• Let employers find candidates instead of waiting for applications. Companies browse and filter student profiles by location, skills, availability and interests, cutting the time and cost of hiring for entry level, part time and seasonal roles.
• Keep pricing close to zero so money never stops a young person being seen: a single payment of about €3 for students and about €99 per year for companies, with promo codes for free or discounted access for targeted groups.
• Build the data model, backend and admin tooling so that deeper analytics, new features and expansion beyond Ireland can be added later without rebuilding the product.
• Deliver the student and company experiences together rather than sequentially, so the platform launches with both supply and demand present and can reach useful liquidity from the first cohort of users.
• Operate lawfully for an audience that includes minors from age 16: full GDPR compliance with consent and data deletion flows, EU data residency, and moderation tools to remove content and disable accounts.

The ratio of active students to active companies, the core health measure of a two sided market. Tracked alongside the share of job listings that receive at least one application.

Profile completion rate, the percentage of students who finish a full profile after signing up. Incomplete profiles are invisible to employers, so this predicts whether discovery actually works.

Job listings published per month and the average number of applications received per listing, showing that students are not just registering but acting on opportunities.

Monthly and weekly active users split by student and company, plus saved or bookmarked jobs, candidate searches run by companies, and profile updates posted by students.

The percentage of student sign ups that complete the one time payment, the company subscription conversion rate, the annual renewal rate, and promo code redemption.

• Unblock publication of ShareCab on Google Play and the App Store by closing the security, compliance and configuration gaps that were preventing release.
• Secure user data: replace fully open Firestore rules with least-privilege rules, and gate every internal screen behind authentication.
• Remove the FlutterFlow dependency by rebuilding the app in native Flutter, so the client owns maintainable source code and can evolve the product without platform limits.
• Position the product unambiguously as a licensed-taxi sharing service — never a transport operator — in the terminology, the flows and the mandatory legal confirmations.
• Make the app fully bilingual (Spanish/English) for an Ireland and Spain audience, including server-composed push notifications in each recipient's own language.

FlutterLab rebuilt ShareCab from FlutterFlow using a custom, maintainable Flutter codebase for iOS and Android. The scope included redesigning and developing the mobile app, implementing core features—such as creating and joining ride groups, finding users with similar routes, sending requests, viewing trip details, and communicating via an internal chat—and creating a fully bilingual version in Spanish and English. They also enhanced data security and access controls in Firebase/Firestore and updated terminology and user flows to clarify that ShareCab connects passengers to share licensed taxis but does not provide taxi services or manage drivers. Finally, they handled testing, bug fixes, and successful publication on Google Play and the App Store.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Firestore security rules moved from 100% open — any user could read or write any record — to least-privilege, with 15/15 automated rule tests passing in production.

All 7 contracted scope items delivered and closed, plus a substantial body of work found during live testing with real users and folded into the same release.

67 automated tests now guard the codebase, each one written against a defect reproduced first, so every fix is locked against regression.

8 Cloud Functions in production covering notifications, push delivery, account cleanup and support reporting; push text is composed in the recipient's language, not the sender's.

GDPR account deletion implemented end to end: deleting an account removes the auth user and cleans its data, where previously it left orphaned personal records behind.

290 interface strings maintained in Spanish and English across 20 screens, with 4 bilingual legal pages and a public account-deletion page live on the product domain.

ShareCab was successfully published on Google Play and the App Store in July 2026. FlutterLab resolved issues related to an invalid package identifier and an incomplete Firebase configuration, which had previously blocked the app's publication.

FlutterLab managed the project professionally and addressed our needs throughout the process. Although development and launch took longer than initially anticipated due to some technical issues, the team worked on the necessary fixes and successfully published the apps on the Google Play Store and App Store. They were also responsive to questions, open to our feedback, and willing to make requested adjustments. Overall, they met the key deliverables and handled emerging issues effectively.

It is worth highlighting that Alberto managed the project with great professionalism, commitment, and dedication. He was deeply involved throughout the process, listened to my ideas, addressed my needs, and carried out requested adjustments with great patience and attention to detail. I am very satisfied with his work and would not hesitate to work with him again on future enhancements.

What impressed me most about FlutterLab was Alberto’s personal involvement and commitment. From the very beginning, he understood the vision for ShareCab and knew how to tailor the project to my needs, even when complex technical changes were required. I would particularly highlight his patience, his ability to explain technical aspects, his attention to detail, and his willingness to find solutions. He didn't just stop at developing the app; he stayed with the project until the publishing issues were resolved and ShareCab was successfully launched on both iOS and Android. His dedication and approachable manner made the experience far more positive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something FlutterLab could have done differently?

