I’m the VP of Chemtran Services USA, a third-party logistics company that specializes in shipping chemicals and other dangerous goods. We’re a small business with about 22 employees.

What challenge were you trying to address with DIGITECH?

We wanted to get a professional website created that presented us as a high-quality business. We’d had a handful of sites in the past, but they were all handmade and not very professional looking.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH designed a WordPress website from scratch. I gave them the basics regarding what we do and what the important business segment that we offer are, and they provided all of the images as well as the official copy that went into the website.

We gave them flexibility in terms of design. We really leaned on them to understand what the highest industry standards were at the time. Website designs go through evolutions, and they ended up giving us their expertise as to what the most current and modern type of website look and feel was.

We kicked off on August 1, 2017, and we finished that November.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We created the site at the end of 2017, and even to this day, we still regularly get comments from clients and vendors alike talking about how great and professional the site looks. I’m definitely happy with the final product.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

I’d give them an A+. We worked remotely; even though we’re in the same state, they’re quite far away from us. Everything was done online or over the phone. They used a handful of different project management tools.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The highlight was that we wanted a great website, and they delivered a website that was even better than we could’ve hoped for.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t really have any constructive feedback. As a small business, it’s easy for me and people like me to get distracted with day-to-day business opportunities and problems, but they were able to manage the entire project and make sure it stayed on track.

Any advice for potential customers?

Even though the price was considerable for a small business, I’d recommend going for it. Do it right the first time if you’re pursuing a website; it’s already stood the test of time. I’d do it again 10 times out of 10.

I’m the director of special projects at the Houston SPCA, a private nonprofit charity based in Houston, Texas. We’re the first and largest animal welfare organization in the region, and we have the greatest and widest scope of services available to help animals and people. We have the region’s only 24-hour injured animal rescue ambulance and the largest cruelty investigation team.

What challenge were you trying to address with DIGITECH?

DIGITECH designed our website, which we launched in January 2020. I wasn’t involved in that, but I’ve since become the web administrator. When COVID-19 began and the stay-at-home orders were issues, we needed to place as many of our adoptable animals into new homes and foster homes. We actually saw an increase in cruelty and ambulance reports because people were home. We needed a large expansion of our foster program to handle all of the incoming injured and abused animals.

We tasked DIGITECH with creating a new page for fosters. Previously, our team had been copying and pasting pictures from another database and creating PDFs. We wanted to streamline that process and create a page on our website. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH created a webpage that pulls the information and photos of our animals into an API so that our fosters can see which animals are available. They made the page password-protected since individuals need to have training before they can become part of our foster program. The page updates constantly; as animals become available for foster, their photos go up on the website, and as they're placed into foster homes, their photos come down. 

Now that we’re doing adoptions again, we want to be able to have a live kitten cam and a live Campus cam so that people can see puppies for adoption, kittens playing, and what’s going on on our Campus. We eventually hope to be able to showcase our farm animals, barn team, and wildlife center. We’re working out the technical details on our side in terms of getting the cameras running. DIGITECH created the webpage for that; I just gave them a vague vision and written copy, and they turned it into a fabulous page, which is very close to going live. They finished the page before we even got the cameras up. They’re standing by to embed codes in the live cameras, and then they’ll drop the page into the website.

The other project they just finished up for us was working on our SEO. We did a short campaign with them to increase our SEO for words like ‘cruelty’ and ‘report cruelty.’ We’ve done more research with them and are looking at expanding that campaign to incorporate additional keywords.

I wasn’t involved at all in the creation of the website, so I’m not sure how my company found DIGITECH.

This work began in February 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We used the page to appeal to the public, and we had a tremendous response. We were able to literally clear the shelters by placing animals into new adoptive homes and foster homes. They’ve been a tremendous help and resource during COVID-19 to get animals into homes. They’ve helped make our website and our outreach to the public live and relevant.

