The Scope Of Works that were delivered by eight engines for our charity video was to showcase our brand new race cars being driven by people with disabilities around a race circuit and the impact of this unique driving experience. Eight Engines successfully produced stunning cinematic footage of these cars in action enabling us to tell our story of how our driving activity actually is more than a driving experience because of the ripple effect it is hugely impactful on friends and family members and also on a growing number of volunteers who just love being involved in helping the charity deliver an all round first class driving experience like no other. This content will help the charity gain more interest from business who actively engage with Environmental Social Governance impact  with a view to partnering with Speed of Sight

            1.         Event Filming and Content Capture:

Race Cars in Action: Footage of the new race cars on track, highlighting their performance and accessibility.

            •           Participant Driving Experiences: Document each guest driver (who may be blind or have other disabilities) in action. Capture close-ups of their reactions, expressions, and interactions before, during, and after the driving experience.

            •           On-the-Spot Feedback from Participants: Interview guest drivers to capture authentic, in-the-moment reactions. Questions will focus on:

            •           The emotional impact of driving on track.

            •           What the experience personally means to them.

            •           Friends, Family, and Support Network Reactions: Interviews and reaction shots from attendees, including friends and family of participants, to showcase how these experiences impact their loved ones and their perspective on inclusivity.

            •           Volunteer Testimonials: Interviews with volunteers, emphasising why they are passionate about supporting Speed of Sight, the fulfilment they gain from these experiences, and their unique perspective on the organisation’s mission.

           2.         ESG-Centric Messaging for Business Audiences:

            •           Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Value Highlight: Create targeted messaging that appeals to businesses and aligns Speed of Sight’s mission with corporate ESG goals. Highlight how partnering with Speed of Sight can make a meaningful social impact.

            •           Narrative Development for Business Impact: Craft a compelling narrative that emphasises Speed of Sight’s role in promoting inclusivity, accessibility, and social change. The measurable outcomes for the Speed of Sight showcase film aim to assess the success of the project in engaging and inspiring viewers, driving partnerships, and boosting the visibility and impact of Speed of Sight’s mission. The key measurable outcomes include:

Increased Corporate Partnerships and Sponsorships

        •           Goal: Secure at least three new corporate partners or sponsors within six months of film release.

            •           Measurement: Track the number of inbound inquiries and conversion rate of businesses expressing interest in partnership or sponsorship after viewing the film.

            •           Target Audience Engagement: Identify specific corporations aligned with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals and measure engagement (e.g., meeting requests, event invitations) following the film’s distribution to these prospects.

Capture video and imagery of six members of a charity called The Electric Cranks. The members took part in a 125 mile coast-to-coast bike ride whilst fitted with LVAD (electric heart pumps) which means they no natural heartbeat. They wanted to raise awareness of organ donation whilst raising £10k for New Start charity, which supports transplant patients at Wynthenshawe Hospital by riaising the funds need to provide high-level, long-term, after care needs. The images and footage were shared with media outlets as part of a PR approach, and also used for our client's promotional team and marketing assets.

The footage was used as expected, as both b-roll in BBC coverage of the project, images in The Times and regional newspapers, and as part of the client's marketing assets.

We were really happy with the physical outcome, the footage.

Importantly though, the process for us as an agency was smooth and we benefited greatly from 8 Engine's expertise.

Our client wanted to produce a series of videos to promote their new staff uniform. They wanted to present them in a fun and engaging way, and shared social media style inspiration but wanted them filmed to a higher quality. We had a day to film x40 pieces of uniform, and then turn these around quickly into a series of videos focusing on each uniform item. This involved logistics planning, a timing plan, efficiency and time management on the day, and a tight turn around on the edit.

Measurement was done through our client so we don't have access to this. But to highlight the team delivered the project on time, was responsive and quick to react to any amends from the client. The client was very complimentary of the project process and output.

We hired Eight Engines to film an in-person new business clinic we were hosting in London. We wanted the talks filmed so that we could add them to our member's hub so those who couldn't get a ticket could watch it back.

We also wanted them to get some atmospheric stills of the event and capture the atmosphere of the event on camera to create a short reel to help us promote events in the future.

We produced a video with Dom, where he revisited his massive phone sketch from the noughties, to raise awarneess of presbyopia. The comedic nature of the short film, combined with the nostalgia of its reaching-glasses-wearing-age audience, helped to make eye health an engaging topic.

The film was extremely well recieved by the audience, who walked away knowing more about presbyopia.

As part of the roll out of the Bee Network's new tone of voice (during my role as head of brand at TfGM) we needed to make sure that the colleagues felt part of the journey and really understood the new principles and how to use the TOV in their every day roles. 
Eight Engines helped us to conceptualise the video, storyboard and build the script, worked with us to find the best locations in the building and really put colleagues at ease during the filming process. They delivered an amazing end result which was used across the internal estate from e-newsletters to TV screens and showcased at colleague away days.

They also edited the film and responded swiftly and well to our edit requirements, resulting in a powerful video which has been well received by our team.

The final film shows the narrative we were hoping to achieve in a glossy, informative and easy to consume way. We are very happy with the outcome which showcases our capabilities strongly. We are looking to launch our video as part of a major comms plan in 2025 but it was been extremely well received internally, with particular comments on the visuals, the edit and the talent who was encouraged to do a great job at every stage.

Eight engines filmed a fit out from start to finish in the middle of the night showcasing the teams methodology and execution on an escalator project. The aim was to create a video bringing the company to market and pushing the teams attitude and culture through the video with use of interviews and product images.

We had 7,000 views on our company account within 12 hours of releasing the video. For a start up company that was a great success

The off the cuff questioning on the night was very good to bring out any natural response and body language to the project. However, one or two questions could have been scripted so we could have planned a slightly more constructed answer that would then be used in the Final Cut.
