EVNE Developers is the primary agency we outsource our development work to now. EVNE handles WordPress, ASP.NET, Ruby on Rails development, and mobile application development as well.

I found EVNE on Upwork. I read through their reviews and looked at their ratings, which were both good. We decided to give EVNE a shot, starting off with a small project. After the delivery of that project, we were so impressed that we decided to give them more work. EVNE Developers now does everything for us.

The overall experience has been excellent with EVNE Developers. Their code is very high-quality, which is reflected in the overall user experience and the load speed of the website. The craftsmanship in the development is very well-thought out, logical, and intuitive. We’ve worked with a ton of different development agencies in the past and had a lot of issues, but EVNE Developers crush it with their top-notch quality and good QA process. They deliver everything on time and code really well. EVNE Developers is an excellent agency.

How did EVNE Developers perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s been a ten out of ten. A big issue in the development world is delivering on time—which they do. EVNE Developers has been known to work weekends and overtime to get projects delivered on the agreed terms. We used JIRA for project management.

• They allocate software developers to our project to meet our specifications in the development of the PAAS platform for health insurance service providers. The engineers worked in collaboration with our in-house team.
• We went through multiple project scoping sessions to define the scope and plan the roadmap; It took a week to get all set up, and then we started from the discovery, and architecture and moved to engineering and testing.
• The process involved project manager and digital security engineer supervision to ensure the quality and stability of the platform and faster integration of the team without additional hindrances.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We actually had an idea of a platform to build up, though required assistance with concept check and proof in terms of design and architecture. They fixed issues and expanded the basic platform concept by implementing several modules with rather unique market features for such kinds of products. The work scope also included database engineering, dashboards for analytics, a user portal, a business representative portal and several other modules.

 The final design was based on the research made during the discovery phase and brought value in terms of user-friendliness and sensitive data protection. The product gathers and evaluates data through APIs in real-time to provide actual information to individuals. It then aggregates users’ data and provides a calculated score based on our proprietary algorithm. The platform also forecasts the reliability of individuals for insurance coverage using separate APIs. 

The overall tasks involved: 

• Ensuring a reliable roadmap with stable deployment periods for the platform; 
• Development of secure and stable product; 
• Prepare the product for scaling according to the target audience requirements.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We haven’t launched yet, so we don’t have any solid data. In terms of quality, our platform user experience stands out among our industry competitors. The three-month period we spent on conceptualizing the logic and operative flow of the solution was definitely worth it. As for the development stage, the agile approach and control of the quality of the code made the platform solid and stable available to run more than 70 thousand separate server requests at a time.

Their project manager is very proactive and stays on top of things which can be seen through weekly meetings. We did not have to remind them about tasks — they took the initiative and brought up ideas on the platform, its structure, logic and representation. The initial work plan was rather precise and we had no rush or missed deadlines. There’s always an excellent collaboration because they accommodate when we need a change with invoicing or other related aspects.

We’re really impressed with the results so far. They adjust quickly, communicate responsively, and work diligently. Their business-oriented approach allows creation of the effective platforms that truly drive business up and bring new profits. 

The team presents rather not the tool, but the solution for user needs and requests that empower the businesses. One of the most striking things is the discovery stage which brought a clear vision of the platform identity, structure and development roadmap.

Are there any areas for improvement or something EVNE Developers, LLC could have done differently?

When we had a project start, they may not immediately provide the resources we need right away, but after a week or two we had everything we needed to build a solid solution. Once they engage with us, there are no issues with timing or deadlines.
