I am a branding consultant and have owned my own firm for 20 years. I bring partners on to design websites, create social media and so much more. I hire and fire marketing firms constantly and have worked with hundreds. For this project, I rebranded a hospital - and chose DIGITECH to come on as the website builder after a friend and high-level marketing colleague at another firm recommended them.

They understood BRAND as well as design. Most website firms make 'pretty' sites. DIGITECH makes beautifully designed sites that are customer friendly, innovative and stunning - but they GET BRAND. This is the best company I've ever worked with. Also - how we help on our end to build the site through their software is literally incredible. It's easy and clear - before the site is built, we all agree on framework, verbiage and design. Zero surprises. Best ever. Huge time saver as well. Efficiency.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Killing the competition in terms of what the site offers, looks like and how it educates the public about healthcare in the region and beyond. I would put this hospital site up against the top 10 best hospitals in the nation and we would win every single time.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

This may have been the best part. They were thorough, worked their tails off, met every deadline, communicated almost instantaneously, kept us on track. We never had to call them - they always made sure we were on top of things. Unheard of in today's world.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Knowledge of brand. Breadth of clients. How FAST they are. Communication is excellent. Their finished product has blown the healthcare industry out of the water.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. And after 20 years in the business. This is my first rating ever. Because they are worth the time to do it.

Our website needed a new look and feel since we were about to release a new software product to market, SmartBooks for accounting and restructure our brand offering.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We knew about Digitech as they were a tenant in our building years ago. We also reviewed many other options and kept coming back to what they provided and sample of work was Awesome.

We kicked off with a discovery call to go over project time lines, documents, inspiration site review and more. There was a lot of upfront work needed by Smartwebs for copy and layout for each product page that took some time for us to complete but they had a wonderful online software, flowmap for sitemap layout.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We primarily worked with the VP/Creative Director, Jake Wooldridge who was always super prompt to return any emails we sent or questions we needed answered. We also worked with the CEO Darryl Stevens when it came to the SEO phase and was always prompt on response time.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We loved how the new website looks and feels and the speed it loads. They brought in some great layout ideas, graphics, and interactive video on our pages. The also incorporated a lot of CTA to drive traffic to our demo page which is the main item we needed to convert to demos.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The VP/Creative Director was very personable and always provide detail on what they needed along the process of building out the new website. He was always super responsive and willing to jump on a quick Zoom meeting when needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We really enjoyed the line of communication especially when we lost our marketing person that caused delays in moving things forward from our end. They also were willing to work with us as some items got changed along the way after we approved a version of certain pages. Overall our experience felt like a partnership.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think the work for copy needed from us could of been presented differently and the work it would entail. They did offer to bring in a copy writer for us but we were worried about the time it would and that copy writer not being close enough to our software.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We track our platform’s growth through Google Analytics and have seen significant boosts in site traffic and engagement since launching our newly designed website. Apart from the positive feedback we’ve received from clients, colleagues, and friends, we’ve also welcomed more online applications and submissions than ever.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicate via email and Microsoft Teams. DIGITECH is a team of efficient communicators who meet and respect our timelines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’ve succeeded in making our website more appealing and functional.

We’ve spent a great deal of time resizing the images on our website due to automatic resizing issues.

Allocate enough time in monitoring their frontend work to avoid any issues.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH developed and designed our e-commerce site from scratch. They integrated payment features through backend development to ensure that people could order directly from our site and track their orders at the same time. Our team was in charge of generating the web content, and they applied everything to the platform using tools like WooCommerce and Strike.

After completing the development phase, we relied on them to implement web plugins whenever it was necessary.

What is the team composition?

We were mainly in contact with a project manager, and a team of developers from DIGITECH worked on completing our product.

How did you come to work with DIGITECH?

We found their team on Google while looking for potential agencies to onboard for this project. We were impressed with the client reviews they had and saw that they already worked with big companies in the past, so we were confident that they could handle our requirements.

Our project ran from July–August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I don’t have quantitative data to share at the moment, but I could confirm that we had a smooth partnership with DIGITECH. It was my first time to have my website developed, and they definitely made the process easy. Their team made sure to reward me with a user-friendly and efficient platform that covered everything I needed. Additionally, they were keen on suggesting productive ideas that improved the overall quality of my e-commerce site.

DIGITECH has brought in palpable results to our business —we’ve ranked first for every key term in our industry in New York City, and we continue to climb rankings in New York City, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Long Island. Our organic leads and call volume for interested and potential customers have increased tremendously, and we owe it all to DIGITECH’s team.

We mainly communicate with them via email and text. DIGITECH is a responsive team that attends to our requests within 5–10 minutes. Their project management approach is just fantastic.

DIGITECH delivers immediate results without sacrificing quality and disregarding our expectations. What they’ve given us so far is the best I’ve ever seen in the industry.

They could consider offering web design as part of their packaged services, not a stand-alone one.

I’m an emerging technologies analyst at a custom home builder. My main responsibility centers on bringing in new technologies and software vendors and working closely with our in-house development team to implement these innovations and keep our company website up-to-date.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DIGITECH performs several design-related tasks for us within several small projects. Their services range from designing web pages to implementing newly designed features for a more streamlined UX and conducting AB testings to optimize the overall usability of the site.

We’ve also had a particular project wherein they implemented changes following an MVC.NET architecture. Part of their task was integrating a geolocation feature that allowed our users to search our homes via zip code searches.

For our company anniversary, we’ve also reached out to their team again to have them develop a new page that our users will find more engaging and interactive. We’ve laid out our design plans to their team, and they’ve condensed everything into a single webpage.

