Division5 helps us create and manage websites in the tourism sector. For example, we've built websites for hotels, restaurants, destinations, and glamping sites. Based on our indications, they program and manage the technical aspects of the websites until they go online and get good results on search engines.

Division5 has completed the objectives for all the projects we've worked on. The websites' loading speed and aesthetics have improved. The quality of the layouts is also better because they create custom layouts from scratch for each site. Overall, our customers are satisfied.

We hired a development team of 4 from Division5 to support us in bringing our product suite to the next level.

First goal was to finalize our self-service solution oraya compass and to integrated a payment solution in to. The work was done brilliantly and everything works as intended.

Second goal was / is to redevelop our product copio analytics, thereby switching the existing backend & frontend technologies to NodeJs and React. The development is ongoing, but so far the work has been very good and we are very happy with the results.

Our product owner and the team are working based on the methods of SCRUM. The team has a high dedication to deliver task in time, and the do so with high quality. Division5 is not only a supplier, they also challenge us and bringt input anytime we discuss the future roadmap of our product. At the same time, they always react to our needs and serve as a consultant for technical topcis.

They offer a very appealing combination of transparency, proactivity, high ethical standards and very competent developers. It is a pleasure to work with them on a daily basis.

There is always room for improvement, but in my opinion the collaboration so far has shown that both sides are not only willing to learn from eachother, both parties enhance each other to provide even better results. Overall, nothing they could or should have done differently.

We had a deadline for phase 1 of the project and it was met 100%. Sprints are completed on time despite high demands

Division5's availability and competence were impressive. I have worked with many companies that do the same job, I have always found myself well but never like with them.

Not yet. They send me a monthly report with their Feedback and when I have one I reply and fix the problem.

The project started with the creation of our corporate website (including 5 main pages as well as several sub-folder-pages) in multi-language setup. Next to the web design and development, also mobile development was included. Afterwards the project continued with a classic website maintenance (installing updates, doing check-ups for bugs etc.) as well as optimizations of exiting pages, creating new pages or adding new features.

Furthermore a full website relaunch after a corporate rebranding was done. This included the web development in a responsive way, doing a setup in a staging area and doing QA and then hosting the website on live. The corporation also included a training session on how to work with our WordPress Theme Builder.

I really valued the team's transparent communication. Even if there was an delay we talked openly about it and they always took measure, to get the job done in time. For bigger projects, we switched to more frequent communication via Chat rather than email, which I appreciated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Most impressive was the fact that Division5 always tried to give a reason why. So when an error occured or a new feature was implemented, they always explained how it worked or why something didn't work and what we can do to avoid errors in the future. Those kind of insights are so valuable and it's not standard that someone takes the time to explain such things in detail.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DIvision5 could have done differently?

It was only once that we had a bit of a struggle with some timings but we openly talked about those and figured, it was actually a miscommunication of expectations. Since those were set the cooperations was running nicely again. Also a valuable lesson for me as a customer, to communicate expectations more clearly.

Everything was delivered on time, issues and problems were discussed when arised and division 5 accommodated to out needs. However sometimes the match between required qualifications on our side and the desires of the devision5 team member did not aligned which came out once time was invested in the onboarding

What was the scope of their involvement?

Division5 is our IT partner, and they’re helping us build our social networking platform. The landing page is built and hosted by us, but the network or the platform itself is developed and maintained by Division5. The platform allows a user to create a profile, interact with other users in rooms, and start discussions around certain topics in the education sector. In those rooms, users can also integrate their organizational profiles, and those organizations can invite their communities to those types of interactions. Everything that's accessed after the log-in is built by Division5.

We’ve worked with around seven people from Division5, including their CEO, a project manager, developers, and designers.

The overall reception from when we launched the platform has been very good. People enjoy the usability of the platform. Division5 is also able to integrate the feedback that we receive quite quickly, which is something that is perceived by our users very well.

How did Division5 perform from a project management standpoint?

Division5 has performed well in terms of project management. They’re incredibly flexible in how they structure the project and create their offers.

We use Jira for project management, and we primarily communicate through Slack and daily Zoom meetings.

Division5 is always eager to understand our needs and put in extra time and effort to discuss with us when we have doubts or questions. They’re kind and easygoing, and it’s overall a very pleasant experience working with them.
