I am the Founder and Principal for a consulting firm. We consult to organizations on leadership, team and organization development offering executive coaching, assessment and program development services.

Our website was dated. We hired The Favorite Co. to refresh our log and branding and move our site from worpress to squarespace. This required a lot of refresh on our many blog entries as well as a lift to the look and feel of the site overall..

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I selected Favorite Co. for Laurie Heller's creativity, her ability to quickly and articulately share her vision for the work. She also made everything seem so easy. And she brings a great team with her, particularly Liane.

Heller works in a flexible and iterative fashion - a very agile way. She always showed me options and was willing to accept feedback and pivot as needed. She is very personable, responsive and willing to go the extra mile.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I worked with three team members - Laurie and her right hand person Liane, and another extended team member to help transfer my email. Laurie would always go the extra mile to find the right resource in a timely manner.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

New site is up and running with the blog intact. I have gotten many compliments on the look and feel of the site.

Everyone was very easy to communicate with, and very flexible in delivering results.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Hands down — their creativity and speed of execution were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I hired The Favorite Co. for their creativity and branding/marketing knowledge and expertise. I got that hands down. If I am pressed for improvement - perhaps more structure in the process, but I probably own some of that.

I am the VP and Partner for a leading provider of solutions based on the Leadership Pipeline and specialist Pipeline concepts. We hold extensive experience in implementing these frameworks as the organizational infrastructure for developing, selecting and assessing performance of leaders and specialists.

We are focused on growing our US business and wanted to understand our digital landscape and competitors in this market. We hired The Favorite Co to help gain insights of SEO and did a competitive audit to watch and monitor what our competitors are doing well and where we have opportunities.

How did you select The Favorite Co., and what were the deciding factors?

I used The Favorite Co for a previous project and was pleased with the level of knowledge, detail, passion and willingness to partner with us.

We had a kick-off meeting with The Favorite Co with me and our CEO to start the planning and approach. Once they understood our goals, off they went and began their research and digging. The Founder and I (as SME) had several check-ins along the way to clarify my industry terminology, etc.

She went so far as to update her initial findings as we had to delay our meeting because of our calendar, so she wanted to make sure we had the latest information. She presented her findings to me and my CEO highlighting small and large impactful changes we could make to our website. She offered to spend 2 hours with our CEO to walk through each suggestion and see what he would like to change real time.

A very thorough analysis was done and we were pleased.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We have not implemented any of the changes yet to see how they would impact results.

We worked real time regarding tracking the project. The used Google docs to create the final summary and it was easy to edit and easy to access links created for our analysis.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their level of professionalism, knowledge, and always willing to go the extra mile approach have been impressive. Their always kept to the promised deliverable dates (I was actually the one to slow things down as I couldn't get my input back to her fast enough :-) )

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

No. we were happy with their approach and final work product/ suggestions.

I am a research scientist at the University of Virginia School of Medicine

For what projects/services did your company hire The Favorite Co., and what were your goals?

I hired them to create a professional website for myself. The goal was to have a site in which to collate my publications and other work outputs as well as contact information for journal editors requesting peer reviews and for other collaborators to learn about my areas of expertise before contacting me.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

It was a referral. Deciding factors were price and customer service. Heller was easy to work with and immediately understood what I needed. I also liked her style of website design.

Heller sent me some examples of website themes so that she could figure out my style. I chose it, she designed, created and wrote copy for it and then I told her I was happy with it. It was all very casual. It lasted about a month and we did it all using Squarespace.

Just Heller.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The measurable outcome is that I now have a website that is searchable online. I am very pleased with the deliverable.

Very casual, friendly style. Communication was done via email. It was all done within the anticipated timeframe.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Heller was honest about the project. She didn't sugar-coat anything. She's very knowledgeable but also easy to get along with.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really, everything went well.
