We hired Fordewind to build an internal automation system that would streamline several parts of our lead generation process. We needed a solution capable of connecting our outreach platforms, cleaning and validating data, monitoring responses, and synchronizing everything across multiple tools.

Fordewind designed and developed a full, cloud-connected system that automated data processing, scoring, and routing while integrating deeply with our CRM and communication channels. Their team handled everything end-to-end: requirements discovery, architecture, backend development, API integrations, and deployment.

They delivered a scalable backend, multiple microservices, automated workflows, dashboards for internal teams, and a fully documented infrastructure that we could maintain easily.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The system Fordewind built significantly improved our operational efficiency.

We reduced manual work by more than half, improved the accuracy of our data processing, and accelerated outreach preparation for our campaigns.

Most importantly, the automation layer they developed helped us increase the speed of launching new projects and improved overall consistency across our workflows.

Our team now relies on the system daily, and it has become a core part of our internal operations.

Project management was smooth and transparent. Fordewind communicated clearly, delivered on time, and quickly adapted whenever we needed changes or additional features.

They ran weekly syncs, kept us updated with progress, and were highly responsive in Slack. Their structure made it easy to follow the development process and understand how each component was implemented.
They also helped us refine our requirements when we weren’t fully sure what solution would work best.

Their engineering team quickly understood the specifics of our lead generation models and translated that into a robust automation system.
 We were particularly impressed with how they handled integrations, data flows, and edge cases that we hadn’t even considered.

Nothing major. The collaboration went smoothly, and we plan to continue working with them on future expansions of the system.

We were trying to develop a web application.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fordewind.io is designing and developing a web application from scratch based on a set of requirements we asked for. The app handles different data exchanges and large file uploads and features different interfaces showing user rules for our medical devices.

Fordewind.io uses Java and AWS to develop the web app. They’ve released the first version and are currently working on a second version, adding more features we’ve requested. This second version is in its beta phase. They’ll also provide maintenance once they finish developing the web app. 

What is the team composition?

Our main point of contact is Yevgen (Senior Project Manager). There’s one leading developer on the backend, another in the frontend, and more teammates working on the testing and other project parts. Overall, we’ve been working with a team of 5–10 specialists from Fordewind.io.

How did you come to work with Fordewind.io?

When I started working at my company, this project had already begun. Although I wasn’t present when they were chosen, I believe we found them through a former employee. The company interviewed different service providers and ended up choosing Fordewind.io.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2021, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We're a startup, and this web app is just one part of our final product, which we're still developing. We've received good feedback from our internal team, and we've also recently tested the web app in a pilot lab — it has been very well received.

How did Fordewind.io perform from a project management standpoint?

Fordewind.io is very good at communicating with us. We have weekly Zoom meetings, plus numerous emails, phone calls, and text messages through WhatsApp. 

For project management, we use Jira. Through this platform, Fordewind.io provides us with mock-ups of their designs and updates about the project. They've been excellent at clarifying their interpretation of our requests, and I have nothing but high remarks for their communication and time management skills.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We work with other design firms, and Fordewind.io is my favorite. They're responsive and dedicated to accomplishing our needs. They're based in Ukraine, and I can't speak highly enough about the fact that they've continued to work during the Russian Invasion. We'll definitely work with them again.

I have nothing negative to say about Fordewind.io. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend you work collaboratively with Fordewind.io to find the most effective communication channels. They'll communicate with their customers as much as possible, and it's up to you to keep those communication channels open and responsive. This way, you'll be in sync with their progress and requests.

I am the director of Streamlines Aero Ltd, we make electronic devices for wind measurement and aerodynamic optimisation in cycling, automotive, and wind turbines.

We needed an iOS app for updating the firmware on our electronics. We had a brief outline of what the product should do, and we were looking for a company to take this directive and create a suitable iOS application.

We spoke to four vendors, and Vladimir had a very good understanding of the process and managed to suggest to us a simpler and more elegant solution to fulfil this application.

We had an existing web api which could serve the firmware. The iOS application was written in Swift using a Nordic software module for OTA (over the air) BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) updates. Fordewind executed this and deployed the application on the App Store.

A project manager was assigned to us, as well as a software developer and a QA engineer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Fordewind delivered a working prototype within several weeks, and completed the project ahead of schedule. We are very happy with application and they have offered us some simple improvements which will expand the functionality of the application.

Our project manager was very communicative, we received updates almost daily. We had a google document outlining the project specification and we modified this document to adjust to changes.

We were very impressed with their expertise and speed. They have a very good understanding of the IoT ecosystem and we would highly recommend.

We were very happy with the project outcome; it exceeded our expectations.

Our application has some external hardware integration. We needed a company that could code and work with hardware while exploring and giving us options. Our goals were to move from theory to prototype and prove that our solution would be viable for our customers. From there we developed and enterprise stable level application.

We searched for months doing interviews and accessing over 40 developers. We selected Fordewind because they had a clear communication and project plan. We liked how the projects were spilt to 2 week sprints with constant deliveries and feedback. Fordewind offered us the perfect mix of quality and value and they had expertise that our project needed. We got this positive impression right from the first kick off meeting.

Our aim was to develop an Android to Android app to begin with and then integrate smartwatches. Fordewind also set up our AWS and various other adhoc systems such as email sign up and verification codes. They also got a version of our application on the google play store with little to no problems.

We have a functioning APK that works really well. Deliveries were generally on time and any delays were flagged in advance. Budget overruns were rare and managed well.

We had 2 weekly meetings with our project manager. We received constant APK updates and were kept in the loop very well of progress and issues.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

This was our first time working with an overseas team and we're impressed by their informative and communicative flow. We didn't feel the geographical distance in any way. We also found our project manager very truthful and knowledgeable.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

It took us a few weeks to get a proper operating rhythm but I feel this could be down to us as we were inexperienced in the area.

I’m the COO and co-founder of a company called Stable Innovations, and we’re based in Ireland. We have a hardware and software platform that determines the health and well-being of horses.

We’re a fairly new startup so we reached out to Fordewind.io to help us develop a software platform.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fordewind.io was essentially our external partner for software product development. We started with a document of requirements and once that was done, we started building the larger scope for the project — which they quoted competitively. They then helped us build the UI/UX of the product and how it was going to look for the users. They also provided us with creating algorithms, business analysis, and some VA work.

They then went on to build the database to implement the algorithms and testing, so we sent over a hardware device to test in their office. After that, they built our cloud platform using Google Firebase and implemented that to our users.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now have a very good product that we can use, so we’re in a very advantageous position. We get daily positive feedback from our users saying they’re happy with how the platform looks and how it operates.

How did Fordewind.io perform from a project management standpoint?

Their communication was really good and they were able to answer questions quickly. Even though there were a couple of delays in the schedule, we were still happy with the timelines and the interaction we had with them. We used Slack, Zoom, Google Meet, and email as our primary tools for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were very impressed with their ability to perform their tasks. We spent a long time working out the different user profiles and journeys before we jumped to the development of the project. Additionally, they were very open and honest about what they could and couldn’t do, and what products they would recommend.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They were the first company I’ve worked with for this type of project, and it was very smooth and seamless. Therefore, there’s really nothing they could improve on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would suggest having more business analysis done up front and not leave it all to Fordewind.io to help on that. Even though they helped us out, it did take up a lot of their time, so I suggest having a complete scope and requirements to make their lives easier.
