BACKGROUND

Could you provide a brief description of your company and your role there?

We are an eDiscovery company. We field services into law firms and corporate legal departments. We have tools that help them pull down the amount of information that they have to review during discovery and litigation. We are located in Austin, Texas. We have about 110 employees.

What’s your role and responsibilities in the company?

I’m vice president of marketing. I manage the strategy of all the day-to-day marketing activities.

Could you describe the business challenges you were trying to address?

I reached out to them for a postcard project in order to invite people to a trade show activity.

SOLUTION

Could you describe the scope of the project?

We had an idea of something that we would like to see for the postcard. What they’re great at is taking an idea taking it to a completely different level and putting together something that really jumps out as very professional and sophisticated.

They redid all of our trade show graphics. We had purchased a new hardware for our trade show booth, and they had put together these graphics for us. They took and old concept and took it to a completely new level. I remember when I got the first draft of what they did and I thought, wow, this is ten times better than what we had. I showed it to a couple of people here and everybody loved it.

How did you select Envision Creative Group as your solution partner?

I felt, right off the bat, that they were very client focused. I’ve worked with other agencies that seemed to be more about themselves or what they think is right rather than really understanding the client’s goals and what the client would like. They have always been very good about taking the time to understand that and not just jump to conclusions.

The client service there is one of the best that I’ve ever seen, working with a lot of different vendors in different areas. They take the time to work with you. They don’t try to nickel and dime, they just really want to understand and really want to help their client. That was something that jumped out at me from the beginning. I think they do a tremendous job from a graphics standpoint and I really felt like their client service was incredible.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in monetary terms or work-hour figure?

I think the trade show graphics might have been $3,500 or $5,000. The postcard was a couple of thousand.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

In terms of results, could you share any statistics, metrics, or user feedback that would demonstrate the effectiveness of the work they’ve delivered?

I got some great feedback internally from people here. When we did the post card and I sent it around, I got comments from people like, “Oh, wow, this is awesome. This is one of the best,” It was the best they had seen. The trade show graphics, everybody that I showed those to felt that it elevated what we were trying to accomplish.

How well do you think Envision Creative Group performed overall?

They’re excellent. I highly recommend them. I really enjoy working with them.

When working with Envision Creative Group, is there anything you’d consider unique or special about them that distinguishes them from other vendors you’ve used?

I think their client service is extremely special, they really try to understand what the client is trying to accomplish. They take the time to work with you. They do a couple of concepts, get your feedback, and then roll that into another concept if you need another one. Usually by that second round, I have exactly what I’m looking for.

Could you describe your company?

We are located out of Texas, and we’re a hotel brand company. We conjure up new hotel designs and brands, and we get them built and launched.

What’s your role and your responsibilities with your company?

I’m the founder and CEO.

What was the business challenge that you’re trying to address before you sought help from Envision Creative Group?

We wanted to be as good as or better than the existing brands and improve our overall brand identity, we wanted to measure up our marketing products with the established brands.

What were your company’s business goals for the project?

Our goal was to create a better brand and expand to other markets. Additionally we wanted to be an independent brand that provides support and services for the ownership group.  

SOLUTION

Can you talk a little bit more about the scope of the project?

Envision Creative was brought on board to provide logo design, website design, and help us with all of our marketing materials and all our in-room collaterals. They also built magazine advertising. Everything on the design side was handled by them and continues to be handled by them.

What was your process for selecting Envision with which to work?

They were recognized in Austin as a young, entrepreneurial group. I contacted them, met with them, and had several rounds of discovery meetings where we spoke about my vision, their vision, and how they worked. We concluded that we were comfortable with what they could deliver and we felt that they were up to the challenge.

Can you give us a sense of the cost of the project that they did for you?

About $40,000.

Can you tell me when the project was started and when it was completed?

The project started around the early part of 2011 with the majority of the scope of the work completed in the last part of 2013 to early 2014. There is ongoing work that continues today.

In terms of results and feedback, do you have any specific improvements you can share from the project?

The response from the public has been amazingly positive. They have made us look extremely competitive with the work that they’ve done.

How well do you think Envision has performed overall?

Excellent. Above and beyond what we had ever imagined.

When working with Envision Creative Group, was there anything unique or special about them compared to other companies you’ve worked with in the past?

They are a happy group of people, amazingly creative, extremely client conscious, and project conscious. Very bright.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

My business partner and I hired Envision Creative to do our branding and MSAP for Fabled Luxury Group. They exceeded my expectations in every way (and I'm not easy to please.) They really listened to us and were completely on the ball. They cared and are consummate professionals. We ended up with something surprising and absolutely inspiring. I could not be happier with their work and will continue to use their services.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective!

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were delightful to work with and really listened to what we wanted. We got more than what we wanted, and our logo and brand were inspiring. We have a clear map of how to achieve our goals.
