I’m the senior manager of Sling TV, an entertainment company. One of my responsibilities is to manage consumer awareness campaigns.

What challenge were you trying to address with Dream Farm Studios?

I needed help with marketing videos.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We tasked them to produce three animation videos to educate the consumers on the downsides of owning an IPTV box.

I still work with them based on project demand. If there’s another opportunity on the horizon, and we feel like using animation again for marketing purposes, I will work with them.

What is the team composition?

I worked with the CEO at the initial stage. He then assigned the project manager later on.

How did you come to work with Dream Farm Studios?

I came across them through a friend of mine who used to work there. We discussed how we could incorporate animations into our marketing efforts.

I went with them over their competitors because of the quality of their work and how they’re priced competitively.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent approximately $16,000 per project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2017–October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They put together high-quality productions, which we could use to market to international consumers in the US. We placed the videos on YouTube and aired them on international networks as well.

How did Dream Farm Studios perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very responsive. When we needed changes, they were accommodating. They were flexible in providing a good service to the customer.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of work and the amount of effort they put into producing the videos was most impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could improve on the project management overall. They could have a clearer pipeline on the status of the projects. I’ve shared that feedback with them, and that is something they have worked on.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Work really closely with the project manager. I was very happy with the end results.

I am a video producer specializing the the production of entertainment, educational and marketing content for businesses in the United States.

Dream Farm Studios created an 3d animated teen skateboarder to provide the wrap-arounds for a 10-minute video, "Stuttering: For Kids, By Kids 2.0."

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Found Dream Farm with a Google search. They were hired based on the quality of their previous work, and reasonable pricing.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Dream Farm Studios: modeled four 3D characters and a full 3D school playground environment; recorded the voices of the characters; provided sound effects and environmental audio; resulting in 13 animated scenes (more than 100 seconds of final animation).

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Besides my account exec, there was an art director involved, plus multiple animators who provided 3D character modeling, scene animatics, and final renders.

I was very pleased with the results and more importantly, so were the clients.

They were excellent from a project management standpoint.

They had a good sense of editing and how to provide different angles within a scene to help tell the story.

There's nothing they could've done differently.
