BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the founder and CEO of One Click Code, a B2B firm working in the insurance technology and construction sector. Our software automates the estimation process for construction, specifically around the exteriors of residential properties such as roofing, sidings, gutters, and more.

For insurance companies, we sell to them because they estimate and pay about 3 million exterior projects per year. As a result, they’re a very large industry that is looking for automation.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with estound?

We hired estound to handle our paid search and marketing strategies because we were trying to figure out the best ways for us to be able to increase our top funnel.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We worked with the team to identify search terms. They also managed our SEO and Google Ads. Overall, they came up with campaigns in order to help us drive more traffic to our website and increase our app downloads.

We collaborated with estound’s owner and two account managers.

How did you come to work with estound?

A business acquaintance referred them. We saw that they had a really good reputation, and they worked with a lot of really cool brands that were based out of Denver.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $45,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from December 2019–June 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were able to increase our site traffic by roughly around 40% over the course of 14 months.

How did estound perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed very well from a project management standpoint. We communicated through Zoom, Slack, and in person.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their creativity was impressive; they always found different ways to maximize our search opportunities. On top of that, they utilized best practices and enhanced them during our engagement. They didn’t give us a one size fits all solution. Instead, they really catered to what our company needed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Perhaps, they should’ve slowed down a little bit during the audit and really dug deeper into where we were heading in the long run. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You’ll get what you put in. In connection with that, it’s great if you have stand-up calls once a week just to see how they’re doing. Find ways to help them increase their creativity so that they can do so much more.
