In our solution, users would be allowed to engage with GPU-heavy experiences in their browsers using the cloud. We had multiple use cases for this in mind therefore it needed to be versatile. Each user would experience this in a unique session, rather than a shared space for all users. The web app was created using NodeJS and HTML, both technologies that Ekkel displayed expertise in.

The experience was rendered and operated using Unreal Engine, which made the project cutting edge thanks to the powerful technology of Unreal Engine. Ekkel also came up with a unique solution for our GPU usage within AWS servers, so we were able to host this service over the cloud with a managed cost. Ekkel also used Socket and WebRTC to establish connection externally and internally for the platform.

Our mobile app has two modules. The first module was the post creation module. For the Front-end part and post creation Ekkel used Ionic. We were pleased with the overall aesthetic as well as the simple and clean UI of the application itself.

The backend development was done on Nest.JS and ExpressJS, while the database was created using MongoDB. There was an AI component involved that was created by Ekkel using PyTorch and HuggingFace, and was deployed on AWS. The overall technology we used has a pending patent.

We’re confident that we can move forward with our idea based on Ekkel’s work. Our application is great at detecting and flagging any hate speech. Thanks to Ekkel and our application, social media will be a safer and more inclusive experience for all. Public figures will benefit greatly because they have to hire a dedicated staff for this purpose, but we will now have an app that can achieve the same goal with round-the-clock availability.

BreakThru Analytics was designed as a Single Page Web App with an AI module. Ekkel developed the frontend using ReactJS, and they used NodeJS, Python, and Fast API for the backend. The AI module was developed using InstructGPT, an application from the popular ChatGPT.

The database used was MongoDB, and the DB cache employed was Redis. The reason for using InstructGPT AI was to provide the latest technology available to students. It would reduce the time needed to spend on research and allow students to quicken the application process.

Along the whole process, a representative of the sales team is part on the conversations and ensures client success.

We wanted to create an NFT marketplace where users would be able to mint and buy NFTs. This would be based on the Ethereum blockchain technology. Our goal was to allow users to re-sell NFTs on third-party marketplaces as well. It was important to us that the web app was accessible via mobile.

Ekkel had significant experience working on blockchain and Ethereum in particular. Their team felt right and we’re pleased with our choice.

The web application needed to be designed on Web 3.0 and would use the Ethereum blockchain to enable users to mint NFTs at no cost. The NFTs would be made using AI-generated images and displayed as Web 2.0 images. The only charges would be the gas prices. The next phase was to enable re-selling on third-party marketplaces.

The user profiles would be live so others could view their NFT collection. We required end-to-end development of the web app including UI/UX design, backend, and training of the AI model. The tech stack used for this project included Ether.JS, ReactJS, NestJS, and MongoDB.

I’m the CEO of a blockchain technology company. We have a blockchain and crypto exchange platform. We’re solving the problem of slow transactions on Ethereum, and with the exchange, we help onboard new businesses to the crypto markets by offering simplified centralized and decentralized finance together.

What challenge were you trying to address with Ekkel AI?

We wanted to shift from a native block explorer to a more in-depth block explorer in partnership with Blockscout.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Ekkel AI has helped us set up the script for the block explorer it and shift it to a more in-depth block explorer. They’ve also helped make our crypto exchange unique and more straightforward for new users. The crypto exchange was initially built by Chinese developers; Ekkel AI has simplified the centralized and decentralized finance and fused it together, so we call it Fusion X.

Additionally, they’ve built another part of the exchange completely from scratch. This part contains a decentralized NFT marketplace, a decentralized dashboard, and a decentralized app browser that brings together hundreds of applications on different blockchains.

The technologies used for the block explorer include an Elixir programming language. For the exchange, Ekkel AI has used Web3, Node.js, Wallet Connect, Vue.js, and Eggjs. They also handle our Node.js and validator infrastructure.

What is the team composition?

We work with around 11 developers. Our main point of contact is Ahsan (CEO); he’s one of the co-founders and also acts as the project manager.

I made a job post looking for blockchain developers and met them on Upwork.

We started around February 2022, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The block explorer has helped make our blockchain more open, eventually increasing our users. We launched on June 15th, 2022, and currently have around 27,000 active users. Moreover, the block explorer can now process over 1 million requests in a second and show transactions that happened on the first day it became live. We’ve processed about 200,000 transactions and have over 100 developers and big companies building applications on our blockchain. 

All in all, the partnership is smooth, which is why it has continued.

How did Ekkel AI perform from a project management standpoint?

They perform well and deliver on time. Communication is great; we have about seven Slack channels for different tasks, so we typically interact there. Additionally, we use Asana and monday.com for project management.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their reporting system and project management skills are outstanding. They’re very well-organized. Overall, Ekkel AI has a great team; they’re brilliant people. They understand requirements and are always able to execute the most complex workloads.

At one point, they didn’t have good designers, so we had to use our own designers to handle some things.

With all the various AI content generation tools available, we wanted to set ourselves apart by enhancing the quality of the generative text content. Our primary user base was intended to be high school and college students who could not submit GPT-generated responses as they would be flagged by various plagiarism and ai-detection tools.

We set out to solve this problem and create a platform where users would be able to check how artificial their content was and then refine it to a version that could not be flagged by any detection tool.
