I’m the founder of a financial services company. We provide personalized mortgage solutions, offering expert guidance tailored to clients’ goals and circumstances, led by a top-ranked Canadian mortgage broker.

What challenge were you trying to address with Fetchly Labs?

I hired Fetchly Labs to look at a custom-built software solution I had been trying to get off the ground for my internal team.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Fetchly Labs did a full assessment of the code I had built so far. They also assessed my current tech stack to figure out the most practical and cost-effective way to get to the tech stack my company currently needs. The team reviewed my existing code and compared it against my MVP to go to market and my current tech stack. The deliverable was telling me the time and money it would take to get my custom-built solution to fully operational compared to my current tech stack and a few different changes we could potentially make to better optimize it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Fetchly Labs gave me an audit that got me to my desired result in a few weeks with less than a few thousand dollars spent, compared to months of development and likely another $100,000 spent. The reason I was making adjustments to my tech stack was that the current stack was causing me to lose leads and opportunities. I imagine that with their completed audit, work, and recommendations, it should increase my company’s revenue by roughly $20,000 a month without having to hire any additional staff.

Moreover, we’ve seen an improvement in operational efficiency, which helps us improve lead retention.

How did Fetchly Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Their project management was very good. They were highly communicative and met every single deadline. We mainly communicated through virtual meetings.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I appreciated that Fetchly Labs wasn’t afraid to make recommendations that didn’t align with my original thought process. I’m not an expert in the space, so having a team that was willing to be completely honest with me about what made sense and what didn’t was very valuable. They never made me feel like they were pushing me in a direction to take the option with the biggest price tag.

The tech space is saturated with people who are just trying to put you on retainers for tens of thousands of dollars a month. I had spoken with a handful of companies prior to Fetchly Labs that told me my code was great, and I was just feeling like there were a lot of little issues with it. Finally, I found Fetchly Labs, who really helped me understand the gap between where my tech was and how much time, effort, and money it would take to get it to where it needed to be. It really allowed me to make a decision about what was best for my company from a place of clarity.

I had so much experience over the last two years developing this software, working with different teams like Fetchly Labs. I found every other company overexaggerated what they would be able to do in terms of the actual outcome, along with the time it would take them to do it. Fetchly Labs was very direct about timeframes and the cost to complete the project. I just felt it was unique working with a team that actually prioritized my needs, not their desire to earn profit. That made me feel like I was actually getting expert advice, and I would come back to them in the future.

We rely on Fetchly Labs to help facilitate a smooth transition between our previous development partner and us. The team handles our AWS management, code management, and QA. The whole purpose of Fetchly Labs is to ensure that when our old partner rolls off, they can take over the code and testing management of our app.Since we started working with Fetchly Labs, they’ve delivered several key features, including Kount 360 migration, several site loyalty optimizations, and parity features with GNC.com.

I’m part owner and founder of the company. As an auto dealer, we set out to build software that streamlined the car buying process and made it easier for a customer to buy online. Many have tried, but we know the process and wanted to create something that was valuable to the consumer.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fetchly Labs, and what were your goals?

We hired Fetchly to design our goals to make this website and quoting tool possible. They assisted with visual design based on our needs, completed all the backend development, and assisted with API connections with other tools we needed to make all the pieces work properly.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with a few others that didn’t work out. We actually interviewed Fetchly early on and went with another company because they were larger in size. It was an expensive mistake. We went back to Fetchly and began work. We’ve been with them since 2019.

We had many planning meetings, and then their design team presented us with design templates and wireframes. After approvals, they began building on a dev site, and over the course of several months, we were able to fully test and launch the site. Today we are working with their project team, design team, and dev team on advancing the site for another client.

We have 3 project managers, 6 developers, 2 designers, and API specialist, and the owner/founder.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the site, over the course of 1 year, we became the leading Kia dealer in Colorado, and won awards for the region. We were able to produce triple the output and lower the amount of employees to go that work.
