Introduce your business and what you do there.

I have a business I started in March. As a fitness consultant, I provide services for people who do not want to go to the gym or to any training facilities. My job is to go to their place and that’s where I train them.

What challenge were you trying to address with Expandify Marketing?

I’m still new in the country and I’m not very adept at social media. As a result, I hired Expandify Marketing to advertise my services since it was still brand new.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We assigned Expandify Marketing to create content for us twice a week to be published on both Instagram and Facebook. Their goal was to make sure that people know that my services were available to them. Basically, we wanted to increase our followers and inquiries.

What is the team composition?

There were two people from Expandify Marketing who worked on our project.

How did you come to work with Expandify Marketing?

I just went online to find marketing companies that specialize in social media. I found about 8–9 companies. At first, no one answered so I kept going down the list on Google and I found Expandify Marketing.

They answered and spoke professionally. They were really willing to help and I decided to see the options they have in the packages. In the end, we chose them and we went about discussing the requirements more in-depth during the second meeting.

How much have you invested with them?

We paid them $1,000–$1,200 CAD (approximately $750–$920 USD) for the project. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership happened during the whole month of August 2020. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The third-party clients gave incredible feedback. Despite the number of my followers being under 300, those that were very active found my posts very enlightening. With Expandify Marketing team’s outputs, I also gained a number of inquiries whenever I place new content on social media. 

Moreover, I had to approve the content they developed and I must say they were all fantastic. They created something really catchy, nice, and fresh. 

How did Expandify Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They were really professional and it showed when they made a small mistake in the content they posted. It was already late when I contacted them and I didn’t expect them to change the mistake on the same night. However, they sorted everything out within just two minutes and that exhibited their commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Overall, Expandify Marketing was really responsive and that’s what made them different. We communicated through emails, texts, and other tools including Zoom. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The best thing about them was they delivered on what they promised. They were cool and laidback too. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there was something they could do better. Perhaps, it was even more of my side who needed improvement in terms of knowing when to engage with them next. In the future, I plan to collaborate with them maybe next month or the month after. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I have absolutely nothing to say except to go for it. They are a company that will really help you out. I even shared Expandify Marketing with my friends who are also business owners. Generally, they are very worth working with and they know what they’re doing.

What challenge were you trying to address with Expandify Marketing?

We were working with a large social media company that wasn’t delivering the services we needed. We wanted a new company to take care of our social media and marketing.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They oversee our LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as our website. They post on a regular basis, often six or seven times a week, they take pictures and videos of all our events, and they keep us up to date on social media. They caught a lot of mistakes from the previous company we worked with, and they corrected a lot of problems as soon as they took over our accounts.

What is the team composition?

We communicate regularly with both owners. They always collaborate with one another, and we speak with each of them equally.

How did you come to work with Expandify Marketing?

The owners are friends of my daughter. She recommended them as a passionate, well-educated agency. I met with them to see what they could deliver, and they made sense for us.

How much have you invested with them?

Not including our ad spending, we've probably spent about $4,000-$7,000 on their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in late 2017, and the collaboration is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re a lot more visible, and our followers and likes are increasing drastically. As of today, we’re three times stronger than we were when they started, and we’re very happy with the work they do.

We see a significant difference at several of our locations. We have a lot of interest coming in and need to make sure we stay up to date. Everyone who gives us feedback on our materials is very impressed, and we're always on top in our market.

How did Expandify Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform very well and reach out to my franchises regularly to help with publicity needs. They’re happy to answer any questions about social media or other advertising, and we speak regularly on the phone or email with them.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their passion, dedication, and ambition are all impressive. They’re very knowledgeable, and they continue to attend seminars with great leaders in their field. My clients are all happy, and so am I.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They will need more experience, but that will come over time. I don’t worry about them, and they're growing alongside our business.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Hire them. They will do a good job and won't let you down. They work hard and will focus on your success.