Our partnership started in September 2020, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

DIGITECH has set up coherent web pages that our clients have really appreciated — everything seems to be in place, and all the functionalities are running smoothly. We’ve had some issues before on how to position everything in a way that they don’t look like scattered pieces of design without a common theme, but DIGITECH helped us overcome that and made everything look pleasing, modern, and professional.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicate via email. Since we haven’t done any major projects together, we haven’t found the need to expand our communication channels yet. Throughout our projects, they’ve been highly responsive and communicative. We don’t ever find the need to chase them for unmet deadlines because that’s never been an issue in our partnership. Additionally, their turnaround time is just outstanding. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

DIGITECH continuously amazes us with their professionalism. They’re a results-oriented team that’s always up to any challenge, taking these in stride and exceeding our expectations.

I haven’t encountered any areas that need improvement. We’ve been very happy with their work.

Be open-minded and trust DIGITECH’s expertise and opinions. They have a good eye for design, and you’ll see this unfold through their work.

I’m the Marketing and Communications Director of a nationwide Direct Primary Care organization.

What challenge were you trying to address with DIGITECH?

Previously, our website was built on a standard WordPress template. Our site didn’t stand out to our target audience. We wanted to capture accurate buyer journeys and create contact forms that would integrate with our HubSpot services. That way, we’d attract a wider range of leads and be able to track those leads more easily.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

To start the engagement, they sent us a few questionnaires about our requirements for the updated site. They used our responses to guide the project timeline flow maps. Then, they built the site from scratch, using our requested content, design requests, etc.

How did you come to work with DIGITECH?

We found them through an Internet search. Darryl (CEO) is really proud of his firm’s SEO. Out of five quotes from the top web agencies in Austin, we chose theirs.

How much have you invested with them?

In total, we’ve invested about $35,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from February 2019–April 2020. We paused partway through the project due to a huge product launch on our end.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The previous website wasn’t modern and our information architecture was pretty bad as well. Now, website visitors are impressed with our new site's information and look. This is helpful to me in particular, as a high-quality website can help attract candidates interested in marketing and sales positions. Our key audience has also appreciated how interactive and informational the new site is. DIGITECH’s dedication to outlining our buyer personas on the new site has made a huge difference for us.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

They did pretty well. I can be a little picky, but once we understood how to communicate with each other everything went pretty smoothly. They made project management as easy as possible. They provided frequent updates on their progress and checked in with me regularly, even when the project was paused.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were really flexible with our timeline.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This was my first major website redesign, so I would have liked it if they were clearer on what items/widgets were included in the contract/pricing for this project from the beginning.

For us, I went into the project with a clear and established idea of what style we wanted but I realized there were many details we should have been prepared to address. So make note of what questions and expectations you have so they are clearly communicated from the launch of the project.

DIGITECH revamped our website in a way that will generate more traffic. They’re also working on a blog campaign to help us get keywords that will get us on the first page.

I work with Darryl (Founder & SEO Prodigy) and Jake (VP & Creative Director).

How did you come to work with DIGITECH?

Darryl was a client of ours, and he had been for a while, so he offered to do my website. I eventually reached out to him, and he sent me a couple of examples. I was blown away by the examples and talked it over with some of my business contacts who had great feedback.

The website was $15,000, and we spend $3,500 per month on SEO. The total so far is $18,000, but it will be about $35,000 when all is said and done. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I began working with them in October 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re not live yet, but we know that it’s going to be easier for new clients to get in touch with us and take the call to action (CTA). It’s going to improve our sales process and other places where we had inefficiencies. It’s taken a lot of work off my plate.

Once we go live, when clients who are referred to us see our website, they’re going to feel more comfortable coming to us versus with our original website. I believe that we’re going to see more traffic.

How did DIGITECH perform from a project management standpoint?

DIGITECH is awesome. They use this flow map technology, and Jake is always on the ball. He lets us know when we need to do certain things. He’s clear on what needs to be done, so the process has given us time to think about which clients we want.

What did you find most impressive about them?

When I need something, they’re on it. What sets them apart is their personal client experience. They’re not a huge corporation that puts us at the back of their pipeline. They make us feel like we’re at the center of their business. The team is dedicated to making sure that we’re satisfied and happy.

No, not that I can think of.

Follow DIGITECH’s advice and be transparent with what you want. Don’t worry about offending them. If it’s in their wheelhouse, they’re going to figure out how to do what you want. Understand what you want and communicate it.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are happy with the look and functionality of the website. I appreciate their patience with us and our approval process--we are an exacting company that moves cautiously.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Digitech team communicates best via email. I was the primary point of contact for most things and mainly communicating with their VP. Our Co-CEO was also included in conversations and approvals as necessary.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their heart really seems to be in SEO. Impressive portfolio of other companies they had worked with.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Communication was the major area for improvement. Reaching people via phone was challenging. Also, given the scale of the project, it was difficult to get everything down in writing and then to keep track of all of those notes.

Discrepancies between our requests and work product result were a challenge throughout--and I acknowledge that is a shared burden of responsibility.

DIGITECH changed our entire corporate website. The platform’s six pages and each page contains in-depth information. Their team took the content that we provided them and recreated the whole site.

They built a landing page with an image scroll. Their team also rebuilt the investor and employee log-in pages, giving them a more sophisticated look. DIGITECH’s now adding more features to the website.

We found them either through a reference or online research. We had conversations with other companies but felt the best about DIGITECH. Their team seemed invested in the results. We were impressed with their attitudes and decided to move forward with them.

The project started in March 2020, and they finished the redesign in May.

Everyone's happy with the new website. The platform looks great. We received positive feedback from people in the industry as well as from our employees.

We communicated via email and phone calls. When we submitted documents to them for content or adjustments, they created a Google Doc for us to provide comments. At our company, we had a team that reviewed their products and worked with them through any changes.
