Polcode is a custom software development company that has been active in the market since 2006. We support clients worldwide in developing and maintaining web applications and provide technological consultancy. To date, we have completed over 1400 projects for SMEs, startups, and corporations. 

Over the years, Polcode has received numerous awards and accolades, including a nomination for the Forbes Diamonds, consistently ranking at the top in the field of software development for eCommerce and Magento, and has been a leader in many categories on Clutch under our areas of expertise. What specific goals or objectives did you hire DIGITALKOD to accomplish?

Our collaboration with the consulting company Digitalkod began with a marketing audit - analysis and diagnosis of the initial situation. Our goal was to increase the efficiency of the marketing and sales activities already underway, including the process of acquiring new B2B clients and generating sales leads for our software development company. 

We knew our marketing should yield better results, but we were unclear about what was actually working and what was only generating costs, where there was room for optimization in our strategy or operational activities. We were not looking for more tactics and operational improvements, we wanted to identify the root causes of our problems, and achieve greater transparency of actions as well as improve decision-making processes based on data.

Our cooperation began with marketing analysis, and after its completion, we decided to continue with further support. Since the beginning of our joint work, Digitalkod consultants have supported us in various areas: from strategy, including the development of mission and vision, through advisory support for the Board, support in building and developing the marketing team, to managing B2B marketing and adapting to our needs.

As a result of the marketing analysis, we received a document containing a substantive and data-based audit. Digitalkod also excelled at building an internal marketing team for us. Following their recommendations, we implemented necessary changes that positively impacted our business.

The aim of the project was to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the marketing team's strategies, processes, and overall performance. Three key goals for such an audit were:

1. Performance Assessment: The first goal was to analyze the marketing team's performance across various channels and campaigns. This includes evaluating the success of past and current marketing strategies, return on investment (ROI), conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and other relevant metrics. The audit also identified strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in order to make data-driven recommendations for future marketing initiatives.
2. Process Optimization: The second goal was to examine the marketing team's processes, workflows, and communication methods. This involved reviewing the team's organizational structure, project management methodologies, content creation processes, and marketing technology stack. The auditor identified any inefficiencies, redundancies, or gaps in the processes and recommend strategies to streamline operations, enhance collaboration, and improve the overall effectiveness of the team.

For me personally, they have helped me expand my knowledge, enhance online marketing options, and set up funnels for lead generation.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We have clearly identified our target audience and create a strategy to reach it. The strategy improved customer retention and lead generation. The vendor improved our content marketing and SEO strategy resulting in better organic traffic to our website. Marketing campaigns have also driven a marked increase in the number of leads.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had met twice a week but in case of any questions or problems the vendor was always available and willing to help. The team is available to answer questions and offer advice.

They're really proactive in completing tasks in a quick turnaround and providing deep analysis.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Since the beginning we succesfully deployed the product on the market with first international orders being delivered in April 2021. We attracted multiple customers to our Webinars, organised at the suggestion of Digitalkod.

The workflow was extremely well organised.

I was really impressed by their ability to synthesize a series of information into a coherent strategy and communication lines, much better approaching our Customers than we previously did.
