OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE
For what projects/services did your company hire Foreignerds INC., and what were your goals?
We wanted to create a storefront to showcase and sell our products. The aim was to keep the store lite, fast, and easy to use. There were a few other features we wanted to integrate such as express checkout, social media login, OTP verification, etc. Since technically sound experts handle these services better, we hired Foreignerds.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We were looking at a dozen eCommerce companies on the internet. We also spoke to a few of our clients and colleagues and created a list of agencies. We shortlisted 4 of them and had a detailed chat about the project. We discussed our business goals and asked questions regarding their previous projects and overall development strategy. From all the companies, Foreignerds came up with a flexible approach. And so we decided to partner up with them for the project.

Their team first developed a roadmap for us - it included key milestones, KPIs, etc. They then set on to design the storefront from head to toe. Their team shared with us 3-4 designs. We selected one that made the most sense and asked them to modify it a bit. After a few iterations here and there - the design was just perfect. So their team then started coding - they developed each feature meticulously, integrated it to the main frame and set up the back-end. When the store was ready, their team tested it thoroughly to ensure it was bug-free and delivered a seamless experience.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with designers, creative architects, and developers for the most part. The manager who was allotted to our project took care of pretty much everything - including the project execution and planning.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We are delighted with the storefront’s design. The payment gateway has been tested several times, and it works smoothly. The technical skills of their team were excellent. The visitors have a better experience in navigating through our website. The chatbot has helped solve queries of many people, which has also contributed to an increased conversion rate. We are expecting long-term results from the project deliverables.

The project management was handled effectively by the project leader. He was available at our disposal at all times. The Jira tool was used to manage the project activities and conducted meetings on Google meet. We discussed the strategy with the team bi-weekly, and they reported the development of the website via email. The team was always approachable for any queries. Even during the meeting, the experts were prompt in giving solutions for our project needs. The communication was kept transparent throughout the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were thorough in delivering the results and maintaining the record of activities. Due to their effective management style, we were able to test the website properly before the final launch. All the team members are experts in their field, which led to the successful completion of the project. We are most impressed by their customer service and the quality of the outcome.

For what projects/services did your company hire Foreignerds INC., and what were your goals?
We thought of hiring Foreignerds to help us create an Android app for one of our in-house projects. The main goals were to create the mobile versions of our web application in order to improve the users’ engagement with our brand.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had gone through a wide variety of mobile application development services, looked at our options and discussed the pros and cons of these companies, and then finally decided on Foreignerds, since they seemed to have great experience and their costs were reasonable.

After a few discovery calls were conducted, we had given to the vendor team our existing iOS codebase so that the team could gain a better understanding and review it in a more extensive manner. It was on the basis of the release of our Android application’s first version that we were able to settle on the timeline and a rough cost of how much the project might come up to. As the development of the application was taking place, both of our teams would get on calls to discuss the progress of the work.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had a project manager with us from the commencement of the project and they communicated with us every 2 days and there was also a development team that consisted of a QA and the developer. After gaining a basic idea of how the project was going to proceed, we brought in more members to quickly complete working various aspects of the project.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The vendor team was extremely successful with respect to meeting our expectations in terms of creating the Android version of the application, after taking references from the iOS version of the application. The team used the right coding language and OS environment to fit the needs of the project.

The project was taken care of professionally and the way the communication flowed was smoothly. The communication tools we used were either Scoro or Google Meet to be up to speed with everything that was going on with the project.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
It was the vendor team’s ability to tackle the challenges and come up with unique ideas and solutions that really impressed us. They were good at communication and adhered to the timeline. The project was completed in a much shorter time than they had initially committed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The vendor team successfully produced high quality work as per our needs and we were extremely pleased with the results. We believe that there are no areas of improvement.
