As a small local business, we must always be ten steps ahead of more prominent companies. With more and more people using their phones to find health services, we needed to make sure our site and social media accounts were up to date. My company hired Doctor Multimedia to redevelop our outdated website and improve our social media presence.

What were your goals for this project?

To boost site traffic and lead generation, we wanted a more secure, user-friendly, and aesthetically pleasing website. We needed to reduce the overwhelming amount of information that users faced on our site. We also wanted to generate more reviews on Google, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Ultimately, we hoped that our improved website and enhanced social media presence would help patients find us online and book our services.

How did you select this vendor?

For five months, we did six live demos with website designers that we found online via ODs on FB. We were not satisfied with costs or services until Doctor Multimedia’s demo, which laid out what they do and how they do it. They were confident and able to answer our questions, and we could not pass up the price they offered. Both doctors and I agreed that Doctor Multimedia had everything we were looking for.

Doctor Multimedia is deploying our doctors’ visions and general requirements to redevelop our website. They are streamlining the design and reducing information overload. As my team’s main contact with Doctor Multimedia, I have provided them with pictures and an outline of our services. They are putting this content on our site in a clean and presentable way. They’re also working on enhancing our Google and social media pages.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have seen increased web traffic and better search results. My company has received positive feedback regarding the site’s ease of access; patients like that they can complete paperwork online, without having to print anything out. Although we have a lot more work to do, Doctor Multimedia’s work has been great so far. The results are better than expected.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

My team primarily coordinates with the account lead, who handles team coordination and the overall collaboration. Doctor Multimedia is highly responsive at all times, and they are receptive to feedback. When I have questions or want changes made, I email them or message their help desk; someone always responds immediately with what I need.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We are extremely pleased with how quickly Doctor Multimedia is updating the website. For instance, if I ask them to make changes, they do so within the same day. A previous vendor we worked with took two weeks to make changes. Doctor Multimedia is amazing.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There are always areas for improvement; however, since we’ve only worked with Doctor Multimedia for a few months, I haven’t seen any critical areas.

I am the owner and chief medical officer of a veterinary clinic. Aside from managing our office, I see clients four days a week. Our goal was to have an up-to-date and eye-catching website that would increase our visibility with our target market.

I met Troy (President, Doctor Multimedia) at the annual meeting of our state’s veterinary medical association, where I also saw other websites created by Doctor Multimedia on display. Compared to the site we had at the time, those websites appeared fresh and unique.

Doctor Multimedia designed our website, transferred what we wanted to keep, and handled the website domain name. They’ve coordinated with our previous website company to transfer information, including links embedded in our site. Doctor Multimedia has also written new material and added content as needed. They continue to manage our SEO as well as update our website and social media accounts.

Our landing page is beautiful and easy to use.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are highly responsive. If anything is unclear, they contact me to make sure I get what I want.

Doctor Multimedia’s responsiveness is unparalleled. I have never had to wait even a day for a response from them.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, nothing comes to mind. It would be great if everything were free.

I'm the practice manager for Shiloh Animal Hospital. I run human resources, payroll, and ordering.

What challenge were you trying to address with Doctor Multimedia?

When we first purchased the hospital, it had a website that was managed by a different company. However, that firm didn’t do social media, so we wanted a partner who could revamp the site and do social media management.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Doctor Multimedia mainly adjusted and updated our existing site, performing tasks such as changing the color scheme and adding a video to the front page. They revamped the overall appearance of the site and changed a bit of content, which we wrote.

For social media, they mainly work on Facebook and Twitter. We have an in-house person who manages our Instagram account. Doctor Multimedia writes and posts the social media content, which they publish once a week.

I have one main contact.

We heard about them at a conference. Their pricing was better than our previous partner, and their content wasn’t the same for all their clients, so we hired them.

We spend $190 a month.

We partnered in February 2018, and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our metrics have increased, and the engagement has been successful. I’m happy with their work.

How did Doctor Multimedia perform from a project management standpoint?

