Given that this data pool is constantly growing and needs a lot of resources to analyze, we needed to create a solution that could collect and process various types of data. This way, we could create individual training programs and increase the involvement of students’ parents using the exact statistics and measurements.

What were your goals for this project?

Our main goal was to analyze the overall feasibility of a computer vision system to improve the quality of training analysis and in-club competitions. Then we needed to create MVP.

They were the runner-up choice when we hired our initial developer. Exposit proved to be able to realize the R&D phase and product development.

Exposit team reviewed the existing options for sports games analytics and found that wearable and optical tracking systems are often used in conjunction with greater accuracy of football analytics. And then, they have developed a working prototype based on a computer vision technology, as well as an operating algorithm: from setting up & calibrating cameras and ground marking to statistics reporting. The prototype can detect the player’s position on the football field during a match or training session and identify a specific player.

We worked with the ML department of Exposit including a Business Analyst, and two CV specialists.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Now we have an understanding of the key nodes of the system and together we have developed the working prototype.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Their team regularly met deadlines and was extremely supportive. Mostly we communicated via Skype and email.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most valuable is that Exposit realized a working prototype for a month and I can already aggregate data about our students. I also appreciate their initiative and innovative approach in offering the most workable ideas for implementation with great presenting and reporting skills.

Are there any areas for improvement?

My only suggestion is to articulate the documentation with more details for non-technical specialists.

Exposit team has analyzed and proposed a technical solution meeting our requirements. Their engineers developed a Web platform and API for connectivity with all brokerages. The software receives user data and transaction history and analyzes trading community activity. Exposit also created an analytics engine and a real-time tracking of the most successful traders over the chosen period. By the way, this solution has a scalable infrastructure.

There were three engineers working from their side.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We scaled up our statement of work because they were able to develop additional functionality.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Project management was handled from our side, but our cooperation was very productive as Exposit engineers seamlessly integrated into our team. There hasn't been any omissions or miscommunications.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their understanding of complex enterprise apps and specific corporate security principles really helped us in building our Fintech product safe and marketable. We were especially impressed by their custom approach to our business, team flexibility and ability to quickly start development.

We contacted Exposit with aspiration to refactor our code for winery profile management, bug fixes, DevOps and additional functionality for travelling planning, search, DB backups and more.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to customize people’s wine travel experience by providing an online application that could help users make more informed decisions on finding wineries that fit their preferences. In addition, providing wineries with the ability to reach their segmented audience.

Our CTO had worked with them prior and he highly recommended them. We compared several offers of IT companies and Exposit’s was the closest to our expectations in terms of budget and cooperation model.

The Exposit company was responsible for supporting and developing our web application. Their developers studied the source code created previously by a different team, wrote their own logic over the FB library and fixed errors to optimize the speed and flexibility of the application. A few of those features included implementing logic for database backups, Django CMS plug-in development, server performance optimization and "Consumer Travel Trip Planner" implementation.

A Team Lead and two software engineers.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

As a result of our joint development, the whole project was refactored. The new functionality helps our users to create the most engaging travel experiences for which we receive positive feedback.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We didn’t use project management from Exposit - it was handled from our side. In general, communication with the Exposit team was very productive and timely (given the time zone differences). They were responsive and flexible to new coming requirements. Slack was our best form of communication.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their soft skills, such as their ability to communicate and responsiveness, were impressive. Their development process was transparent and clear for us and they were timely in their deliveries. Most importantly, which was not the case with our prior team, is that they think through the user experience and make recommendations during development, which has optimized our customer experience. They don't code for coding sake, they were a partner in collaborating with us to realize the best experience based on our architecture and product road map.

I needed someone to develop my mobile app. My Android app was already developed but the previous developer didn’t have specialists for iOS.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed an iOS app for my CRM. The app allows my clients to track the status of their kitchen cabinets at the exact moment with status updates. They made prototypes, which we reviewed before development. They made it completely understandable.

Over a period of three or four months, we changed some features based on feedback we received from a client focus group. They also provided a testing period for one month with technical support.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They helped us to understand how it would work. We now need fewer personnel to call clients to give them status updates on where their kitchen cabinets are. Writing and calling into our offices has completely stopped.

