Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the head of marketing at Fundacion Mark, a nonprofit hospitality foundation. We have seven playrooms across the country, and we provide entertainment and cover the emotional health of kids receiving chemotherapy in hospitals.

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Producers?

We needed someone to develop our website and help us with marketing to increase our donations and volunteers. We were looking to explain our work and its impact and communicate our achievements.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digital Producers has developed our website from scratch, building our web pages so people can buy the paintings we’re selling. We’ve given them guidelines to follow and a brief about our organization containing all the information they need to know. 

Beyond the website, Digital Producers has been helping us in various tech projects. We brainstorm ideas with them, and they’ve helped us come up with content. They also did our newsletter and assisted us with various tasks for a virtual event.

I work with one teammate.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working together since December 2020, and our partnership is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve already launched the website, and Digital Producers’ work has exceeded our expectations — the site is amazing.

How did Digital Producers perform from a project management standpoint?

Digital Producers’ project management is excellent. We have two Zoom meetings per week, and we also communicate through mobile calls. They’re good at planning for our website content and other tasks.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Digital Producers is communicative, and we frequently meet with their team. They give us feedback and reports about the website, including information about our viewers and clicks. They’re very human and do a great job.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything. Everything has been great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend Digital Producers 100% — it’s nice working with them.

Digital Producers helped us increase our capacity and responsiveness. They handled email exchanges with our customers and acted as an extension of our team.

We worked with five teammates.

How did you come to work with Digital Producers?

I had previously worked with someone from Digital Producers. When I needed an agency to help us, I reached out to someone I already knew well. 

How much have you invested with them?

We spent around $400,000 in five years. 

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January 2015–January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Digital Producers gave us the flexibility of having the equivalent of 1–2 full-time resources without hiring anyone directly in our company.

How did Digital Producers perform from a project management standpoint?

They were outstanding in project management. We used Basecamp and Slack to communicate.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

Digital Producers was reliable. They were able to deliver whenever we asked for their help. There were times when we needed a same-day turnaround, and they found ways to make that work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I can’t think of anything.

Have open communication, and trust Digital Producers like they’re a part of your team.

I’m the operations director of Digital Additive, an Atlanta-based email and electronic customer relationship management (eCRM) focused agency specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Some of our clients include Home Depot, Grammarly, Nordstrom, and Carter’s.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Digital Producers?

Since our client had around three email campaigns going out per day, they had challenges internally with gathering information requirements. Due to the high number of requests we were receiving from one of our clients, we decided to work with Digital Producers to help us with production work. Though we had a staff that support all of our client’s requests, we were dealing with a lot of heavy production work.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Digital Producers helped us increase the volume of work we were finishing. They also strengthened the resources we had internally. Whenever we sent them requests from the previous day, they’d always finish what we assigned to them in the morning. As result, when we came in, we could get the campaign finalized and ready to go in the afternoon.

What is the team composition?

We had one main point of contact, but there were a couple of people working with him, too.

How did you come to work with Digital Producers?

We met Digital Producers through a mutual friend.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership ran from January 2015–July 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We had successful campaigns because of Digital Producers’ work. In total, we completed 1,700 email bills over our five-year partnership.

How did Digital Producers perform from a project management standpoint?

Internally, we used Jira. However, when we reached out to them, we used Slack and Basecamp. We communicated what we needed to their team as well as the corresponding timelines for each of our requested deliverables.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very flexible and easy to work with.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could’ve shared some of their own recommendations periodically, but we probably should’ve done quarterly check-ins to ask them about that.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Clearly communicate with Digital Producers, and everything should be fine.
