I’m the CEO and president of New School Center for Media. Formed in 1973, we’re an educational corporation for a proprietary school.

Although we have an in-house IT resource, we needed a developer who could develop and maintain our website.

Escope designed and developed our original website from scratch, working seamlessly with both myself and my team. We were going for a high-tech look, so they proposed several options for us to choose from and moved forward based on our vision. Over the years, they’ve continued to maintain the site, making adjustments as needed.

They’re very cost-effective. The initial development was $2,000, and we pay them by the hour for additional changes.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can’t say enough about the quality of their work. Jawahar’s recommendations are always very productive, offering key insights on how to present the website and adapt it to various devices.

He’s also extremely responsive to our requests. Although there’s a large time difference between our locations, Jawahar handles of our requests by the next day. He’s such a capable developer that I’ve contracted him to develop a site for another company I own.

How did Escope perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re easy to communicate with, and the project management has been stellar. Initially, we communicated daily through Skype to sort out the project details but have since transitioned to email chains. Whenever we want to make a change, we gather our requests into a comprehensive email so that Jawahar can quickly and efficiently tackle our needs.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their price structure, performance, and quality of workmanship truly stand out. I particularly appreciate Jawahar’s overall knowledge and attention to detail. Not only is he a dedicated professional, but he’s also a gentleman, and I enjoy working with him.

No, I can’t think of anything that they could improve upon, and I don’t say that often.

As with any vendor, the better you can identify your needs and limit scope changes, the better the outcome. They’re a highly organized team that will strive to meet your goals, so it’s important to be organized.

Jay was an effective project manager.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Jay is very responsive and keen to please, making sure that each task is completed to his client’s satisfaction. He’s fine with doing multiple rounds of revisions, all within reason, though.

Jay can be a little defensive at times when being critical of his work, but he generally accepts feedback and works hard to ensure that his clients are fully satisfied.
