Working with the software factory to launch our ERP for Condo Administrators by October 2016 was a pivotal moment for us. Achieving this milestone on schedule allowed us to begin real-world testing and understand our users' needs closely. Following this initial success, we completed three more iterations, refining our product to market readiness. 

The journey didn’t stop there; we continued to iterate based on user feedback while simultaneously developing the resident platform, ensuring it integrated seamlessly with our ERP. This comprehensive approach enabled us to meet our launch deadlines, affirming the software factory's commitment to timely delivery. 

Over the last three months, we've focused on maintaining and evolving our platform. Importantly, as we began building our development team, Digbang played a crucial role. They not only helped in hiring but also generously trained our team, facilitating a smooth and successful offboarding process. This partnership with the software factory has been instrumental in our project's success, highlighting their expertise, commitment to deadlines, and supportive collaboration.

• Rapid User Acquisition: By June 2017, our platform was adopted by over 40 condominium administrators. 
• Extensive Building Coverage: More than 500 buildings were onboarded, demonstrating our platform's scalability and utility across diverse condominium structures. 
• Large Resident Engagement: The platform engaged over 10,000 residents, showcasing its effectiveness in enhancing communication and management for condominium communities. 
• On-Time MVP Launch: Achieved the milestone of launching the ERP for Condo Administrators by October 2016, on schedule. 
• Continuous Product Evolution: Completed three significant iterations post-MVP launch, driven by user feedback, resulting in a market-ready product. 
• Integrated Resident Platform Development: Successfully developed and launched a resident platform integrated with our ERP, improving the user experience and operational efficiency. 
• Platform Maintenance and Evolution: Dedicated the last three months to the platform's maintenance and evolutionary updates, further refining its performance and user satisfaction.

Their project management was highly effective, marked by timely deliveries and a keen responsiveness to our needs. Despite the overall success, our journey wasn't without its challenges. We encountered intense discussions over product definitions, which, while challenging, ultimately enriched the final product delivered to the end-user. This dynamic underscored the depth of our collaborative partnership, where even disagreements were leveraged to enhance the project's outcome.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I found most impressive about this company was how it functioned like the CTO I never had, operating as if it were a co-founder with deep technical knowledge. Their commitment and understanding went beyond the usual scope of work; they were truly aligned with my vision, internalizing and connecting with the project at a level that is rare to find. 

This approach was transformative, enabling us to conceive and develop the product with a shared passion and insight as if they were an intrinsic part of Octopus from the very beginning.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Digbang could have done differently?

While our partnership with Digbang was highly productive, an area for improvement could be the depth of technical documentation. While sufficient, a more detailed approach could further enrich our project's foundation, balancing the rapid delivery that was crucial to our success with the long-term benefits of comprehensive documentation.
