Again, Elinext was responsible for designing and developing a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android that would allow users to control mini-drones via on-screen joysticks and an external gamepad. The scope included implementing real-time video streaming from the drone’s Wi-Fi camera, media capture (photos/videos), VR mode compatibility using Google VR SDK, and social media integration for live streaming to YouTube and Facebook. As well as handling firmware update functionality for the drone, camera, and gamepad, as well as device recognition and automatic reconnection features. Additionally, they ensured stable connectivity via BLE and Wi-Fi, and delivered a seamless user interface for both manual and VR-based control modes.

The project resulted in a fully functional drone control app available on both Android and iOS platforms. Users are able to control drones using on-screen joysticks or a Bluetooth-enabled gamepad, stream real-time video from the drone’s Wi-Fi camera, and record or take photos during flight. Key features like VR mode, social media streaming (YouTube/Facebook), and automatic device recognition were successfully implemented. Firmware updates for the drone, gamepad, and camera are also supported in the app.

Their work spanned both frontend and backend  that aligned with our Agile processes.

The number of contractors signing up and subscribing to our platform kept growing. The site assessment feature made it easier for contractors to work remotely, especially during the pandemic, which really helped us keep things moving. The lead management system helped us reduce delays, and the integration with financial services made it easier for homeowners to get financing. All in all, these outcomes improved efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction that we certainly want to highlight.
