us new concepts.
