Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

EGS helped us build AmatriumGPT - a secure enterprise AI platform where companies use ChatGPT-4o against their own corporate data. The platform includes three tools: Chat for document search and discovery, Summary for content creation from multiple files, and Translator for word-for-word translation across 100+ languages. EGS handled backend architecture, frontend, the document processing pipeline, SharePoint sync, unlimited seat provisioning, and the multilingual interface.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Customers report producing marketing content in under 30 seconds from their own technical data. The Translator tool eliminated expensive manual translation for our Japanese-based customers. We onboarded customers across manufacturing, foundries, and associations with full organizational adoption. Platform uptime and security have consistently met enterprise IT requirements.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

EGS used sprint-based delivery with weekly reviews and full transparency. Every milestone shipped on or ahead of schedule. When we added mid-project requirements like citation-backed answers, they assessed impact quickly and adjusted without slipping the timeline. Communication was proactive throughout.

What was your primary form of communication with Eastgate Software JSC?

• Virtual Meeting

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Eastgate Software JSC went beyond building a chat interface; they understood the harder problems: multi-tenant data isolation, document processing at scale, and making AI accessible to non-technical users across an entire organization. Their combination of AI engineering depth and security awareness is rare.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Eastgate Software JSC could have done differently?

The SharePoint integration documentation could have been more detailed upfront for customers' IT teams. It didn't cause delays, and EGS updated it promptly once we flagged it.

How many teammates from Eastgate Software JSC were assigned to this project?

6-10 Employees

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Over a two-year engagement, Eastgate Software JSC led a critical digital transformation of our Seneca ESG platform. The primary scope involved a complex architectural migration from a monolithic Django framework to a modern Java Spring Boot microservices architecture.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities:

System Refactoring: Deconstructing the legacy Django monolith into scalable Java-based microservices to improve platform modularity.

Infrastructure Migration: Transitioning our core ESG and GHG data engines to a cloud-native environment.

API Development: Developing robust APIs to support seamless data flow between ESG reporting modules.

Ongoing Maintenance & Support: Providing continuous technical support, bug fixes, and performance optimization for 24 months post-migration

Scalability Enhancement: Ensuring the new architecture could handle large-scale GHG datasets and complex business intelligence queries.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Smooth Transition: The biggest win for us was the zero-downtime migration. Moving a complex ESG platform while people are actively using it is nerve-wracking, but they pulled it off without a single user complaint.
Faster Performance: After switching to Java Spring and microservices, the platform just feels much snappier. Our data processing for large GHG reports is noticeably faster than it was on the old Django setup.
Peace of Mind: Having them on board for two years of maintenance has been huge. We don't worry about system stability anymore because their team is proactive—if something small pops up, they usually fix it before we even notice.
Scalability: We’ve grown a lot since the project started, and the new architecture hasn't broken a sweat handling the 3x increase in our data load and user traffic.

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

We worked in bi-weekly sprints, which kept everything transparent. They mainly used Azure DevOps to track tasks and Slack and Teams for daily communication, so we were always in the loop.
The major migration milestones were met on schedule. For the ongoing maintenance part over the last two years, they’ve been great at prioritizing urgent fixes without letting the routine updates slip behind.
What I appreciate most is their "can-do" attitude. Whenever we had a sudden change in ESG reporting requirements or needed to scale up the team (they grew to 6-10 people for us), they reacted quickly. They don't just follow instructions blindly; they often suggested better technical ways to implement our ideas, which saved us a lot of headache during the Java Spring refactoring.

What was your primary form of communication with Eastgate Software JSC?

• In-Person Meeting
• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to handle a high-stakes migration from Django to Java Spring without any system crashes was impressive. What really stands out, though, is their consistency over the two-year partnership. They don't just act as an outsourced vendor; they feel like a core part of our team, always offering smart architectural advice rather than just writing code.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Eastgate Software JSC could have done differently?

In the early stages of the migration, communication could have been slightly more frequent regarding the specific timeline for each microservice. However, they quickly adjusted their reporting rhythm once we gave them feedback, so it didn't impact the overall project.