They send monthly emails that review our social media and website metrics, such as how many people visited our site, what pages they visited, and how much time they spent there.  When they were updating the site, we communicated frequently, but that’s diminished as they’ve moved into just doing maintenance and social media management. They used to do phone calls and screen sharing, but now it’s mainly email. Whenever I message them with a task, they respond when they’ve received it and when they’ve finished it. They haven’t ever missed a Facebook post.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re highly responsive and almost always accomplish tasks within 24 hours. If possible, they’ll suggest ways to make our ideas better, which we appreciate.

Are there any areas they could improve?

We’d like to see their Facebook posts in advance, but we’d have to set the time aside to do that.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

If you’re building a site, do screensharing because it makes it much easier and faster.

After interviewing dozens of companies and working with a few, I found that Doctor Multimedia was the first one that seemed to stand behind their work. Other companies would back off once pressed about their ability to provide speedy customer service.

Doctor Multimedia overhauled the original site. They generated new content and made changes to the site’s layout and usability. I also asked for features like online scheduling, payments, custom imagery, social media feeds, and so on. The website has been completed, but Doctor Multimedia continues to host the site and make changes as requested.

The team size stayed consistent throughout the process. During the website redesign, I was in contact with about three people.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Within about six weeks, the site was live and ready to go.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Most of the workflow occurred through email, with occasional phone calls to familiarize ourselves with the different aspects of the project. We discussed the final walkthrough and certain updates over the phone as well.

The Doctor Multimedia team responds to feedback quickly and honestly. They continue to reach out to me to check if anything needs to be updated.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their responsiveness and customer support are impressive. I know that with Doctor Multimedia, my concerns will be addressed in a timely manner.

We had a slight hiccup at the beginning with the design ideas and implementation, but nothing severe.

Doctor Multimedia completely redesigned our website. After they examined the current version and listened to my requirements and sales goals, they modified the entire platform accordingly. 

On a weekly basis, they develop educational materials for our Facebook page. The content they create fits my company’s image, mission, and role in our community perfectly. At this time, they continue to manage and update our platform.

The Facebook posts Doctor Multimedia create will regularly get more than 500 hits per post.

As a result of six months of their work, our customer base has grown significantly. Sponsorship for my chosen charity has also increased.

Our goals were to better online presence, increase web traffic, and gain more referrals from online sources.

I interviewed multiple companies and carefully compared prices, services, and reputation. Even though they were a bit more expensive, we selected Doctor Multimedia because they offered a customized experience.

The project initially took about a month to transition. Several people worked with me around the clock to get the site exactly how we wanted it. They offered helpful insight and were willing to pivot when we wanted to go in a different direction. Currently, they continue to update our site and support our social media efforts.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our online referrals have increased from about 18% to about 33%. Our search rankings stay near the top, as well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their workflow during development was great. Everyone I dealt with was very helpful and professional, and they had a strategy to keep us on course. There were some unforeseen hiccups along the way, but they made sure to walk me through everything.

Even now, they continue to check in on us, communicating via email and phone to make sure everything is arranged well. The team works quickly to make any changes as the need arises, and they never act like it’s extra work to go back and re-edit content.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

All of the individuals I’ve dealt with over the past year have been knowledgeable; I’ve never felt like they dropped the ball. They have a fluid process and always get back to me before my follow-up reminders occur.

Are there any areas for improvement?

There were some billing questions that we had to iron out initially, which wasn’t difficult, but better communication between their billing and sales team might have been helpful.

In addition to a sleek, modern, and user-friendly website, I also wanted to explore expanding SEO features and social media postings.

How did you select this vendor?

Doctor Multimedia approached me. The decision to switch from my previous company ultimately rested on several factors, such as cost efficiency; fast, responsive customer service; and assurance that there would be no site downtime during the process.

Doctor Multimedia also offered additional benefits, including site and content ownership without a contract; a variety of customizable, functional, and mobile-friendly designs that could be changed on request; and resources for posting to social media.

They designed and developed my website and assumed responsibility for my online marketing needs. To assist with the process, they conducted an initial website survey and afforded me an opportunity to clarify my design interests and preferences with a specialist.

Within 10 days of hiring Doctor Multimedia, they sent me a first draft, after which I had ample time to review, provide feedback for adjustments, or make suggestions for adding or creating content. Our patients love the look of the new site and find it easy to navigate. The social media postings free up some of my time during the week and the content has been great.  

