• We hired EL Passion to undertake a comprehensive redesign of our cafeteria platform. The work included modernizing the platform, enhancing its functionalities, and tailoring it for two key personas: HR department representatives and end-users. One of the key objectives was making the platform highly customizable for our clients and helping promote one of our core company values of responsible consumption.

The scope of work with EL Passion was extensive and began with a two-day workshop. During this collaborative session, we defined the functionalities of the new platform version, prioritized features for the initial project phase, and developed a detailed list of functionalities. Additionally, EL Passion facilitated the creation of a Customer Journey Map, analyzing the user experience in the most critical part of the product. Designers worked on developing the design system using Figma.

Measurable outcomes from the project included screens of a fully redesigned platform with improved user experience, enhanced customization options, and the successful integration of responsible consumption features. These outcomes directly aligned with our predefined business goals.

ELP helped us create a new company website. The work consisted of designing the website design (based on a very modest brand book) and key functionalities for our company (such as a blog module, analytics, and integration with CRM). ELP then started coding the website. The end of the project was a short training in the use of the webflow system and the handover of the project. We managed to complete everything within an ambitious deadline of two weeks.

Generally, I am satisfied with the cooperation. A starter kit could be helpful for people/companies who are not technologically prepared to operate a website or have technical conversations about solutions.

My company offers a peer-to-peer app for individuals who travel to meet each other and provide financial services to one another.

For what projects/services did your company hire EL Passion, and what were your goals?

I wanted to develop an app which would be the main product of our company. After screening for potential companies to produce the app, I came across El Passion. The goals were to fully design the UX interface and designs of the full app as well as test its functionalities and ensure that all screens were produced.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I shortlisted 5 vendors based on reviews and speed of responses received via e-mail. By far, El Passion seemed to be the most professional, caring and interested vendor in taking our project forward. Calls were organized seamlessly and everything occurred very well prior to contracting their services.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The scope of the work included designing native iOS and Android apps with push notifications, messaging system, financial data, profile pages as well as connectivity with key existing APIs. We worked using Sketch, InVision and Slack for communication. I was very much impressed with all aspects of the process with El Passion.

There were two members of the design team, if I am not mistaken as well as one member of the UI team. We also had help from a member of Customer Service which was always available to help us.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The app was not launched yet, so we cannot measure metrics such as App Store ratings or downloads, but in terms of satisfaction of working with El Passion, I am very much satisfied. El Passion is a company I look forward to working with again for their dedication, professionalism, and availability throughout the project. This was the best outcome!

Timeliness is definitely a positive factor for El Passion. They were always quick in their responses and always demonstrating active listening skills and listening to their customers. We worked a lot with Slack for communication as well as Google Meet for video meetings when needed. I also liked the way EP used Trello to keep track of milestones and ensure all aspects of the project were executed well.

Everything! From customer service to full handover of the project, El Passion was always demonstrating care and professionalism throughout the project.

El Passion was given very high level sketches and an explanation of what we wanted to create and who our target user group are in an intro workshop. They quickly understood our business concept and the important key factors when developing our UI/UX. After that their designer worked on our project for 3 weeks with weekly sync meetings with me. First they created wireframes which then were turned into the actual design and made interactive in the final stage.

We had one designer dedicated to our project, but El Passions design lead coordinated our project and worked closely with our designer in the process.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are very happy with the result we have received. In this project we were working with a very limited budget (as early-phase startups often do) and we therefore split our feature list into a must-have and nice-to-have when we started working on the project. El Passion even managed to complete design for the nice-to-have features. I am very impressed with what they have achieved in a short amount of time on a limited budget.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We found El Passion to be very effective in communcation. We did weekly sync meetings, but we rarely needed more than 30-40 minutes. They always came well prepared and swiftly handled all my questions and the necessary adjustments. They were also always available on slack, even sometimes outside of business hours.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to quickly understand my business concept and target group makes them very effective to work with. This is helpful both in saving time and money and to achieve the best possible result.

The project was a success, and our new website and branding is live and effective.