DIGITECH’S SEO work was also very, very successful. We had ranked seventh or eighth, and now we’re number one on Google.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s been completely seamless and effortless on my part. I let them know what we had in mind, and within a week at most, they gave me a scope of services and a quote. Once I authorized it, the project was done within days. They’re responsive, as well as upfront and honest about cost. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was the web administrator for our previous website, and we received very little support from our last partner when we needed updates or changes. The pricing was also ridiculous. It’s been a pleasure and a joy to work with DIGITECH. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, not really. I wasn’t involved in the actual creation of the website, so I don’t have a lot of experience and background with them, but what I do have with them has been tremendous. 

Any advice for potential customers?

They’re more than just our web designer; they’re partners, and they believe in and support our mission. That helps facilitate the process. If anyone were looking at DIGITECH, I’d recommend really engaging them in who your company is and get them to embrace your mission.

I’m the VP of sales for Smith Thompson Home Security. We’re primarily a home security company with light commercial work. We install alarm systems, home automation systems, and camera systems. We also own a pest control company under the same name operating in the major markets of Texas.

We needed SEO services to improve our search rankings. We also required WordPress development work.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH provides an online dashboard where their team tracks all of our rankings for top keywords. Their SEO services range from backlinking campaigns to on-page optimizations for our website. They also optimize our Google My Business account for local markets.

They’re currently reworking the primary section of our website, which describes our different security plans. Their team’s also working on a chart for users to compare as well as housekeeping items.

They’re not a large corporate organization, so their team's personable. They’re a boutique agency that provides a highly personalized experience, which I appreciate. I’ve worked with really big businesses and you never know if you’re going to get the A, B, or C team. DIGITECH does exactly what they say they’re going to do.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via phone, email, and text. It’s easy to get a hold of them. They’re responsive. Their team’s quick to reply to emails and fix any issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re high-energy, focused, and enthusiastic. They care about the success of their customers. Their team gets excited about any changes or improvements that they can offer. They’re genuine. Their team delivered everything as expected, which is impressive.

I highly recommend working with DIGITECH. Come in with a clear understanding of what you want to improve. That way, they can attack the challenge from the angles that you want.

I’m the former creative director of Ntirety, a managed services provider that offers cloud technology.

What challenge were you trying to address with DIGITECH?

We had just merged and we were doing a big rebrand to become Ntirety. We were doing a rebrand on the design and messaging side internally, but we didn’t have enough resources to recreate our web presence and bring our two websites into one website. So, we needed to hire an agency to help us with that effort.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH did web design and helped us with navigation and SEO. It was a big effort for us because we had two main websites along with a subsidiary website. So, the team helped us to take three websites and consolidate them, organize the content, and design and develop the website.

What is the team composition?

I mainly interacted with two people: Darryl (CEO) who walked us through the proposal process and Jake (Senior Designer) who we had the most contact with throughout the process. 

How did you come to work with DIGITECH?

We went on a search for a variety of different agencies. We were looking to get some local and national proposals. DIGITECH was one of the local agencies that was suggested to us. We then interviewed five different companies and asked three of them to submit proposals.

We were really impressed with DIGITECH’s process throughout the proposal period because they asked a lot of questions, had us fill out a couple of forms, and did interviews with different members and stakeholders on our team to understand our goals and budget.

It was probably between $100,000–$150,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March–September 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

DIGITECH did a really good job of taking the new brand that we had created and applying it to the web. Our old websites were looking pretty outdated, so one of our main goals as a technology company was to liven things up and have a more modern and efficient website that was easy to use.

Our old website was really hard to navigate and it was difficult to find what you were looking for. The team did a great job of helping us simplify and streamline certain elements. They also made sure that the design was in line with what we were doing internally with all of our assets.

For myself as a creative director, what was helpful was that DIGITECH assisted me with navigating my stakeholders throughout my organization. When I was facing pushback, they helped me deal with those situations, which was great. 

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

They used a piece of communication software where we put all of our feedback. All of the tools they used were easy to use and they walked us through them. 

