Zazz updated the UI/UX of our website to make it easier for users to locate important information. Additionally, they assisted us in creating a member login portal that allowed our members to use the club's amenities. Everything used to be done over the phone or in person at the headquarters. They worked with us on a few plug-ins and created everything on the WordPress platform, particularly with regard to the backend features on the members login page.

After explaining our goals to them, they searched the WordPress marketplace for plug-ins that would be compatible with the website. Additionally, Zazz has completed numerous unique APIs for us. One of the challenges we faced was creating a unique integration between our website and the Salesforce accounting platform. This API is compatible with

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Both our store's revenues and online traffic have increased by 30% to 40%. There is an abundance of unprocessed viewer data, and our corporate partners have provided excellent feedback. Now that we've updated our brand for the twenty-first century, our partners are pleased with the way everything looks and are delighted to support us digitally.

Furthermore, there is a noticeable growth in the number of members utilizing the website. They no longer need to communicate with someone in order to access a plethora of functions. Our members have reacted favorably to this. Our staff's labor has decreased significantly as a result of that. This is a result of users finding the website easier to utilize to obtain what they need.

Great project management is done by Zazz. Even though there are moments when we are unable to respond to them right away, they do so promptly. If we hadn't been a stop-start customer, they would have finished the project much more quickly. Karolina is an amazing artist who consistently creates stunning pieces. Despite the fact that we are destroying her exquisite works, she always accepts harsh criticism.

We refer to Robert as our "brain man" in the meantime because of his intelligence; for example, although he wasn't familiar with Salesforce when we started working on the project, he quickly became familiar with it and developed a custom API for us.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Dealing with a client who isn't paying top dollar isn't simple. Although Zazz's private clients do more than we do, they always get back to me promptly. They never take advantage of us or attempt to take advantage of us financially, and they always arrange everything in a professional manner. It's impressive that we aren't treated like second-class clients, to put it simply. They took good care of us and treated us like any other client. That truly made us happy.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Zazz could have done differently?

In the end, they might perform further quality assurance tests. It would be preferable if they could return and verify the website's quality once more.

Zazz created native applications for Android and iOS. The app's design and development proposal was based on the market and user research they conducted through interviews at the beginning of the project. They created the app's flows, user personas, and user journeys using Figma, and built the UI/UX. 

We made the decision to proceed with them on the app's development once they finished the design stage. Zazz collaborated with our technical team to create the Android app with Kotling and the iOS app with Swift.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Zazz fulfilled my needs, and our teams collaborated flawlessly. Early on, we were able to observe what they was working on by gaining access to their GitHub repositories. Our engineering teams collaborated well and were a cohesive one.

They finished the project by the expected date and stayed on budget. They used monday.com for project management, and our team had access to it, although we didn’t use it. I could check what they were working on on monday.com, but we predominantly used Slack.

The Zazz team impressed me the most. I wanted a staff that has a lot of experience working together. I've come across other contracting firms whose staff hasn't collaborated as much. It is evident in their work and workflow that the team has worked together for six years. A crucial component of our project's success was the designer's understanding of what could and could not be developed.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Zazz could have done differently?

Nothing that Zazz could do better, in my opinion. Although I was concerned that we would have issues, everything worked out well and our connection was beneficial to all of us.

We needed Zazz to revamp our web app and guide us through the planning, strategy, and discovery phases.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zazz has provided web app development and branding services including planning and strategy. The team started with a discovery phase of our competitors and to understand our brand image. They presented multiple options for our web app based on the SEO side. The next phase was to redesign our application which included wireframes, branding, mockup, and design using Figma. Next, they moved on to development and are now in the pre-deployment phase with user acceptance testing (UAT). They’re using PHP, Laravel, HTML, and CSS. Our web app includes a very elaborate CMS that they also built. The team will provide hosting on AWS and maintenance services once we go live.

We’re in contact with designers, developers, business analysts, and the product owner. We’re still in touch with the person we spoke to on the first day of our engagement.

Though not launched yet, the web app has been bug-free. Zazz has been extremely supportive and puts a high priority on client satisfaction. 

How did Zazz perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been wonderful. The Zazz team keeps us informed. We meet twice per week via Zoom and they come to our office weekly. They present live demos to us, take our feedback, and align the feedback very well. They speak to third parties and get everything sorted out for us. They track everything on Jira and deliver on time. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re a non-technical team and I’m impressed with how Zazz takes care of everything for us.

No, there’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Working with Zazz will be super helpful if you’re clear on what your vision is. Know what you want to do. Give them a path to follow and they’ll come up with multiple solutions and suggestions.

Zazz uses Adobe Photoshop for the design portion of the project. 

Zazz has also been responsible for testing the app and fixing all the bugs found during that testing phase. The team is now working on adding new features to the app.

We’ve been really impressed with our project manager. He brings a lot of experience and is wonderful to work with. Their project management is great; they inform us ahead of time when things will be completed and stick to those deadlines. We use Basecamp, Skype, and email for project management.

We’ve been impressed with their technical knowledge. They know what technology to use and when to use it which has been helpful throughout our engagement.

We needed help developing our mobile application and distinguishing it from other platforms.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Zazz is developing our mobile app for Android and iOS. At the beginning of our collaboration, they provided us with the scope of work documentation and a business diagram so we knew what to expect from the process. 

Zazz has advised us to use React Native so that the app can be scaled for other devices, including desktops, in the future. They’ve finalized a few wireframes. The app will be different from other popular dating apps; it will include regional matching and patriotic compatibility capabilities. Other platforms are seen as casual dating apps, but we're trying to bring true companionship into the dating app industry.

What is the team composition? 

We work with 6–8 Zazz teammates, including front- and backend developers, UI/UX designers, two testers, one business analyst, and a project manager.

Zazz’s work is perfect. The product is still in the development phase, but their work has been impeccable so far. They’ve delivered what they said they would in their initial roadmap. Zazz has been very good so far.

How did Zazz perform from a project management standpoint?

Communicating with Zazz is very convenient. I have one point of contact, the project manager, who I communicate with via email, Skype, and phone calls. I only interact with the team if I have any specific technology-related questions or if there is a feature I need.

Zazz delivered everything on time. If I requested a change, it was delivered within a week.

Zazz’s pricing is very cost-efficient.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t want them to change anything. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

No matter what idea you have, listen to Zazz’s team because they work based on market insights. Their teammates are not only technology experts; they know how different business models work. If their business analysts are offering changes to your idea, you should accept them.
