We partnered with DevstarX to develop "The Block TV" an innovative IoT device that sits between a TV service and the TV itself, using AI to detect ads in real-time and replace them with a custom screensaver.

The system included:

95% Ad Detection Accuracy – Their AI model achieved near-perfect ad recognition, minimizing false positives/negatives.

We wanted to create a platform for small farmers of the country in order to digtize the agri sector by creating an application which included an online marketplace, an advisory service, social engagement and a online lending platform.

Skillforte is a company which provided and met all our criteria in terms of the required solutions under on roof and their relevant experience in the domain helped us chose them over the competitors. Pricing was also competitive and their domain expertise helped us in taking a decision

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Scope of work included building an online application, admin portals, analytics, website development, API developments and third party integrations. They were hired to create a complete solution. They created an architecture that utilized AWS to create a scaleable infrastructure for the application. They developed the API's using Node.js ensuring the code's security, reliability, and maintainability. They designed and developed android applications. They also developed an admin portal that controls the offerings on the android application. Another requirement for the project was to create an Analytics Portal where the analytics based upon 180+ data points were shown in different visualizations.

A total of 12 people worked on the project including software developers, user experience developers, designers, system architects and cloud computing professionals.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Overall we are satisfied with the outcome of the products and services delivered by skillforte and all requirements were met in a timely manner, as per our specifications. We currently have 25000 plus famers on our platform and we intend to grow gradually to a million farmers in next 2 years

Project management was outsourced to skillforte and they managing the overall project. Regular communications included emails, meeting (online and in person) and phone calls etc. Reporting was being done mostly on excel coupled with power point presentations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most unique aspect was the quality of the product delivered on timely basis considering the idea was the first of its kind in Pakistan. Their team was always very accessible which made things easier for us as clients.

we believe they need to work a little on the documentation side of things

We had a complex, web-based application, and in that time all tests were doing manually before each release. The job was to create form scratch all the battery of tests to ensure the quality of the application before releasing any new feature.

Don't have an exact metric, but the number of incidents that were reported after each new release decreased dramatically thanks to this job.

When outsourcing, you are really concerned about relying on someone that may disappear. We hired them for the first time in 2015, and in all this time they kept in touch with us, even with no active project between us, until now when we hired them again for an entirely different project.

Every problem we ran into was immediately communicated and resolved, so I don't have any constructive feedback.

skillforte was hired to enable xloop digital with the design and devlopment of the website to integrate the LMS systems for our bootcamp partners Emeritus, to manage the enrolments for the cohort's and to automate the screening process for the candidates.

The team consisted of 1 Business analyst, 2 Designers, 2 Web developer (frontend and Backend), 1 integration Engineer, and a technical project manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The outcomes that we were looking for was a seamless integration with the LMS system and enrolment process automation for the candidates. We were trying to minimize the effort required by the candidate to get up and running with the system and ultimately we had a very smooth user journey for the candidates to follow.

Our Project Management was great, we worked on Agile methodology with sprints of 15 days and feedback. Team met all the deadlines. We communicated through Zoom & Teams

They were able to quickly develop the system on a very short notice, and their communication was outstanding throughout the process.

As every project presents it's learning in retrospect, we had a detailed retrospective meeting with the skillforte and we have identified some process improvements that might help them in future