I have no major criticisms regarding Alberto's work. If I had to point out an area for improvement, it would be establishing a more detailed schedule from the outset and reviewing all technical and publishing requirements for both stores beforehand to avoid subsequent delays or roadblocks. Communicating any risks that might affect the schedule further in advance would also be helpful. That said, Alberto always responded with great professionalism; he took ownership of issues and worked until they were resolved, so I consider the final result to be very satisfactory.

• Profile: User data, login settings, Adaral contact, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as well as logout 
• Document capture using the camera in various modes with specific customization for Adaral 

All integrated with Adaral's private REST API and faithfully following the UI/UX design/experience for the application.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We divided the project into several phases. Initially, there was a proof of concept phase where we selected the most critical part of the project, aiming to ensure feasibility as soon as possible. 

Once this phase was successfully completed and we confirmed that we had not identified any limits that would pose a risk to the desired experience or functionality of the mobile application, we divided the delivery into two functional phases, each subject to a payment plan, pending our functional approval. 

As a final milestone, we agreed to conclude the project once the applications were uploaded to the respective stores and after the validation and approval processes by Apple and Android were successfully completed, allowing us to publish the application. We had a good relationship throughout the project's lifecycle, always receiving collaboration from your side. 

Open and responsive to the feedback provided by us in the deliverables of the different phases, we consistently found a willingness on your part to successfully complete the project. As an overall result, we have the application published on the Google and Apple stores, available for our customers.

Throughout the process, there were some tasks that experienced delays, impacting the final planning and project duration. This is something that happens in all software projects; the key here is that despite the uncomfortable situation for both parties, we always found collaboration on your side and a willingness to come as close as possible to our expectations in the planning without compromising the quality of the deliverable. 

Additionally, there was very positive reception to the feedback provided by us during validation, allowing for necessary adjustments to enhance the functional quality and overall UX we were aiming for in the application

Our mobile application was initially being developed by a company that withdrew from the project midway, necessitating us to engage a new one to undertake the following tasks: 

• Identify and resolve bugs, crashes, and performance issues within the Flutter app. 
• Collaborate with the TuriTop development team to implement necessary fixes and enhancements.

We divided the project into milestones, and these were handed over to FlutterLab for development. From the beginning, even without coding the application from scratch, they were able to identify existing bugs and resolve them quickly. In fact, they not only met the planned deadlines, but exceeded them. 
They also provided valuable advice on good coding practices that the previous company had not applied to the app. Once the app was published on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, our customers downloaded it and, to date, no bugs have been reported. This demonstrates that the delivery of the app is stable and works properly.

The solution consists of three databases: the first is a customer-facing app that allows users to order drinks. The second is a waiter app that enables waiters to serve drinks. The third is an admin-facing app that allows us to input data, such as drink prices, into the database without jeopardizing the solution’s functionality.

I’m only in direct contact with Alberto (Founder), but I believe there are around five people involved in the app's development.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The app allows twice as many drinks to be served as with the traditional method. It's simple but effective, and I'm confident that in a month and a half, we'll have close to 1,000 app downloads. We're preparing to do the first demo for the app, so we don't have an accurate number of users yet.

As for the app's quality, I believe that I've gotten more than what I paid for. The feedback from family and friends has been very good. I am planning on investing more in FlutterLab and this project to further improve the quality of the app.

FlutterLab has done well in terms of project management. They have been incredibly patient with me. We primarily communicate through video calls.

FlutterLab exhibited phenomenal knowledge across the breadth of the project lifespan, from design, to both front and backend development. However our favorite part of the project was experiencing the excitement and commitment to the project from FlutterLab, creating a unique partnership.

If any improvement could have helped this project it would likely have been on our side, as with any software development, as we tested more we implemented changes and backtracked at times. FlutterLab was patient and helpful throughout these curveballs.

Creation of a digital wallet/electronic purses. The initial idea was to build a tool that allows you to make payments online. The wallet had to securely store virtual versions of debit and credit cards, allow banking transactions and/or payments. Consultation of balances and movements. Likewise, the app had to allow authentication through FaceApp or fingerprint.

The collaboration started with the scaffolding of the Flutter project. FlutterLab then helped us develop the main section of the app which had different components that were challenging to assemble such as carousels, several video players and an infinite scroll. Once this part was successfully developed, the team implemented the Checkout process integrating our backend systems and Stripe.
