The work included business cards, logo redesign, website (every page) designed and responsive website design. The team at Fivecube have been amazing and have produced outstanding work. We wanted to re-brand and create a simplistic but a modern website.

I searched online for a few designers. I managed to hire someone off dribble, who managed to do ok on one project. However, I quickly realised that he wasn't suitable for my more complex projects. Thus I looked around and found Fivecube Studio. I was immediately impressed by their portfolio. I also liked how Yevheniy, approached the problem. He first analysed our requirements and sent us a sample. This gave me confidence and I knew this company was the right one.

Describe the project in detail.

The project purpose was to rebrand our company and design mockups for the new website with the new branding. I provided the Fivecube Team with some sample websites and general direction of what I was after. That is all it took. I did not have to supply any wireframes or anything. They interviewed me and asked for general requirements. Fivecube team then went away and created a few pages for me to look at. It was exactly what I wanted. In the end, Fivecube, delivered a sketch file with all the mockups. They also gave me a brand-book and all the assets.

What was the team composition?

Yevheniy Kladov, and Vira Vesna were the two people I was in contact with. I believe they internally have a larger team who complete all the design work. I prefer this setup as I can just deal one with person and they can take care of the rest :). Yevheniy also spoke to one of my colleagues who is a web developer and acted upon his feedback. Fivecube team took our feedback and produced great results.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The website is not yet live (as we are developing it now), however, all other stakeholders have been amazed and really like the output we received. As a result of hiring Fivecube studio, all our goals have been met and the result was beyond our expectations.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Fivecube studio performed really well. Because this was a relatively small project, we just use Skype to communicate. All our expectations and communication happened via Skype. The team were very punctual, worked well with our busy schedule and were always on top of their communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Communication is top notch. The skills of the employees is very high. They have extensive experience. What separates them from other vendors is honesty. Yevheniy is honest, punctual and always willing to help out where he can.

Nothing that I can think of right now. Amazing work guys!!

We provide free legal services to vulnerable categories of citizens. Founded in 2018, we have hundreds of satisfied clients. Since 2020, our new service is consumers rights protection and free legal aid to consumers of financial services. I am Deputy Manager.

One of our main clients are young people, finishing schools, and entering the universities. They only begin to earn and save their own money and have no idea to handle them properly. Thus, the level of financial literacy of young people nowadays is very low.

What were your goals for this project?

The ideal solution was to develop an online financial educational game allowing children to simulate everyday situations, where they have to take financial decisions. For example, go to the movie or save money for journey. The game should be of a simple and friendly interface, but attractive enough to catch the attention of teenagers

How did you select this vendor?

They were recommended by our colleague, who previously worked with us as a legal innovations consultant. Since we had a limited granted budget for the game design and development and a very strict deadline rule, we decided not to look for someone else and trust this company. It turned to be absolutely right decision.

They designed, developed, configured, and launched an online financial educational game. The work started with general negotiations, allowing us to describe our main desires and framing the basic workflow, divided into to main parts: game design and game development. The milestones were set after every major step done concerning the interface of the game and necessary changes were made after our feedback.

What was the team composition?

The project team had about five people, but certain individuals would come and go depending on the skills needed. However, there was a project managed, who was always in touch helping to resolve all the formal issues as well as gathering all the team for meetings and describe our position for them.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

The educational game development was among our main obligations before the donor. It was done within the declared budget and strictly in time. That allowed us to hold a big educational webinar during which the game was officially released. Since then, there are many active players having fun and learning at the same time. This game also turned out to be an ideal solution for schools trying to find new interactive ways of studying during the pandemic.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The project management of the team was of the highest level. The deadlines and tasks that should be completed at that time were clear and real. All of the work was done on time and most of the delay was because of the formal issues. The team was very friendly and easy to communicate. We used mostly Telegram and GoogleMeet.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed by the ability of the team to talk the language of the client. They were patient enough to explain all the technical issues that we weren't competent in. As a result, we always knew what is going on and trusted the team completely,

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only piece of advice I would like to make for guys is to learn more about their clients before the official start of the cooperation. Especially, when their clients do not work in the same fields and don't know a lot about IT basics. It will safe a lot of time and definitely ease communication.

Fivecube Studio was responsible for wireframing, some graphic design, color palette design, etc. My role was overall guidance, requirements, and supervision of all projects.

Overall usage of both the iOS and Android applications increased by significant numbers. User engagement on our consumer websites increased as well. Stakeholders in the business were very impressed with the design changes to all applications.

The workflow was seamless. Fivecube Studios felt as if they were members of the team. We collaborated using Trello and Slack with no complications in communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They easily fit in as "members of the team" - they did not feel like a separate entity. Fivecube always felt as if they had the best interest of our company in mind and were not afraid to push back on us if they truly felt their suggestions were the right way to go.

Our company, myself included, did not have and were not experienced in UI/UX - that's why we hired Fivecube. I'm glad they pushed back because we got a better product in the end.

We have launched several new features and improvements to our software that were built in direct collaboration with the Fivecube designer. This has boosted the capabilities of our SaaS solution and improved the experience for our users.

The designer from Fivecube integrated seamlessly with our internal workflows, participating in our processes in a manner virtually indistinguishable from an internal collaborator.

Apart from the designs itself, one of the highlights of working with Fivecube has been the positive disposition, availability and eagerness to contribute for the success of the projects.

Despite the overall precision in the output, there were at times some confusion regarding which change should appear on which version. But we quickly discussed and defined a tracking process to provide clarity in execution.

They’ve grown in their project management skills. We use Trello and Slack for the project. If we need something done fairly quickly, which happens from time to time, they are very responsive, which speaks to their ability to get things done quickly.

The new UI we got was impressive as it was planned to be, we saw grammatical improvement on the avg. time on the website due to optimised cross-linking as well as improvement on CR because we have redesigned whole on boarding process.

It did look like a most efficient communication happening within same room, even though PMs was thousand kms apart.