How did Exposit perform from a project management standpoint?

The architect was our point of contact with the programmers. He explained everything to us. They delivered the app a week after our agreement, but that was because we were having them change a lot of things. They’re all great guys to communicate with even outside of work. We used Skype.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I can only rate them on convenience and money charged, but they’re very nice compared to the previous company I worked with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I’m considering asking them to help with our next project.

We have created several software projects together connected to Atlassian software, namely project management system and enterprise solutions for JIRA.

What were your goals for this project?

Our primary goal was to make our software easy to use for different project teams and make it compliant to Fremdarbeitskräfte guidelines - a German standard, that implies anonymized communication between customers and contractors. It was decided to develop special plugins to set up synchronization of issues between projects and anonymize JIRA communication.

How did you select this vendor?

We needed specialists with strong Java and Atlassian software development skills to realize Enterprise systems. We selected Exposit after analyzing several portfolios, and their experience was the closest to our requirements for the project. By the way, they offered reasonable prices.

During our last project, Exposit team developed JIRA plugins from scratch using Java 8, Atlassian SDK, AWS, Javascript, React and other tools. Software is compliant with the Fremdarbeitskräfte (FAK) guidelines. Functionality includes:

• Synchronization of issues, versions and components in two or more projects in real time;
• User-friendly setup for synchronizing several projects;
• Anonymization of users by replacing real names with configured company names, etc.

Exposit also provided us with performance testing for the developed software and currently provides timely support.

Initially, they provided three engineers. Later in the project, the number reduced to one to fit our needs.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

This software allows us not to waste time and efforts on synchronizing all the content between different projects and teams - it synchronizes data automatically in real time with no loss of data. And of course all the communication is non-personalized and compliant to FAK standards.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management is arranged from Polygran side, but Exposit people are doing a great job from a communications standpoint. We use Telegram and email mostly to stay in touch. They're very responsive and understand exactly what we need.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Exposit proved their experience working with Atlassian products and complex enterprise platforms. Their flexibility and ability to change processes quickly are extremely helpful. Exposit team understands how user experience can be effectively improved and it is skilled for creating corporate software compliant to privacy guidelines.

It might take them some time to find the available resource. But they've always found the resources that we requested and met our needs.

Exposit team has developed our web application from scratch. Their engineering team worked with project manager and business analyst from their side, that ensured quality and timely deliveries. The web application we have built together is used for the exchange of skills, mentoring and solving complex problems in corporate infrastructure (soon it will be available as a SaaS platform).

Functionally, it can be divided into three parts: the exchange of skills, mentoring and Board. Among the implemented functionality these features stand out: Two-way integration with Outlook Online and its Desktop versions, that synchronises requests to meetings with calendars of a sender and a recipient; Smart notification system; Internal messenger; The mechanism of recommendations for the 1st functional part of the web application.

For the Backend development, Exposit engineers used Java, Spring technologies, JPA/Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Graph API. Frontend was built using JavaScript, Angular, HTML5. By the way, we got quality software testing services within the project. Exposit QA managers defined test strategy, planned test efforts, arranged Documentation testing, Functional and UI testing. They analysed test results and timely reported about the platform quality.

Project management was fully arranged from the Exposit’s side. It was always clear who was doing what and they were available to us anytime we had questions. Project Manager demonstrated strong interpersonal and risk management skills whenever issues arose. We had project status calls every week. Moreover, they work super transparently as they share their PM and VCS systems with us, so that we could track progress online.

We were quite impressed with the quality of communication with the Exposit team. It is so easy to be on the same page with them always. We found potential candidates through social media and compared several vendors while checking their references. We requested CVs of potential resources and prices from the final two vendors we shortlisted. Exposit was very fast, had good CVs, and acceptable prices.

They provided front- and backend software development including unit testing and architectural consulting. The team worked on the current system and also made suggestions. Solutions were also implemented to make the product more scalable.

Currently, there are two PHP developers that use Laravel and one frontend developer working on Vue.js. They collaborate with our local developers using a Kanban-like style.

Storyshaker is the key tool that our company needs to provide services to our customers. It’s crucial for us to continuously improve and extend this product.
