digital software development

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project demonstrated clear and measurable progress across multiple key areas of development. From a technical standpoint, Dotlinker successfully delivered a functional Phase 1 platform for our online auction marketplace, including core features such as user account creation, seller listings, bidding functionality, and real-time auction flows. These components were not just conceptual—they were implemented and made testable in a working environment. A critical milestone was the integration of a structured bidding system aligned with our business model, allowing users to actively place bids and interact with listings. In parallel, the platform’s backend architecture was established to support scalable user activity, which is essential for future growth. On the UI/UX side, we saw measurable improvements through iterative updates, with each revision bringing the interface closer to a production-ready state. This includes clearer navigation flows, improved listing presentation, and more consistent user interaction patterns. Additionally, turnaround time on revisions and feature updates was efficient, allowing us to validate changes quickly and maintain development momentum. This responsiveness directly contributed to shorter testing cycles and faster decision-making. Overall, the success of this phase can be measured by the transition from concept to a working, interactive product with core marketplace functionality in place—providing a solid foundation for further development and launch readiness.

Dotlinker demonstrated strong project management throughout the engagement. Deliverables were provided on time or within reasonable timelines, and they remained responsive and adaptable to our evolving requirements. That said, the team was always responsive and proactive in addressing feedback, ensuring the project stayed on track.

Create a partner and customer portal to create and present quotes from partner venue to customers. The portal includes our CRM, quotes and commissions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The launch of the portal into production and successfull use for both our partners and customers. We are constantly improving the portal and adds functionality

Describe their project management. Did they deliver items on time? How did they respond to your needs?

The project was more complex than we initially thought which made us miss the deadline to production. The testing of the features required more of our time which we hadn't calculated. Looking back I think hiring of a tester would have been a good thing as well. After the first version was deployed in production we had to continue with a dev enviroment and the production environment. After some initial struggel to get that running and align on the process of deployment we have very good working relationship now.
Looking back at the project we could also have spent more time to explain in better details the features we needed and why we needed them.

What was your primary form of communication with DotLinker Technologies?

• Virtual Meeting
• Email or Messaging App

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are all very quick to respond and code the changes. When everyone understood the business logic of the portal it got even better.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DotLinker Technologies could have done differently?

I would put it this way, together we could have set up processes for feature request, bug reporting, testeing, release management and deployment in production better. The start was a little messy with lot of things to keep track of.