If we were having trouble navigating certain things, Jake would sit down and put together a video for us so we could look at it in our own time. DIGITECH was easy to work with, and they were incredibly responsive when we had issues or questions. They did great in that department. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

The team was very flexible and did a great job of helping us to get everybody on the same page. Additionally, the design itself was phenomenal. 

I really loved the different interactive touches that they put on the website. They made it look very modern without it being too bulky. DIGITECH did a good job all around. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

This isn’t really on them, but we had some timeline issues which meant that we had to figure out how the things that changed on our end would affect their work. Figuring out those expectations was a little complicated at times, but overall they handled it well. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

If you’re looking for a partner who’s going to work with you and become an extension of your team, then DIGITECH is a great company to work with. They are going to be really receptive to your issues and are going to dig into the goals you want to achieve and the problems you want to solve.

They really are partners in that sense. If that’s what you’re looking for, then they are a vendor you should look into.

I’d designed our previous WordPress site, and it wasn’t optimized for load time and SEO.

They revamped everything from our web layout to the copy. In particular, they targeted blogs and load times. In the end, they kept our design similar but made adjustments to focus on more keywords for our SEO efforts, while focusing attention on the site’s interactivity.

All of the copy was redone. They were targeting several new keywords through that content preproduction. We worked collaboratively on the new text. They would send me the first draft, and I replied with suggestions to make the copy more true to our company’s practices.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We show high in search results for keywords we weren’t even targeting before. Most importantly, we’ve seen a notable uptick in leads. The admission rates from the web have significantly increased.

Our team often gets feedback from families of patients. They regularly praise the site for being detailed yet easy to navigate. Typically, they’ll reference our levels of care page during those conversations. I, along with the internal team, feel that the site is a direct representation of our company. That was thanks to the collaborative effort.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We had several in-person meetings because we’re located in the same city. Those were in addition to a weekly conference call and email chains. They were so easy to work with, fixing issues immediately after I brought them up. That was super helpful because I never had to remind them of the problems. That hasn’t always been true with our past partners.

They’re very invested in our success, even if it’s outside of the scope of their work. Darryl has opened our eyes to things that we wouldn’t have known about before.

I needed help building an extensive website with various features and functionalities.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH was key in both the development and design of the site. To start off, I met with a project manager to discuss steps for the development and implementation of my vision. From there, they custom coded the website, taking feedback from me along the way. 

The finished product is a marketplace for law enforcement professionals to post gear. It was important to me that both the front- and backend of the site was user-friendly, so changes could be easily applied. 

What is the team composition?

I interface directly with a project manager and believe there are at least 3–4 developers working on the project. 

How did you come to work with DIGITECH?

I spent six months talking with and calling web developers both in and out of Texas to find the right fit. Many service providers weren’t up for the project because they didn’t know how to build everything I needed on my site. DIGITECH had some great reviews online and looked affordable. I reached out, and they were a good fit immediately.   

I’m still working with them to make small adjustments and add some more functionalities to the site.

The project lasted from September 2018–June 2019. But, we are still making slight changes post-launch.

We were trying to modernize our website and refresh our design to stay current in the marketplace. We are one of 18 sites on the same global platform and we needed a developer who could adapt to our existing framework.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH performed extensive development on an outdated website. They researched our industry and competitors to find new ideas to improve our site. Their team worked with us to understand our specific needs, adapting to fit specifications for several of our worldwide platforms.

Once they understood our vision and requirements, they presented us with wireframes in different styles from which we selected a design. They then executed a design to build a state-of-the-art product for both web and mobile devices.

The project began in November of 2018 and wrapped up in May 2019. There was a pause in development on our end for a few months during that time.

They performed like experts in the field. DIGITECH went above and beyond in researching the competition and providing a great design based on that work. They were able to give a consistent look and feel across different devices. 

Unlike other companies, they were very respectful of our budget constraints. They were able to give a consistent look and feel across different devices. When they found something that might not work, they were able to keep frustrations to a minimum by finding an alternative immediately.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

They were great with project management. The turnaround time was quick; they often delivered work early. We used a project board to comment on designs on InVision. They also had a sample website up to generate feedback and keep a conversation going. 

