Deepika and her team were engaged to deliver Phase 2 development for my business, My Best Birthday, a UK-based digital platform connecting parents with children’s party providers. The scope included designing and developing several custom features to improve user engagement, retention, and monetisation. Key deliverables included a fully integrated birthday reminder system, wishlist and favourites functionality, CRM automation through FluentCRM, user account enhancements, advanced tracking and analytics implementation, and custom plugin development to support specific business requirements that could not be achieved through off-the-shelf solutions. The project also involved integrating multiple WordPress plugins and third-party services, ensuring all systems worked seamlessly together, implementing automated customer journeys, configuring data tracking for future business intelligence, and producing comprehensive handover documentation. The team collaborated closely with my existing developer to ensure compatibility with the wider platform and delivered a solution that aligned with both the technical requirements and long-term growth strategy of the business.

What truly stood out was how Mukul and the team made me feel like more than just a client. The only time we couldn’t meet was during their Holi celebration—and not only did they communicate that with warmth and respect, but they also shared some beautiful photos of the celebration. That moment made me feel like we were genuinely building a relationship, not just completing a transaction. I felt like I had a true partner in the process.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digital4design could have done differently?

Coming from the South, I’m used to people being very warm and overly polite in communication. I noticed some cultural differences, as their style was a bit more direct. While this didn’t bother me personally—and I appreciated the clarity—I can imagine that others who aren’t as flexible might misinterpret it. If anything, I’d just recommend the team keep cultural differences in mind when working with clients from different backgrounds, especially those who might expect a different communication style. But again that is just my point of view. Just know they are direct, but that's because they are very serious about their job :).
