At the beginning they took a lot of time and effort into really understanding us as a business.This means that every project is always considered with the bigger business picture in mind and there's huge amounts of flexibility along the way when things are needed to be tweaked. Performance is always very high and although they're an external company, we feel part of one big team. Communication is like no other! It's 11/10 and they're always available when something needs discussing.

No! I just look forward to the future where hopefully we can achieve more exciting things together.

Discoverable has always delivered work on time and has been very quick to respond to communication via email or slack; as well as always being willing to jump on a video call when required. They have a great track record of being one step ahead so that they are also able to anticipate our needs.

What makes Discoverable unique, and their work so impressive, is that they constantly push for greater results and that they are dedicated to ensuring that their efforts are measured accurately and in full. Other agencies we have worked with are happy to just set up your PPC campaigns and implement SEO strategies and only report the top-level data. 

Whereas, Discoverable will take the lead to ensure that data is being correctly reported in Google Analytics based on our specific needs and they also ensure that we integrate with the data from channels managed internally, as well as data in our internal events database & CRM. They ensure that we have full oversight over the entire sales funnel, that we can segment and assess this data in whichever way we request, and that we are able to correctly attribute leads and customers to all of our marketing efforts.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Discoverable could have done differently?

Not really no, because Discoverable has always shown a strong appetite for further improvement. They work hard to develop a comprehensive understanding of our business model and our needs, effectively acting as an internal team within the business. Any feedback given has been received positively and seen as an opportunity to do an even better job.

Discoverable was a first choice because we had a referral and people in the business who had a history of working with them. We need they'd do the best job for us as they understood the market we operate in.

We started with defining the areas of the business that we wanted to put specific attention on and started developing their individual campaigns. They also helped us integrate everything with Hubspot so that it made the job of managing anything coming in through goal conversion really easy.

They created reports for us that gave us total campaign visibility and monitored and adjusted as needed to make sure that the campaigns are always performing that their best.

We have been working directly with one of the founders of the business and the Strategy Director.

We have seen considerable and sustainable increases in site visits, time on site, goal conversions and re-visits to the site too. We would not have been able to achieve the same without the experience of Discoverable.

They have been able to shortcut the learning phase we would have had to do ourselves due to their years of experience and knowing exactly what to do and when to achieve the best results.

They are always easy to get into contact with, respond really quickly when needed and are proactive in all aspects of the management of the campaigns. Deadlines are always either met or beaten, and I'm never left wondering what is going on.

Their knowledge of both the market we work in and the world of PPC is second to none. I have had experience working with a number of other agencies in the past, across a number of different countries and Discoverable is by far the best.

There isn't really anything that I can think of that would need to be improved or changed. Things have been great from the beginning and continue to be great.

Another company built our site, but they operated alongside them in order to understand and optimize it. They’re primarily responsible for all of our running ads across digital and social media. That includes handling content on our website for SEO and Google Ads campaigns. So, they work with both organic and paid advertising. 

They collect and share all data relating to our brand’s digital performance as well, also providing us with ideas that may improve our performance as time goes on. In other words, they’ve grown to understand our business so they don’t have to hand over everything to us.

They can actively engage. We also turn to them for any further help with web development we may need. The other team built and launched the site, but we kept Discoverable on as our long-term partner.

We mainly work with Craig (Managing Director, Discoverable), However, we’re also in contact with George (Strategy Director, Discoverable), Simon (Co-Founder, Discoverable), and another resource.

They came on board a few weeks before I started here, so I’m not positive about how we found them. It potentially could’ve been through the agency we were working with beforehand.

It depends on what campaigns we’re running, but we spend about £1,000–£2,000 (approximately $1,300–$2,600) each month.

They started working with us in July 2018, and we’re collaborating on an ongoing basis.

They’ve increased our website revenue by over 100% of what it was before. The team is fantastic at what they do, and we’re really happy with their work.  

How did Discoverable perform from a project management standpoint?

We do a proper check-in each month. Both of our teams are very busy and should probably touch base a bit more. However, they’re great project managers. I never felt like we were chasing them down because they’re always on top of everything. They also provide regular feedback, never forgetting anything. We’re confident that they can handle our work. If there’s something wrong, they always keep us updated. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They know our company and brand very well. This isn’t the case with all outside developers. With them, it almost feels like they’re part of our internal team because they know us, our culture, and our products. In the end, that just makes it easier to work with them and achieve success. 

They’re also willing to learn, always taking our feedback into account. The team is clear when they disagree with us and presents their opinions clearly. At the same time, they don’t push back too much or unnecessarily. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Perhaps, things move a little slow on our end. It would be nice to know how we could help them more in the process. For instance, we’d like to provide more information about our SEO efforts to help them along if needed. At the end of the day, no one knows our business better than us. We might be able to play a bigger role in content creation because of that. 

This is improving over time, and they’d definitely be up to let us take over some responsibility. Additionally, it may be helpful to get feedback more often than once each month.

They’re an approachable team that takes feedback into account. You shouldn’t be afraid of providing too much feedback on your end. They’re accommodating always have it in their best interest to help you succeed. Nothing is too small or big for them. Even if it’s not in their area of expertise, they can often direct you to someone they trust to solve the problem.

I’m the managing director of Remland Carpets, an online flooring company based in the UK.

What challenge were you trying to address with Discoverable?

We had a few different companies handling our search engine optimization [SEO] and pay-per-click [PPC] efforts but they weren't doing a great job. We were looking for a new company that could handle everything related to the website and digital efforts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They handle SEO, PPC, and Google AdWords campaigns. We did a big rebuild of the website based on their recommendations. They’ve helped us optimize the site to get where we want to be in terms of sales. We don't have a blog at the moment but it's something they've suggested and we're going to look at adding to the site.

They did a lot of research to come up with the right keywords. They've looked at what we're selling on the website and identified key opportunities. Whenever they've done anything, we have several meetings to sit down and discuss what they're going to do and why and the potential impacts.

Discoverable also helped us do a whole brand update including our logo and company image. They looked at how our brand appears across the website, social media, and the store to make sure that everything tied in together and was consistent. We followed their recommendations so that you recognize the Remland brand no matter where you see it.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I can’t speak to the technical details of their work but I know that they've done a brilliant job. We’ve seen a huge leap in online sales—up about 120% from when they started—and we're spending less now than before. Our real costs have come down but the return has more than doubled. The rebranding has helped us develop more of an identity as a company separate from that of the brands we sell. You can't ask much more than that so we’re very happy.

How did Discoverable perform from a project management standpoint?

They communicate well and get things done. We used Slack to communicate when things were getting to a crucial point on a project. Other than that, I would send them an email or call them as needed. They explain things in real terms that I can grasp rather than techno speak.

Discoverable always met deadlines and some of them were very tight. Given that our website is an e-commerce site, we can’t afford to have any downtime. They did a great job under intense pressure when we launched the updated site.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They never say “we should have done this” or “we could have done that.” Discoverable always looks ahead and lets us know what they are going to do and what they will be doing. They're up to date with the latest Google search criteria so I feel confident that I'm getting very good advice.