We had multiple phone calls and emails every week. DIGITECH’s team communicated well and were easy to work with. Whenever an issue arose, they were quick to find an alternative and limit frustrations. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was impressed with their speed and rapid turnaround. It was a huge project, and they were able to implement new designs within a three-day window, which was exciting for us. They were also very respectful of our budget constraints, which made them stand out from other companies.

None that I can think of.

I would advise taking their research very seriously. Spend as much time as you can researching other sites to get a clear picture of what you want. The more time you put in, the better the result will be.

We are a metals casting company specializing in titanium casting. We primarily manufacture products for other companies. I represent our investors and was spearheading website efforts.

We had an outdated website, and we wanted to expand our sales into a new industry. We wanted something more innovative and tech-savvy and a website that was cleaner and more modern.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They completely redid the entire website using content we provided. The new site has cool features, including a background video on the homepage, a quote feature for potential customers, and a process animation that explains our manufacturing procedures. The site is built in WordPress, and they used a separate extension for the animations. Aesthetically, they made the whole site look great.

What is the team composition?

I'm not sure how many people worked on their backend, but we communicated directly with a client representative and a main technical lead. We also spoke with the owner on occasion, and he was always available when we needed him.

I did a web search for companies near me in Chicago. We had an interview and looked over some of their previous work. I liked their aesthetics, and we decided to hire them.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project started in January 2018 and ended around July 2018. If I had delivered content faster, they might have finished faster.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We don't sell to the end-user, so our metrics aren't the most useful indicator of our success. We are working to break into the aerospace industry. Since we finished the website, we’ve penetrated that vertical. It may not be the only reason we've made that progress, but it's definitely a factor. The site represents us really well.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

They were very good project managers, and they used a software to track timelines and requests. They were always on top of everything, and their communication with our team was excellent. We interacted via phone and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality for the cost really distinguishes them. They provide a lot more value and quality than other similar providers. They developed a really sharp website, and we're happy we chose them.

The project went smoothly, and I don't have any complaints.

There are still some things left to finish to go before we go live, so we don't have any metrics to show just yet.

How did DIGITECH Web Design LLC. perform from a project management standpoint?

They managed the project well. They used an internal project management system that notified me about the steps. As we moved forward, they kept me informed. The software they used was intuitive and easy to navigate. They were receptive to feedback from us and pivoted easily to ensure our needs were met. We had a good ongoing conversation, and they were transparent throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I work with partners, I build on a good relationship. They were instantly communicative, and their CEO is accessible when we need him. Trust is very important to me, and that trust comes with effective communication.

This is a seamless process, and I don't have any improvements for them.

Be as proactive as possible. The responsibility to effectively communicate your vision is on your side. Get ahead of what they're asking and share your documentation with them. We shared documents on Google Docs to move quicker and achieve our goals.

I’m the founder and medical director of Klarisana, one of the most experienced and progressive providers of ketamine infusion therapy. We provide ketamine for the treatment of severe depression, PTSD, anxiety, and various forms of chronic pain. We have a network of clinics that operate across several states.

We had a number of phone meetings with Darryl (CEO, DIGITECH) and with Jake (Web Designer, DIGITECH). The challenge is that, even though ketamine has been around for over 40 years, it is now being used for fundamentally new indications.

This project wasn’t like creating a website for a dental practice—a concept which most people understand. We had to create a website that not only differentiates us from our competition but also one that educates and explains to potential patients why this therapy would be worth trying in the first place.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We ended up with a website that totally blew our previous site out of the water. Many of our colleagues and patients have given us feedback that the site is not only informative but that it really bumped our professional image up by several notches.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They were excellent. Timelines were always clearly defined, and deliverables were always on time.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The field that we work in—namely ketamine infusion therapy—is challenging to explain to people because it’s such a new and disruptive concept in medicine. DIGITECH was able to take the big picture concepts of ketamine therapy and package them in a website that is not only beautiful but also does a great job of conveying the information in a way that makes it easy for people to understand.

No, they did a great job overall.
