I’m a senior digital product manager at GNC, a global health and wellness retailer offering a wide range of nutritional supplements, vitamins, and wellness products through retail stores, wholesale partnerships, and digital commerce.

What specific goals or objectives did you hire Fetchly Labs to accomplish for your digital product management or e-commerce efforts?

We hired Fetchly Labs to help us grow and maintain our mobile app. We needed someone who could handle the development, app store management, and QA.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We rely on Fetchly Labs to help facilitate a smooth transition between our previous development partner and us. The team handles our AWS management, code management, and QA. The whole purpose of Fetchly Labs is to ensure that when our old partner rolls off, they can take over the code and testing management of our app.Since we started working with Fetchly Labs, they’ve delivered several key features, including Kount 360 migration, several site loyalty optimizations, and parity features with GNC.com.

We work with 2–5 teammates from Fetchly Labs.

How did you come to work with Fetchly Labs?

We found them through an online search. We chose them because their pricing fit our budget, they were a great culture fit, and they offered good value for the cost.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2025, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve had successful maintenance of our mobile app without any downtime or interruption.

How did Fetchly Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re fantastic partners who make themselves available whenever we need them. They’ve been a great, reliable resource for all things app-related. We communicate via email and messaging apps.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve really enjoyed working with the team. We mesh well together and have great communication.

I can’t think of anything they’ve done wrong.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m part owner and founder of the company. As an auto dealer, we set out to build software that streamlined the car buying process and made it easier for a customer to buy online. Many have tried, but we know the process and wanted to create something that was valuable to the consumer.

For what projects/services did your company hire Fetchly Labs, and what were your goals?

We hired Fetchly to design our goals to make this website and quoting tool possible. They assisted with visual design based on our needs, completed all the backend development, and assisted with API connections with other tools we needed to make all the pieces work properly.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We worked with a few others that didn’t work out. We actually interviewed Fetchly early on and went with another company because they were larger in size. It was an expensive mistake. We went back to Fetchly and began work. We’ve been with them since 2019.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had many planning meetings, and then their design team presented us with design templates and wireframes. After approvals, they began building on a dev site, and over the course of several months, we were able to fully test and launch the site. Today we are working with their project team, design team, and dev team on advancing the site for another client.

We have 3 project managers, 6 developers, 2 designers, and API specialist, and the owner/founder.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After launching the site, over the course of 1 year, we became the leading Kia dealer in Colorado, and won awards for the region. We were able to produce triple the output and lower the amount of employees to go that work.

Weekly meetings, tracking spreadsheets, chatting tool for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I had my own team! They feel like employees of our company and are always available if we needed them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think everyone is always looking for things to be done faster. If anything, it’s speed and the desire to have fixes made quicker.
