Our company bringing one of the leading European probiotic supplement brands to the US market. Our high performance probiotic blends are targeted at stress, immunity, prenatal/infant health, and more.

Our products are rooted in extensive research, testing and controlled clinical studies. We have a deep understanding of probiotic strain significance, how our strains perform synergistically for specific health outcomes, and we pair this with a highly effective delivery system. 

As a Chief Operating Officer I manage and oversee all business operations. 

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with the vendor?

We hired Element8 Design to help us update, improve, and build out our company website. This included changing the site map, changing design elements across the website, adding entire sections including forms to fill out for lead gen.

Once this project was completed, we continued to work with Elemenent8 on our ongoing and growing website development needs. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

We started with a kickoff meeting to discuss the vision and intended structure for our website. Weekly deliverables, design ideas and new tasks were tracked via Trello. We also had biweekly calls with Element8 Design to review progress, discuss ideas and next steps. 

What is the team composition? 

We mainly worked with Quinton, the CEO. Quinton then assigned the work within his team. 

How did you come to work with the vendor?

We searched online for web developers. After interviewing several candidates, Element8 Design stood out for their clear expertise, willingness to help solve problems, and ability to deliver our web development project on a very tight timeline. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We initially hired Element8 Design to help us enhance and build out our existing website. Once this project was completed, we asked if they could stay on to support our growing, ongoing website development needs.

Element8 Design has been an invaluable resource to our company ever since. They do so in a very responsive, timely manner, always willing to offer their expert advice and guidance and clearly communicating timelines and expectations.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement

Element8 Design helped us bring the vision for our updated website into reality in a very short time frame. This earned us very positive feedback from customers, improved website navigation and customer experience, and gave our customers a better and quicker understanding for our products and why we’re different. 

How did the vendor perform from a project management standpoint?

Excellent! They delivered high quality work and expert advice in a reliable, timely manner that exceeded our expectations. 

They are very responsive, clearly communicated timelines and deliverables, alerted us when there were any questions or issues, and always offered their expert advice when needed. Communication via email and Trello project management tool was seamless, and they were quick to respond to any questions or inquiries from our end. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Deep expertise in all things web development. Always willing to share their expert knowledge and assessment of a specific web development task or decision at hand. They really act as thought partners for us!

I am a sole proprietor as a Professional Organizer in California. My services include home and business organizing services as well as unpacking services.

I hired Element 8 to upgrade and redesign my business website to be consistent with my brand identity.

What were your goals for this project?

I just renewed my business branding and wanted my website to incorporate the new logo and color scheme. In addition, I wanted a designer to take all of my information, make it cohesive and present it in a simple, organized and professional manner that reflects my business style.

How did you select Element 8?

I began my search locally asking friends and busineses for recommendations; ultimately I posted an ad online and found Quinton at Element 8.

I narrowed down my search to 3 vendors but Quinton was an easy pick because of his expert portfolio, 5-star reviews, and video introduction which helped me get to know him even though we were on opposite sides of the nation. I was sold on his work which was professional, appealing, diverse, creative and top-notch.

Quinton was quick to understand my objectives for my new website and explained why the platform I was currently using was not sufficient. He suggested a new platform and designed a site that illustrated the vibe I was looking for.

I provided the content and Quinton selected appropriate graphics, photo images, page layouts and functions; he incorporated my new branding and the features I requested and sent me drafts for review and feedback. Quinton was responsible for the complete redesign of my website.

Quinton was the sole designer on this job.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I have just launched my new website so it's too early to report any metrics. What I can say is: now all of my online media and print advertising materials are consistent with my new branding and all sales and marketing efforts direct potential customers to my website as a contact point.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

From the start, communication was easy. Quinton listened and understood my goals and quickly provided options, expectations and a timeline. We mainly messaged and emailed information; Quinton was quick to respond, was friendly and professional and got things done in a timely manner.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The first thing that impressed me was Element 8's professional and diverse portfolio. Their websites are eye-catching top notch designs; I saw features that I wanted in my own website.

