I'm the co-founder and VP of sales in the company. We provide dedicated developers for companies who are looking for dedicated teams. Our clients are from the UK and USA, so they want quality in the features or the product delivered.

What challenge were you trying to address with EGGHEAD Experts?

We’re in the same industry, but we didn’t have this kind of large team, so we were looking for front- and backend dedicated developers. We hired them to deliver mobile app development projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

EGGHEAD Experts develops mobile and web apps and their backend. We’re currently developing two projects, which are on-demand applications trained for food delivery, medicines, and that kind of solution.

They’ve also provided some design work for the apps. The founder is a designer; he believes that the UX/UI is the most critical part of the application, which is a valuable part for us as it helps us find out the better UX/UI.

It’s a hybrid application, so it works for Android and iOS. We hired them for the Flutter one too.

What is the team composition?

We have about seven people on the team. We’ve hired three frontend developers, two backend developers, one UX/UI designer, and one project manager.

The founder is our main point of contact. He has a good sense of the value of development.

How did you come to work with EGGHEAD Experts?

We were looking for companies and connected with several vendors. After many discussions, we realized that they had experience in design. Moreover, their team had dedicated and more experienced developers.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent about $50,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

The partnership started in December 2020, and we have two ongoing projects.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The application is now live — it’s local and aimed at the car wash industry. According to the clients' reviews, they’re happy with the work we’ve done.

How did EGGHEAD Experts perform from a project management standpoint?

They’re good, up to date, and very responsive. They provide daily and weekly reports, and we’re in contact with the founder.

In terms of communication, we use Trello for reporting. Also, I can call them on the phone if we need anything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have good, quality UX/UI designers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

At the moment, there isn’t anything. The project is going well, and we’re happy with it.

What challenge were you trying to address with EGGHEAD Experts?

When I started my cleaning business, I wanted to have a professional website. Along with that, I wanted to have a company logo and marketing materials.

What was the scope of their involvement?

My first request was for EGGHEAD Experts to develop our company logo. The team sent us sample logo designs we could approve. They then started working on our company brochure, business cards, and letterhead. Similar to the logo, they gave us some options. We also provided them with ideas they could integrate to finish our marketing materials.

Furthermore, the team helped us set up our company email and domain. On top of that, they created Google Ads for us. After that, they created our website. In order to complete it, they asked for some photos. The team continues to manage our platform so that we don’t have to worry about anything. Recently, they’ve also created an editable brochure where we can change the product depending on our external customer's needs.

What is the team composition?

We’re working with 1–2 people from EGGHEAD Experts, but we only have one main point of contact. I’m not sure how many people are working on their team because I’m in New Zealand, and they live in India.

One of my friends referred EGGHEAD Experts to us. We reached out to them because of their offered price because we knew that working with a company in New Zealand could be very costly.

We’ve spent $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together in January 2017, and our partnership is still ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I’ve received good feedback from one of my external customers. They’ve asked me who built my website and designed my logo, letterhead, and more. Other people have also asked me who has helped us develop our materials. Above all, we’re satisfied that they’ve produced a couple of options for our logo and letterhead.

How did EGGHEAD Experts perform from a project management standpoint?

EGGHEAD Experts has a good project management process. We typically communicate through email. Despite the time difference between New Zealand and India, they’ve been responsive, and their service is fast.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’ve been impressed with their highly competitive pricing and services. We also highly appreciate that they’ve made a few changes on our website for free.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Since we have time-based communications, it can be very hard for them to contact me at night since I’m sleeping. That’s why we’ve preferred communicating through email because of the time difference between us. However, that challenge is not their fault. Other than that, I don’t see anything that they can improve.

Any advice for potential customers?

The team has been pretty good, and our experience with them has been great. They always have good services and communication skills.
