We are a private investigation agency who generate almost all of our work through our website and content creation. I am the sole director and owner.

For what projects/services did your company hire Distribute Digital, and what were your goals?

We were attempting to shift focus from B2C to B2B and hired Distribute Digital to provide SEO, PPC management and implement LinkedIn marketing (we had never used LinkedIn). Our objectives were to increase our organic rankings for desired keywords, increase overall traffic and improve the distribution B2B and B2C clients.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We work with a design agency who spoke highly of them and made a personal recommendation. We then spoke with a number of local providers and after speaking with Andy, we’re confident that Distribute were the right firm for us, they were very knowledgable, provided clear objectives and we’re transparent about their fee’s and the hours we would get.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and campaigns.

The initial step was to review our current PPC build and establish how we could improve CPC and conversion rates, they were able to implement call-tracking and improved conversion monitoring through Google AdWords which allowed us to start monitoring the performance of our build.

The second step was to produce deliverables for our LinkedIn campaign and launch the LinkedIn Advertising campaign, this was very successful. We were incredibly impressed with the quality of the designs and the understanding of our services and offering that they were able to demonstrate even from an early stage.

They also provide content creation in the form of blogs and articles, the briefing process is effective and allows us to provide them with insight into what we would like to portray to our customers and their teams content research and copywriting is impeccable, we work in a very niche industry so it can be difficult to portray subject knowledge without being an investigator or HR professional, this is something they appear to do effortlessly.

We worked with Andy who is the director, Mihnea who I believe is head of PPC and Iga who is an account manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Comparison between distribute and our previous provider is difficult as we didn’t have goal monitoring or conversion tracking previously but distribute have been able to provide an increase in traffic (both organic and paid) MoM, this is also visible YoY. When LinkedIn advertising performance dropped below a mutually agreed CPC they advised how to effectively transfer the budget and we’re still able to deliver an increase in enquiries.

Hands on, Iga provides us with detailed monthly reports but we are in touch far more often than that and work quite closely with the content creation. When we have technical questions she will often schedule a further call with Mihnea or bring Andy into a discussion.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Andy has directly handled queries and gone above and beyond the scope of our work to offer advice and support for additional work they felt would help our business and improve the quality of our website. The quality of assets they produce and the subject knowledge they demonstrate in content creation is phenomenal and makes the process significantly more manageable for us as we often don’t have the time to write articles and rely on them to work from a relatively small brief.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We are happy with the way the project has progressed.

I’m the director of Phase 1 Electrical Services. We’re electrical contractors.

What challenge were you trying to address with Distribute Digital?

I recently had someone do my website but the results weren’t good and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted with PPC campaigns.

I was fed up with having to keep using new people to new things. I knew we needed a company we could build a relationship with and work with as the business grows.

We wanted our company to be more noticeable. Additionally, we wanted our image, the look, the logo, the colors, and our whole online presence to be more professional. The previous website I had didn’t reflect that.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Distribute Digital developed our website and created our logo. They included key site functionality, including a gallery page showing the progress of our various jobs. Their team also created a blog for us. Distribute Digital also provided branding for the site, instituting a new color scheme. 

They also kicked off some PPC campaigns to try to generate more work so that we can build the marketing budget. They also provided SEO in order to build my online presence.

What is the team composition?

We worked with about five people from Distribute Digital. My main point of contact is Andy (Founder).

How did you come to work with Distribute Digital?

I put out a tender online and was contacted by about 20 people. Andy was the first one to get in touch, and we had a long conversation. I talked to the other companies as well but didn’t have the same feel, so I decided to work with Distribute Digital.  

How much have you invested with them?

We have invested between £3,000–£3,500 pounds. (approximately $4,000–$5,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2021 and it's ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The website has been up and running for three weeks now. In comparison to the previous website, it's much better. It looks and sounds professional and mature, instead of looking like a one-man business. 

The website does exactly what it’s supposed to do, people want to come in. We receive more quality leads and traffic thanks to the PPC campaign

How did Distribute Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

Distribute Digital is really engaged in discovering exactly what it is we want. They worked with our copywriter to develop the content. They presented different options and ideas based on what we said.

Everything was really straightforward because they’re willing to listen. The whole process is very smooth and has good timing. We don't sit for weeks waiting to hear from them. The whole project is managed really well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They handle their customers well and offer a personal touch. Distribute Digital always sets aside time for us. 

Andy always gets back to me and checks in on me to see how I’m doing. It’s that personal touch you don’t get with some companies. It was much more bespoke and tailored to what we wanted.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t fault them on anything. They’re doing really well, and I’m very pleased. They took care of everything we needed.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You should definitely work with them. Be as open as you can and give them as much information as possible about what it is you want.

We wanted to have a good digital presence.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We aimed to have an up-to-date fresh approach with our website, and hopefully have it flowing pretty easily. Furthermore, we wanted to be able to transfer seamlessly between iPads, iPhones, laptops, and other handheld devices. It’s quite a task to make our website look good on all platforms.  

Our main audience is anyone looking to buy or sell a property, and our goal with the website is to collect as much data as we can on properties in the market.

How did you come to work with Distribute Digital?

I put my details into a comparison website for web designers. Then, Andy called me back and I saw that he’s hardworking. We connected quite well, so I thought he’s the right person for the job.

We’ve spent less than $5,000.

We began working together in February 2020, and we continue to work with Distribute Digital.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Stakeholders love the website and they like looking at it. They appreciate that our details flow nicely. The team really used nice colors and created a good layout for the site. 

My parents can even use the site and that tells a lot about why people appreciate our website. We’ve also driven a lot of traffic from social media. Moreover, we receive a lot of inbound traffic. We’ve had a couple of third-party users go to our website and inquire straight through that. 

How did Distribute Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We trust his experience and we would just check every now and then what he’s working on. He also reaches out to ask about our feedback and if there are any changes we want to make, and he’d run through things through Skype or calls. We’ve really given him free rein because I sell houses, and I’m not really well-versed in designing websites. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I haven’t really worked with anyone else in the past, and I wouldn’t find anyone else. I would definitely just go straight back to him. He’s an honest guy and he has helped us save a lot of time. When we share our ideas with him, he tells us if it’s doable or not. We liked that he’s not afraid to tell what he thinks.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, we’re pretty happy with the service they provide. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have an idea of what you want such as color schemes and timeframes. Andy has been very efficient and he had the website done quickly, and he would’ve completed it much quicker if we shared some of our ideas with him.

Appointed to lead product and channel development creating a lean cost-effective organisation and a platform for exponential growth. Accountable for the 5-year strategy, daily performance, profit and loss, compliance, investor relations, people management, fulfillment and communications.

Create and implement a Paid Digital marketing strategy. Initially this is focused on PPC and test and learn, with future extension into SEO.

After a referral process we selected 3 potential partners and Andy and the team seemed a great fit especially as the had both big and small brand eCommerce experience. we were particularly impressed with their passion to understand our brand and friendly helpful approach.