The second thing that impressed me was a video introduction where I got to hear the designer, Quinton, tell me a little bit about himself. I liked the creative idea of the video as well as his personality, confidence and obvious talent.

Lastly, talking with Quinton more about my project goals sealed the deal, because he was a good listener, experienced in his trade, and I could tell he was more than capable of getting the job done. He asked questions to better understand what direction I wanted to go with my website which helped me better articulate my overall goals.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Element 8 exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend them. I honestly do not see any area that needs improvement. Just keep it up!

I hired Quinton to make a website from scratch. My goals were to have an aesthetically appealing platform that is very simple to the end user/can help drive traffic due to its ease of use and aesthetic appeal.

I had over 25 website designers reach out to me wanting to work with me.

There were several things that led me to choosing Quinton: First, when he reached out he did the best job of making it easy to see his previous work (and the work was really good), explaining his credentials, and outlining what motivated him.

After our initial conversation (I had an initial conversation with four designers), I chose Quinton because he seemed the most genuine to want to help me achieve what it was I wanted vs. having his/her own agenda. He was great at building rapport from the start.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

First - what was most impressive about Quinton is that I didn't know exactly what it was I wanted. I had a general idea or vision, but what made Quinton special is a communicated to him in vague terms what I wanted, and he turned my vision into a reality using his creativity and talents.

His end product exceeded what I expected - I'm very happy with it!

Very communicative - he was never inaccessible, he offered much of his expertise, he is conscientious and was always thinking about me as the consumer. His communication was great.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I explained above - his ability to turn a vague vision into an amazing product. Additionally, he put attention to building a good relationship with me which was key.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Honestly, I've been so pleased with Element 8 I don't have much to add here.

I am the founder and CEO of The Palacio Group. We are division product development company serving several different markets, including luxury products, consumer products, and home fitness equipment.

For what projects/services did your company hire Element 8?

We needed a custom-built e-commerce-enabled website luxury brand launch, Palacio International. We were on a very tight schedule and needed a very skilled designer who could work through several iterations of the design with feedback from us.

In addition to this original project, we also hired Element 8 to follow-up custom-built hub site for our parent company, The Palácio Group.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted a beautiful-looking, custom-built site with a certain feel, the feel of luxury. We also wanted e-commerce capability.

Finally, we wanted to easily add products as we grow. Element 8 knocked it out of the park!

What was the team composition?

Element 8 has a strong team for certain. Fortunately, we were able to work directly with the Director, Quinton. He devoted his many years of expertise directly to us and that was a great privilege for us.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

When we launched the site, we had immediate positive comments on the beauty and layout of the site that Element 8 constructed for us.

We made some post-launch modifications and Element always implemented them with superb and quick execution.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Element 8 is expert in this area, among other areas of their expertise. I would describe the workflow as seamless.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were blown away by the deep knowledge that Element 8 has in web site creation, e-commerce optimization, artistic and graphic keen eyes, rapid turn-around, an eye toward budget, and a cooperative, collaborative approach.

We are a new brokerage that opened in 2020. We needed to design a website from the ground up and integrate IDX feeds. Goals: simple, functional, aesthetically pleasing site to stand out in a competitive market.

After interviewing multiple firms we went with Element 8 due to their breadth of knowledge, communication skills, ability, and by looking at past work that hey had done.

Element 8 delivered on every action item that we outlined in our initial meetings. They utilized their expertise and design sense to add valuable input during the process as they had a clear vision of what our goal was and how to achieve it. The communication and response time was invaluable to our experience.

They were always right on time with deliverables due at every stage of the process, they well organized and spoke to us at our knowledge level so that we were always clear with the what and why things were being done.

That they really are the whole package: they had the technical abilities, fantastic graphics skills, timeliness, and top-notch communication.
