I’m the CEO of Relationship Unlimited. We specialize in building and supporting world-class solutions on the Salesforce platform. We’re also a registered partner of Salesforce.

What challenge were you trying to address with Eternus Solutions?

We’ve hired them for many projects over the years, but I’ll focus on one assignment for the sake of the review. We hired them to assist in the development of a Salesforce system for a large automobile manufacturer.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our client’s previous provider had inundated their system with bugs. Eternus Solutions is currently working their way through over 700 Jira tickets to develop a salesforce system free of issues. They consistently complete around 100 tickets each month. It’s an ongoing process.

What is the team composition?

They’ve allocated a team consisting of 10 resources. This includes tech leads, project managers, business analysts, developers, and QA testers.

How did you come to work with Eternus Solutions?

The company was growing quickly at the time and we needed a firm with the development resources available to fit our needs. Eternus Solutions’ depth of resources made them stand out from similar firms. I met their CEO and we became friends. Considering their developers are certified by Salesforce, hiring them was an easy decision.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend tens of thousands of dollars each month for their services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in 2010 and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve worked with Eternus Solutions on hundreds of projects over nearly a decade. The one constant in our various experiences with them is customer success. They always deliver products that satisfy our clients.

How did Eternus Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

They utilize effective project management methodologies and systems. As a result, they run an organized project and complete everything on schedule.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They work harder than other companies. It’s almost like they have more hours in the day than everyone else.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would help if they improved the language skills of their associate-level employees.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the founder of OutsidetheboX Ventures (OTBVentures), LLC. In addition to helping individuals develop their businesses, we execute entrepreneurial projects, one of which is a mobile app called AVATXT.

For what projects/services did your company hire Eternus Solutions?

AVATXT is an Android app that allows users to convert text messages into speech and vice versa. We approached Eternus Solutions to integrate Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services and fix performance issues.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to integrate Cognitive Services, enhance app performance, and add new features.

How did you select this vendor?

A colleague recommended me to another tech company who, in turn, referred me to Eternus Solutions.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Aside from integrating Microsoft Azure APIs and Cognitive Services into our app, we needed their team to add key functions and boost our competitive appeal. For the latest functionality, we developed a translator that could auto-detect languages.

What was the team composition?

We worked with numerous team members, including project directors, managers, and chiefs, though it seemed like they only assigned a single developer. The staff was inconsistent and rotated frequently.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Not only did the team not complete the work at hand, they misled us about the Azure service integration. They were ambiguous about their technical capabilities and frequently made costly mistakes. After their involvement, our messaging function no longer worked. Furthermore, we have reason to believe that they leaked our private information and shared our translation technology.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Shifts in project management caused a lot of confusion as new, inexperienced staff joined the project. Overall, we were upset with their lack of professionalism. They modified the project scope, charged us for their errors, and weren’t communicative. In some cases, team members would go on holiday without informing us.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I initially appreciated their low cost, but, with all of the development issues, we ended up spending more. We also had a good experience with their development work but only to a certain extent.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

Beyond simply completing the project, they should take responsibility for their own errors rather than charging us for them. App development involves more than just producing an Android package kit (APK). Moreover, they need to be transparent with the client, especially regarding critical information such as store keys, server use, and API calls.
