What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Digispot has overhauled our analytics setup, rebuilding the data layer and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking on Magento 2, which is notoriously difficult to get right. They’ve managed to get all the data properly connected and reliable.The most tangible outcome has been a noticeable drop in cart abandonment following the UX changes. Just as importantly, the new analytics setup has given us reliable, complete data for the first time, which means we can make decisions based on actual customer behavior instead of guesswork and roll out further changes much faster since we no longer have to question whether the data is accurate.Having accurate analytics has changed how our team operates day to day. Before, decisions were often based on partial data or intuition since we couldn’t fully trust what we were seeing. Now, we can see the full picture of how customers actually move through the site, which means we spend less time debating what might be happening and more time acting on what we know is happening. It’s also sped up how quickly we implement changes since we no longer have to second-guess the data behind a decision.

Digispot’s project management has been solid. They deliver on time and are very responsive throughout the project. Communication is straightforward, so we always know where things stand and can move quickly when something needs a decision on our end.

What stands out most is how grounded their approach is in real customer input rather than generic UX playbooks. They run live surveys with our customers to understand actual behavior before proposing changes. On the technical side, we’re also impressed that they’ve managed to properly rebuild our analytics and GA4 tracking on Magento 2, which has a reputation for being genuinely difficult to get right, and they’ve gotten it working reliably.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There have been a few moments where the proposed designs don’t quite match our sense of style, but that comes down to subjective creative preferences on our side rather than any issue with their process or execution. It just takes a couple of rounds of feedback to align on the right look.

The project included a comprehensive e-commerce and CRO audit focused on improving the overall performance of our online store. Digispot delivered a high-quality audit in Notion, with over 70 specific recommendations, clearly prioritized and divided into key areas such as product pages, cart, checkout, value communication, UX, analytics, and overall e-commerce strategy.

Their work was very thorough. They conducted deep research, analyzed heatmaps using Hotjar and Microsoft Clarity, reviewed user session recordings, studied customer reviews about our company, exchanged messages with our customer service team, benchmarked competitors, checked analytics data, prepared mockups, and proposed concrete solutions rather than generic suggestions.

After implementing Digispot’s recommendations, we saw clear improvements in our store performance.

Better CTA styling helped increase add-to-cart actions by 11%. On category pages, bounce rate dropped by around 16%, and customers became more engaged with our offer. On average, they now view over 20% more pages per session.

We also introduced upsell mechanisms that increased the share of customers buying complementary products by more than 4x. This was a very significant improvement, especially for an e-commerce business focused on optimizing the purchase journey and increasing AOV.

Finally, we redesigned the cart, especially for mobile users, making the shopping experience much smoother and easier. Overall, these changes had a real positive impact on both conversion and customer experience.

Tests that did not reach statistical significance or the defined Minimum Detectable Effect (MDE) were systematically identified and excluded from decision-making, introducing greater testing discipline and methodological accuracy. Additionally, measurable outcomes included actionable insights derived from user testing. While these insights did not always translate directly into immediate conversion uplift, they significantly improved on-site messaging and overall marketing communication, leading to more user-aligned content and better-informed optimization efforts.
