Our joint work was separated into two parts. At first, we designed the UI and UX together during several workshops. The Enlight DS immensely helped us with how the software should look for the best user experience and usability. They built a prototype in Figma, and made some user interviews to test it.

After their results, we iterated and finished our prototype. Following this, we could start the software development, where the responsibility of the Enlight DS was the front end development. They also made us a landing page in the early phase.

During the project, the critical points were the chart and map visualization, but the Enlight DS solved it perfectly.

They always delivered all the needed items on time. During the work, we were responsible for the back end development, and after they got the necessary input items, they could deliver their items. If we had any issue with the front end, they fixed it in a few hours or days.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The joint work with them was very smooth. Their work culture was similar to ours, if we sent or asked sg. in the evening, they answered us. They also helped us a lot with different topics in which they have more experience, like data analysis, testing, etc.

Are there any areas for improvement or something {provider_name} could have done differently?

Currently nothing. During these 7 months, there was nothing, that we couldn't solve togehter.

I am the CEO of Voovo, an educational application that helps students to absorb loads of difficult information quickly by creating the fastest way to make flashcards.

For what projects/services did your company hire Enlight Digital Studio, and what were your goals?

We had an idea to create flashcards faster but with no technological background we could not even start. Furthermore, we wanted to create a successful startup from scratch with no real experience in company management or finances.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Enlight helped us with the following:

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

They designed and developed our innovative flashcard application. First, they created a POC app to validate the two key features in our app: diagram cards and spaced repetition algorithm; both of them were using an outside library. After the first demo, we agreed upon further UX and UI improvements and the wireframe of the app.

From that point, the core work started, and they delivered the app right on time. Furthermore in the beginning we had no idea which stack and technologies we should use. They did the research and advised us to start with Firebase and Flutter, which is proving to be a great choice ever since.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were 4 people working with me, but I only really had communication with 2. Since I had no technological experience, I only needed to hear the financials and the project management details. Enlight took care of all technological problems, so I had no reason to talk frequently to the two developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We were able to launch and quickly acquire our first users, since then we have over 30.000 registered users and with Enlight's financial help we could raise our pre-seed round.

Strict and measurable milestones with pre-defined timelines. Email and phone communication with a shared view of the project management software to see the development progress.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was impressed by their precision and openness to adapt and iterate according to the client's needs while being definite on subjects that they were experts in. A great balance overall.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

After my first experience with Enlight, I could not think of anything, However, since then I collaborated with them on another startup project with another application and I see great improvements in many areas, including communication skills and UX UI expertise. From this, I could tell that they are always looking for areas to improve in and that should be acknowledged.
