We have engaged an outside agency to assist in restructuring, rebuilding, and redesigning our primary website, wpengine.com, utilizing a headless architecture. This project will include updates to the UI/UX of our existing checkout page on my.wpengine.com/signup, ensuring integration with our current tech stack, including Heroku Shield and PCI-compliant systems. The primary objective is to make our main site more agile, enabling rapid iterative testing and improvements, while enhancing performance with Core Web Vitals (CWV) and achieving sub-1-second page load times. The scope also includes creating a dynamic user experience that supports future personalization efforts, with a focus on defining the customer journey across core pages, templates, forms, menu systems, and immersive content.

Given that our team has been ever-changing, it was sometimes a challenge to onboard new members. However, Drewl was always proactive in keeping communication lines open, ready to collaborate, and focused on finding ways to improve our processes. Tayo, in particular, was exceptional in helping us navigate complex problems by breaking them down into manageable solutions. Whenever we were unsure how to proceed with something on the site, Tayo’s ability to clearly explain the options, outlining all the pros and cons, made it much easier for us to understand and move forward with confidence. His thoughtful guidance was invaluable in helping us make informed decisions throughout the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Drewl could have done differently?

The only area for improvement would be to have more walkthroughs on how things were built and clearer naming conventions for blocks on the backend. However, this is something we recognize could have been addressed through more collaboration on our part. Overall, the experience was very positive, and we appreciate the support provided throughout the project.

• Research and Strategy: Our journey began with comprehensive research. We wanted to understand our target audience's needs, preferences, and online behaviours. This was crucial for us to lay down a strategy that ensures our web platform not only looks good but also serves the user efficiently. 
• Wireframes: After laying down the foundational strategy, we translated our insights into intuitive wireframes. These blueprints provided a visual representation of our site's layout, ensuring the user's journey was as seamless and intuitive as possible. 
• End-to-end Web Design: We dived deep into the design phase by transforming our wireframes. The focus was on crafting an aesthetically pleasing and functional user interface that encapsulates the essence of SDS.

Drewl was brought on to design a new eCommerce website from the ground up. The goal was to create a site that not only drives conversions but also delivers a unique user experience.

After initial workshops, Drewl recommended a mobile-first approach, given that our marketing strategy is heavily focused on social media—so prioritising mobile users made the most sense. A few months later, we now have a fully designed eCommerce site that’s ready to bring to market.

The biggest success so far has been transformingmy vision into a fully designed eCommerce platform that reflects the Muñez brand perfectly. The design process was efficient, with clear milestones, and we now have a site that’s in the later stages of development, getting ready for our launch.
