Although they are always thorough and precise in their communication, there were moments when we could have benefited from even faster turnaround times, particularly for time-sensitive financial reports. Additionally, offering more proactive check-ins during quieter periods could further strengthen the relationship and ensure ongoing alignment with our business needs. However, these are relatively minor considerations in the context of the overall outstanding support and service we've received.

EBS is responsible for maintaining the books by using Zoho software. They are also responsible for financial reporting and Value Added Tax.

We have a a fixed monthly service fee which will be reviewed and revised quarterly depending on the volume.

We mainly work with 2 people. One of them is the senior accountant, being our main point of contact and the other one who supports other tasks.

They set the system in Zoho so fast without us even feeling. Whenever we ask any questions, we get the reply in 15 minutes in most cases.

The onboarding process was very smooth. We had one kick off meeting during which we agreed on the principles. We usually communicate by email, whatsapp or phone.

There were two engagements, business plan and accounting and bookkeeping. For business plan the service was great and gave us complete overview of our goals and business. They finished the business plan in 2 week with all the data we needed Accounting and bookkeeping is ongoing project we are working with them as I write. They are very active on monthly bookkeeping reports and identify any issues and report them to management proactively. They have helped us to create policies for our business, which was necessary for me as being non accountant. Ebs is using Zoho Books as recommended by them, we are happy with the software.

We’re happy with EBS and what they’re offering. There haven’t been any issues, and hiring them as our accountants has allowed us to achieve our goals.

They deliver quality work, and their prices are market competitive, although leaning more towards a premium price. However, we wanted peace of mind, and they’ve helped us achieve it, so we’re okay paying that.

How did Executive Business Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

EBS has very good processes. They don’t miss the deadlines, and they follow a very good system. Additionally, they explain everything to us, including what will happen next and what we can expect as a client.

If we have a deadline to meet, they inform us at the start of the month and keep reminding us about it, even though it’s not their responsibility. They’re always following up to make sure we meet deadlines — I really value that.

We communicate online, which works well, and we haven’t had any communication issues. They visit us when needed, but they tend to keep our interaction over email or WhatsApp.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like EBS’ constant follow-ups. In addition, they offered us an accounting piece of software — it was a part of their package. Thanks to this software, I can see what’s going on, even if I’m not in the office.

They give us solutions and not just services; that’s an aspect that we also like about them.

There’s nothing that I’d have them improve.

EBS’ engagement is self-explanatory. When someone meets them for the first time, they’ll provide them all the data, facts, and figures. Whatever the client is choosing, he can make an informed decision.

First, we had an extensive kickoff meeting with Executive Business Solutions. We discussed the outcomes that we were looking for and got on the same page about the monthly reports they’d give us — the meeting was longer than we expected.

Currently, Executive Business Solutions does our monthly accounting based on our invoices and bank statements. After that, they post all of our invoices on Zoho Books and provide us with monthly financial statements used by me and the other board members. They also give us reports about the costs per water filter.

After we get the financial monthly report, Executive Business Solutions sets up a meeting with us where we discuss the financial numbers and forecasted reports.

Apart from that, there are other metrics and KPIs involved, such as sales per person and profit per project. We always make sure that the cost per project doesn’t accumulate past our budget.