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Project management has been exceptionally organized. All aspects of this project, from switching from the previous provider and linking social media sites to completing edits and updates and the final launch, were executed smoothly and on time with no unexpected delays. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Not only was the new website launched within a very reasonable timeframe, but the customer service didn’t end when the platform went live. I continue to have 24/7-access to an excellent team that receives and completes any edits or suggestions quickly.

There is very little that needs improvement. I have had no concerns or complaints regarding any interaction with any team member.

How did you select this vendor?

I received a phone call from one of Doctor Multimedia’s salespeople around the time when I was thinking of changing service providers. We conversed several times over the course of a few months before deciding to try them out.

Doctor Multimedia developed a new website and migrated our existing content into their design template. Initially, they provided us with a detailed survey with style choices before following up with a design call. Once I approved, they created the site as specified. 

I was happy with the content migration process because I didn’t think it’d be so easy. They used a program to determine if we were using copyrighted assets, which was helpful and gave me more confidence in their work.

The team then set up our Facebook page. They customized each of our posts to our services because our practice is a bit different from general chiropractic. Afterward, they walked me through all the different steps and took the time to help me understand anything that was unfamiliar. 

The website went live in the middle of March 2019, and the Facebook page launched soon after with specific posts starting in April. They’re still helping us manage our social media and answer any questions that I may have.

I worked with one person to set up the site who guided me through the launch process. They’ve also assigned a primary contact for any social media questions and another for sales.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Although it’s only been about a month since we’ve gone live, we’ve received great feedback from visitors who like our changes. The new site and social media presence have helped us become more relevant, and we’re able to better compete with other chiropractic offices. I’m now confident that we’ll gain even more patients in the upcoming months thanks to our digital efforts.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Everyone I’ve worked with has been nice and responsive throughout the process. They understand that what we do is different from general chiropractic, so our needs will be different in some areas.

As for communication, we coordinate over email. It’s nice to receive email confirmations from an actual person rather than an automatic reply. I also use a great system called HeyOrca to approve or make changes to the Facebook posts/calendar.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Compared to our previous provider, Doctor Multimedia acts promptly when we submit change requests. The other day, I needed something removed immediately from our site, so I emailed their help desk, and they were quick to resolve the issue.

I also appreciate that they automatically update the mobile site along with the desktop version. I used to have to tell my previous provider to make changes to both, which was ridiculous. 

Are there any areas for improvement?

The only feedback I have for them is to streamline their email responses. A lot of times, their help desk emails won’t have my original thread attached which list all of my requests. When they confirm that they’ve implemented my changes, I have to go back through my sent folder to figure out which changes they’re referring to. I’ve worked around this by indicating the change dates in the subject line so that I can find emails faster on my end.

They did web design, online reputation management, and web maintenance. They designed my website and they continue to make changes to it whenever I request them.

Typically, when I have any issues or questions, I deal with the same individual whom I initially met at the convention.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

My site is much more user-friendly. When I moved my offices, their web support was instrumental in getting the information out there. I think the site has improved my practice overall.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

The representative gave me his personal number, so I can call him about anything. I am absolutely thrilled that I am still working with my original rep. He is very responsive and has helped out with anything I ask.

I was given specific instructions and kept up to date every step of the way. When I need to make any changes, I simply e-mail the help address. I then receive a response that my request was received and another email when the changes are made.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The responsiveness and continued relationship that we have shared stand out to me. I feel like they are as concerned about my practice’s reputation as I am. I also feel like they take pride in customer relations and will do whatever it takes to keep the customer satisfied.

That initial phone call was pleasant and I could tell they truly cared about their job and my concerns. Prior to launch, they sent me a link to test the page. We implemented it shortly afterward.

They quickly provided what we wanted and launched it without issue. The new site receives compliments regularly, and Doctor Multimedia is available anytime we need to make an update or add something new. Their technical support is amazing.

We didn’t have any issues. When I emailed a suggestion or change, they addressed it in hours. They even responded right away when it was a holiday. I didn’t expect to hear back for a few days, but they were right there.

Without a doubt, it was their customer service. A company can have a good product, but without solid customer service, it’s not worth the headache.
