What challenge were you trying to address with Flair Digital?

We hired Flair Digital to perform UX & UI design on our web interface.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We supplied them with rough sketches and wireframes, but their team used those as references before designing the work. The team helped with theming, figuring out color schemes, icons, and fonts, and crafting the overall look & feel of the whole site.

What is the team composition?

We probably had four people working on the project at a time. We had a primary point of contact, but also communicated with others on the team.

How did you come to work with Flair Digital?

We found Flair Digital on a site that features graphic designers. After viewing their work, we spoke with them before meeting with them in-person. Since we liked their work, we went with them.

How much have you invested with them?

We started working with Flair Digital in October 2018, and the main part of the project wrapped up in April 2019.

What is the status of this engagement?

I believe we spent around $20,000.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We received positive feedback from our customers on the ease of use of design. This is due to the look & feel Flair Digital created for the site.

How did Flair Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

From a project management standpoint, they were extremely responsive. The main point of contact was always on top of things. We mainly communicated over Slack. We also used a mockup tool.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Flair Digital can come up with creative solutions for issues. This ability complements their responsiveness.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have anything.

For any engagement, it’s important to talk about the project’s vision and expectations upfront. The team at Flair Digital is full of good communicators. You can solve problems together, but it’s important to have an upfront understanding of what to do.

The project has only been live for a short period of time, however, the reception from any forum in which we have presented it, either online or in-person has been overwhelmingly positive.
